Estrel's Bakeshop, who love their caramel cake?

I've loved Estrel's Caramel Cake for many, many years now

kapag christmas season and the likes you need to order a few days in advance kasi maraming umoorder.

For the price and taste, value for money na. 

I have tried Hizon's cakes for almost double the price... but probably the same taste and texture.

we've been patronizing estrel's since the 80s pa.. they used to be in recto pa that time

aside from the caramel cake, famous din sila for the roses (icing)

if you get just the chiffon, parang ordinary lang the taste so dapat specify the kind of cake. we get their butter cake with caramel frosting and covered with butter icing roses. yummy!

i tasted the caramel cake of a baker from makati, though softer and lighter yung texture ng cake, i still go for estrel's taste.

grabe! just tried it kanina lang and it was oh so good! hindi ganun katamis, just right for my taste buds. you need to order nga daw one day before you pick it up though meron din namang ready made. i think they need to put up another branch somewhere makati or manila hehe biased

and if you decide to get estrel's, you must order at least a day before unless merong order na hindi napick-up  < that's your only chance sis! layo pa naman ng timog

i knew estrel's from my in-laws so parang 1940s pa daw ito... even their wedding cake was from them so that's where we ordered ours too

I love them! Tuwing may occasions sa bahay, ito ang cake. Malapit lang kasi sa bahay since Scout area din kami.

The cake itself is plain chiffon, but it's really moist. The treat is really in the caramel icing, which isn't very sweet, kaya siguro gustong gusto ko. It's a must try!
