Hi!

Need ko lang ng help regarding what steps to take. Under H4 visa kasi ako. And nag-apply na ko for CVS kasi dito sa NY kami nagstay. Ready for final review na yung application ko. Pwede na ba ko magtake ng IELTS while waiting to take nclex exam? How about yung Certification Program ng CGFNS need ko padin ba kunin yung service na yun? I know yung Visa Screen need talaga. Pano ba yugn ginawa nyo or ng mga hubbies nyo? Thank you.

Nurse from Norway here. Parang endangered species ata kaming mga RN dito...  Everybody else are in North America or UK or middle east or asia...

Any other sykepleier (Norwegian nurse) here?

mga sisses, im an rn and i graduated nung 2009 pero volunteer exp palang ako, anyone who can help me na merong alam kung san pwedeng mag apply sa ibang bans akahit wala pang staff nurse experience?. please help naman po, really want to work and earn. really need it. i would really appreciate. kahit saang bansa mga sisses basta legal.thanks!

subscribing in this thread for my brother. saan kaya siya pwede mag apply? he has 3 years experience as a nurse but haven't taken ielts or nclex yet. need na niya mag abroad because he has a kid na.

nclex requires SSN (majority of US states),  he can only acquire SSN if he's a  permanent resident or citizen. open ang canada, australia, NZ, middle east

^ i agree. this is one mistake my friend did. she went to the US as a tourist and got a TIN instead of SSN kasi she worked as a reliever naman in a nursing home kasi nakinig siya sa mga ewan dun na yun daw need in order to take nclex. turns out, it was not tin but SSN. ayun! bingo siya. as per my bestfriend whose bro works in immigration, she should come back in the  US ng mga isang taon pa with family or friends for "vacation" kasi lalabas sa record niya na kumuha siya ng tin. double whammy for her because she did not get to take nclex din.

singapore requires minimum 2 years work experience in a 200-bed capacity hospital..i don't think ielts is required, but a somewhat nclex equivalent exam (don't know what it's called) is needed..if i were qualified, i'd prefer to go there malapit lang kasi, madaling bisitahin ng loved ones

^ Sis, if I remember correctly, at least 3 years working experience. Yun lang ang requirement. Tapos staff agad ang pasok mo dun.

Sabi din ng mga nakakakwentuhan kong staff, mahigpit daw sa singapore. Bawal daw umupo sa silya the whole time na shift mo? Totoo ba ito? Sakit sa varicose veins nun!

^ Sis, dun yun sa mga nakasama ko sa previous ward na inikutan ko eh.. Hindi ko lang alam kung anong agency.. Lagi nila akong sinasabihan na maghanap sa workabroad.com. Kahit sa elevator, nadidinig ko yan eh.. hehe

^ Direct hire ata yun sis. Hindi ko lang sure. Pero madami daw sa workabroad. Gusto ko ngang maghanap hanap kaso iilang buwan pa lang ang combined hospital experience ko eh. So useless. Hehe

Kumusta ang employment sa australia? Mahihire kaya ako if i have less than a month's experience? (lets say i gained rn registration already)

I have a question, this co worker I know she claims she is a nurse, even presented the employment certificate, pero when I ask her basic stuff parang she is not that familiar. Who usually signs the certificate of employment of a staff nurse, what's the position of the person with authority to sign this paper? Curious lang lol.

Ok naman sis. Syempre iba language dito kaya yun ang una mong pag aaralan pero in general, OK ang benefits dito. ayun lang, malamig at saka madilim during cold season at saka not to mention a very high standard of living.
