where to stay in macau?

Just came from Macua /HK two weeks ago.

I loved macau (it's the gambler in me). Was there for a day trip from HK  and stayed all day gambling at the Lisboa Hotel. Maulan so I didn't have time (or the patience) to see the sights.

But, hubby and I have booked a flight to go this September as my birthday gift to myself. I'm torn between staying at a pricey hotel or just a reasonably priced one since I know we will both be out most of the time to see the sights, shop or play at the casinos.

Any suggestions?

HK$650 per night po. executive room na po yun. malaki yung room. 2 double beds sya. with free breakfast for 2.

sis where kayo nagbook ng emperor hotel? and if ever magdagdag ng extra bed sa room, kasya kaya? kasi we are 6, 2 in each double bed tapos sana extra bed nalang yung 2 pa. Thanks sis!

Mga sis ask ko lang what hotels ang alam niyo na may 2 double beds in a room?hindi po two single beds ha? Ang alam ko lang is Holiday Inn and Venetian Hotel (Bella Suite). Baka mga sis may alam pa kayo. Thanks so much!

^sis, dun sa Hotel Sintra meron. tas may sofa pa. Deluxe room ata yun kinuha namin last time. but hindi masyado malaki yun bed ha. same as HK standards e.

i was able to stay at 3 hotels. venetian, MGM and four seasons. For me, the best would be four seasons. Service-wise, walang kwenta service sa venetian. and the rooms look really cheesy. second, I say, MGM. really, venetian is such a hype lang. when you're gonna pay that much, id rather pay double as long as maganda yung service. besides, four seasons is just beside venetian pero ang ganda ng ambiance. sa rooms naman, talagang 5 star. i go for modern style kasi kaya mas na appreciate ko sa four seasons =) hindi rin matao. I hate kasi yung madaming tao. So i can enjoy the malls and gondola rides and shows at the venetian but I can also enjoy the quiet and relazed ambiance at four seasons. =)

sa gambling naman, mas enjoy din ako sa four seasons. heck, para kang master dun hehe. the crew would really ask what you want to drink, eat, etc when you're gambling. pampered ka grabe. sa venetian, hahayaan ka lang nila. wala silang pakialam kung gutom ka. ewan, same lang yung owner nila but ang layo ng service ng hotels.

bonus na lang yung napanalunan namin. it paid for our four seasons stay and plane tix hehe. bale we enjoyed the experience and we got all our money back coz we won hehe.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Royal Hotel Macau. 4 star sya, medyo pricey according sa isa kong friend na galing na din dun.

Pero in terms of location super ok sya. Nasa harap lang sya ng Vasco de Gama Plaza, at nasa likod naman nya yung Guia Hill.

Last year I stayed at Metropark Hotel (malapit sa Holiday Inn)... ok sya location wise and malaki naman yung room namin.. d din gaano kamahal...  this October I booked at Hotel Beverly Plaza.. malapit lang sa lisboa... I hope ok din ",)
