Yung holiday inn malapit lang sa hotel kung saan kami nag stay nung weekend.. sa Metropark Hotel.. maganda naman sya.. nasa 23rd floor kami.. malaki din yung room and malinis.. ok service nila... the best din yung location kasi malapit din sya sa lahat... nilalakad nga lang namin papuntang Lisboa,Wynn,Senado Square,etc... Affordable na din if weekend kayo pupunta.. mahal kasi mga hotels dun pag weekend.. kahit yung Holiday Inn umaabot na sa almost 1000HKD/night excluding taxes..

Sis, you may want to backread... andami na sinagest ng mga sis naten.. nway, personally I would recommend Metropark Hotel if you're on a budget and if weekend punta mo.. 1 block away lang sa Holiday Inn (same street cla)... You can also try Beverly Plaza hotel.. magkaneighbors lang sila ng Hotel Lisboa.. if luxury naman hanap mo... Wynn is the best.. although ok din sa Venetian but malayo sya sa Macau City.. you can usually take a free shuttle ride to Venetian(andami nilang buses around the city).. kaya ok na din.. Yung Sands hotel naman pala ok din.. malapit lang sya sa Fisherman's wharf.. but kahit saan naman sa Macau center ok na din since maliit lang naman kaya magkakalapit lang yung places and if you take a bus.. 2.5 dollars lang naman..

Welcome na welcome ka dun sa Venetian.. madami sila shuttle buses all over the city.. andami shops dun (tawag nila Grand Canal shops) kaya open talaga sya sa public...

^hindi ko alam yun.  ask them na lang, pero maliit ang beds, so better get 2 rooms na lang siguro at mura lang naman.

matipid lang talaga kame mag travel, ang tawag ng friend ko sakin kuripot.  sabi ng mommy ko di daw sa kuripot, practical lang.

We were supposed to stay in Lisboa on our first day and Then Venetian on our second day.  Kaso na cancel [textspeak!] flight namin sa tiger airways, pati hotel namin nadale. Everything has been paid at non-refundable whatever circumstance.  Kaya ayun, nasayang [textspeak!] binayad namin sa Lisboa.  Pero we were able to sleep sa The Venetian.  It was just a big hotel.  Super grand project but lacks in class.  I don't know.  Yun [textspeak!] impression namin ni hubby. Perhaps, it was welcome with so much hype and our expectation was too high.

To people who stayed in the Venetian, may naka-avail ba sa inyo ng free return trip sa cotaijet? I saw kasi sa site nila that if you take cotaijet from hongkong to macau and stayed sa Venetian, you can get complimentary tickets back to hong kong.

If may naka-avail na, how's the process? We'd like to avail this kasi eh Thanks mga sis!

^i was in macau last weekend and stayed in venetian, we didn't take cotaijet from hk to macau but we took it from macau to hk. we didnt get free tickets but they gave us $30 discount coupon for cotaijet. 2 discount coupons per room and if you'll need more you can call the reception or housekeeping to ask for more, they give extra. the coupons are in the room.

about vanetian...

the mall, casino and the halls were kinda overcrowded. when we first got there we were pretty much disappointed since daming tao sa hall tapos nagchecheck-in palang kami, walang upuan sa lobby kasi to prevent tambays. ayun nakatayo kami dun nabubungo-bungo sa ng mga tao. pero the room was nice. actually sa laki ng isang room pwede na sya sa isang family kasi a kid can sleep sa sofa. so tipid na diba? hehe!

tapos ideal sya kasi casino sa baba - the guys can play all they like, while the ladies can shop open yong mall till 11pm wala ng iisipin how to get home kaya shop lang ng shop.

the security is tight. for instance try sleeping sa food court naku lalapitan ka ng security. sasabihan kang bawal matulog dun kahit pumikit lang saglit kasi fast food yon. as in every corner may security assigned.

natuwa din pala ako to see a map sa room, i was expecting na map ng macau yon pala map ng hotel. the hotel was that big.

bawasan lang yong tao sa mall, halls and casino. nice na sya!

ako naman when we went to venetian, hindi crowded so nagenjoy talaga kami. tapos super lamig pa kasi winter when we came there so ang sarap sa labas! But we didnt sleep there so first time ko magoverngiht dun this coming november im so excited!

ask ko lang if yung sofa nila is a sofa bed? kasi indicated in their room description that the royale suite has "sofa sleeper", sofa bed ba siya na may expandable bed sa ilalim ng sofa?

just got back from macau. ok mag stay sa metropole...luma yung bldg sa labas..but maganda & malinis yung rooms. nakapagbooked ako from asiatravel.com HK$500/night.
