where to stay in macau?

maganda rin ang macau...i love st. paul ruins..sobrang nagandahan ako dun. hindi ko alam kung mura magshopping dun..i'm more on sightseeing & I rather spend into food than shopping Wag nga pala kayo kakain sa Fat Burger in Venetian..hindi masarap at ang mahal pala! mas masarap pa Brother's Burger natin.

^^^di mura shopping sa macau.  As of now, puro fall and winter collection. So expect a lot of coats, sweaters and boots.  Lots and lots of boots. If you're looking for high end items, you can find a lot in Venetian.  Magsasawa ka doon

nagatos namin in macau (overnight) around HK$3500 wala na kaming shopping...konting pasalubong lang nabili puro food

^ we did that! we were 7 in a suite room... ang ginawa namin yung 2 officemates namin ang pinacheck in... parang naghohoneymoon sila kunwari... then we sneaked in... padala niyo nalang maleta niyo sa magchecheck in ;P

ako naman when we went to venetian, hindi crowded so nagenjoy talaga kami. tapos super lamig pa kasi winter when we came there so ang sarap sa labas! But we didnt sleep there so first time ko magoverngiht dun this coming november im so excited!

ask ko lang if yung sofa nila is a sofa bed? kasi indicated in their room description that the royale suite has "sofa sleeper", sofa bed ba siya na may expandable bed sa ilalim ng sofa?

the sofa is a sofa bed na good for two persons.

^thanks sis! yeah its a sofa bed alright, we just got back from two nights stay in Venetian just last weekend. Enjoy talaga in this hotel! It's worth every dime.

^sulit ba sis sa Venetian kahit 2 kami ni bf? or mas practical to stay na lang sa hotels sa city then visit na lang kami sa Venetian?

^If its a really special occasion, you deserve to stay sa Venetian. Its so romantic pero if medyo tight budget and hindi naman kayo maarte sa hotel, ok nadin magstay sa hotels near senado square and just visit venetian for a whole day

^1 day macau lang kasi kami sis so most of the time nasa labas lang kami..sayang naman ang ibabayad namin sa Venetian if tutulugan lang namin  anyway, which is better Metropark Hotel or Casa Real in terms of location and of course [textspeak!] room...i prefer both kasi parehong may free buffet breakfast others kasi like Sintra walang inclusive na breakfast. Hindi ba mahirap mag tour ng city if from Casa Real? diba it's near the ferry? while the Metropark naman is near Lisboa na..I'm having a hard time choosing kasi  balak namin mag-ikot sa Lisboa at night for picture taking.Hope you can help me

^Metropark Hotel has perfect location since its near senado square, Grand lisboa, wynn, mgm grand, macau museum, st. paul's ruins, etc.

But Casa Real has even better location kasi you can take advantage of the free shuttle buses of the hotels waiting sa ferry terminal! From ferry, you can go to senado square via grand lisboa, wynn or mgm grand. then balik ka lang ferry uli by taking free shuttle of any hotels tapos sakay ka naman ng venetian free shuttle, and wherever you want to go! Casa Real is also near fisherman's wharf, also a must-see, and Sands Hotel

^wow bilis mong sumagot sis  24 hrs. ba ang free shuttle? so kahit sa gabi may shuttle services pa rin to lisboa? TIA!

^hehe pareho tayong online now sis eh! anyway, I'm not sure if the free shuttles operate 24 hours. But since 24 hours ang schedule ng ferries from hong kong, baka ganun din sila to pick up passengers who take the night schedule ng ferries. basta kami, bumalik kami sa ferry terminal around 10pm and complete pa mga shuttle

^Shuttle service is until midnight only after that you can take a cab from the ferry terminal

mga sis ilang minutes by foot from Metropark to Lisboa and Senado Square? Hindi ba malayo layo iyon kasi sa map parang blocks away pa eh. Just wanna make sure na hindi kami mapapagod sa lakaran if doon kami magbook. Other options ko is Sintra or Casa Real. And sa free shuttle ng Sintra all going to ferry lang? Meaning we need to ride the shuttle to the Ferry tapos ride again ng another bus going to Lisboa? Many thanks!
