Estrel's Bakeshop, who love their caramel cake?

^talaga sis? meron na silang branch sa mall? Meron din bang caramel cake na available?

Sana may magtinda sa multiply ng cakes nila, na malapit sa place namin, layo kasi namin from tomas morato. Sana magka branch din sila sa megamall.

I love Estrel's caramel cake!!! MIL ko hindi mahilig sa mga cakes but when she tasted Estrel's, ayun nagrequest na dapat daw sa birthday nya ganon ang cake nya. 

Lagi kong binibili yung may caramel filling sa loob, anyway around P50 -100 lang naman ang difference dun sa walang filling. So sulit!

Which one is better, Estrel's or the caramel cake at Pasteleria Costa Brava? I saw Costa Brava's stall in SM Makati and their cake slices looks so tempting too, I've heard raves about it din kasi  (so I might try to buy next weekend)

^i had a free taste of the costa brava caramel cake yesterday, sa SM makati nga. very creamy. 

after longing to try estrel's caramel cake for years, i finally was able to have a slice last night at a party. personally lang ha, mas gusto ko yung dulce de leche ng red ribbon. masyadong ordinary yung sa estrel's. walang 'wow' factor. just my opinion.

^ di ako naka-free taste sa Costa Brava, but the individual cake slices looked so sweet & creamy nga.. parang ang daming caramel nung nakita ko on display e! Hehe..

@u8mypinkcookies, sis para sa akin halos parehas lang ang estrel's at costa brava (baka tastebuds ko lang yun ha) sa akin kasi kahit mas simple mas masarap pa rin yung sa becky's kitchen kasi simple lang at may "wow" factor sa akin (hehe pahiram ng term sis lemonade)

Finally tasted it. Simple lang sya, not so good, not bad either, the design especially the flower butter icing reminds me of Hizon's cakes.

I was able to buy Costa Brava's caramel cake today... a small, heart-shaped cake is sold at P120.. after ko ma-try, next ko Estrel's para ma-compare ko, hehe

een$y: I got the 8 inch caramel cake with filling, tapos me flower butter icing sya on top.
Di naman sa hindi nagustuhan sis, di lang ako nahimatay sa sarap hehe at hindi ko sya naaalala, pero pwede na for its price. =)

Just bought one cake from Estrel's yesterday.Nagulat lang ako na hindi pala ypur typical bakeshop store pala yung shop nila sa may scout.para siyang office pagpasok mo with lots of cake boxes.I was supposed to order lang pero meronna daw sila available so i got the Caramel cake with caramel filling Php 550.Masrap cya,moist yung chiffon cake nya and di nga matamis yung caramel icing.Hubby said so so lang,he was expecting more dahil sa mga kuwento ko dito sa GT.gusto sana nya yung tipong kalasa daw ng kraft na caramel candy yung square. pero for me its was Good!Kakasawa na kasi mga cake ng red ribbon and goldilocks eh.
What we liked also was their oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies nila.di pa kami nakalayo ubos na namin yung 6 pcs.

^ I think pre-order lahat, kase i sent my husband to pick up the cake, wala daw display dun, puro naka box ready for pick up, nag chamba lang pagtawag ko meron daw nung 8inch P550 cake, pero ganun ba talaga, if you buy now ang nakalagay na expiry date eh tomorrow agad? I was thinking kaya me available that time baka me nagpa reserve at nagcancel last minute kaya very close na expiry date.

ako naman, (sorry if OT ) na-try ko Costa Brava's caramel cake yesterday, okay rin kasi di matamis pero parang kulang naman sa lasa ng caramel... or maybe because mas like ko talaga pag chocolate or mocha flavored cakes (or icing) than chiffon! siguro hindi sya something na lagi ko i-crave but once in a while we'd buy it pa rin.. my sister liked it naman kasi mas gusto nya if hindi matamis yung cakes. i'll tell her to try Estrel's next time.
