I have a cousin who worked briefly in the Phils then went to Saudi Arabia where she just worked for over 2 yrs. Now she's coming to Canada, not as a nurse, but as a caregiver. This is the route she took since it is quiet an easy way to get here.

@isha: uu...sinend ko lang yung mga requriements sa recruitment agency. tapos yung immig lawyer na nag asikaso lahat.

@dianatan:nung last week of january sis. Yup, yearly daw sila nagrerecruit.

^sis amity,eh sino nagbayad? Kasi yung sakin ako nagpay ng visa fee and lahat ng papers to be filed like yung visa screen,credentials assessment,nurse for 1&3 and yung license for endorsement thing..dun ako nagastos and so far yung visa screen palang ang tapos..yung remaining hindi pa..ikaw ba meron ka na lahat? And sis what ang sabi ng agency sayo? Gano daw katagal magwait?

^complete na ako lahat sis, including the visa screen certificate. pero ako pa rin nagbayad ng change of license ko and yung ieexam ko online. After interview kasi sinabi agad kung sino natanggap kaya after that they briefed us sa contract then meet up with the lawyer. sign ng mga forms.

about sa visa fee...yung employer namin ang nagbayad sis. ang naalala ko lang yung dinala ko lang na form is yung change of license, verification of license for vermont...the rest sila na nag file ata. ang sabi naman sa amin within 1 year ang processing. I don't know rin kung totoo kasi nga diba retrogression pero yun ang inassure nila kahit may retro. ako rin pala nagbayad for my endorsement tska yung verification sa vermont and yung online exam.

sa ngayon sis, tapusin ko nalang yung ipapasa ko pa sa vermont yung verification ng license ko and yung online exam. ang status naman ng application ko is "No current visa number available". Correct me if im wrong pero does that mean na packet 3 na ako?

regarding sa agency sa kanial lang naman kasi kami nagpass ng requirements eh pero we are not under them. directly under na kami sa employer kaya if I have concerns I just email our immig lawyer. tsaka may site rin yung lawyer namin kung saan namin chinecheck yung status ng application namin.

^sis ano yung packet3? And when ka nagtake ng nclex? nagbackread ako and may nabasa ako na 8years ang validity ng exam result? kanino applicable to? Took mine nung sept.2008,kasama ba ako dun?

Yung sakin naman direct hiring din,i was interviewed sa manila and it took 2 months ata they just sent me an email na natanggap nako but i signed the contract nung nainterview ako kasi next day they went back to NY na..pero when i have concerns i contact the recruiting agency na ginamit ng hospital which is JUNO Healthcare..may contract kaba? Sis ako 3years pero consumable sa hours..then yung lahat ng papers ako nagpay..pati visa filing fee..wala naman 100k nagastos ko pero okay narin at least alam ko may naproprocess na kahit papano..i was told na they're hoping na ma-lift na ang retro pero naman..i received the october bulletin and 2002 na ngayon? Sa 3rd category tayo tama ba? Hay

yung packet thingy is steps yun sa visa processing sa pagkakaalam ko.

2007 pa ako nagtake ng NCLEX. 8 Years validity sa exam? I thought depende sa license mo. As for me, sa Vermont kasi ako and I already renewed my license before March kasi nag expire siya last march.

There's one person rin pala from the agency na pwede namin kontakin pag may queries kami. Binigay lang rin niya yung mobile number sa amin lahat. Pero di ko pa siya nattext eh.

Nagsign na rin kami ng contract after the interview and it's good for 2 1/2 years.

approved na ba ng uscis yung petition mo?

Until April 2009 na ata ang pinaprocess nila when I checked uscis site. Ganun? May 2009 ako di pa umabot. Naman naman!

yes sis na approve na and yung ininform ako ng lawyer yun pinadala yung sulat ng uscis yung PD date. Sis anong april2009 nakita mo? San nakikita yun? So yung april 2009 na may pd date magkakavisa na??

Wait ka nalang ng license sa NY. Yung NCLEX hindi talaga nageexpire, yung application sa BON ang nag eexpire. But once you have a license na nageexpire din you like sa license natin dito. YUng child abuse wala namang expiry yun pero syempre after ilang years outdated na yun, e hindi pa naman sure kung kelan yung visa diba?

^ Yes sis, ganun na nga.. Sobrang tagal pa nga. Buti ka nga, 2006. Ako, 2008 pa.

Last year, during my application month, nasa 2005 na eh. Then a couple of months after, naging 2003. Then eto pala, 2002 na. Grabe sa tagal... Sabi sa agency ko, lucky us pinoys na daw kasi sa India, nasa 2000 daw ang current nila.
