Hi there. Am planning to migrate for the sake of my kids. Easiest way is thru agency yung student visa for 1 year then after you are going to be given 1 year temp visa after if theres a company na magsponsor for p. R. What do you think? Am actually 40plus year old and an engr.... Or much better to log directly sa embassy?

Happy New Year, ladies! Kamusta naman sa NZ ngayon?

I started submitting applications thru seek.com.nz last month but unfortunately only one company replied... stating pa that they will just give me a call one I am in NZ already. I am a Systems Analyst btw.

Until now, I get confused with the immigration process. Should I submit my EOI as early as now if I plan to move late this year pa? Why do I need to have them assess if my university passed the NZQA ba un? Nag aapply yun sa lahat ng type ng visa na pang work?

^how do you plan to move to NZ? What type of visa are you planning to get? EOI is needed if you are going to apply for a WORK TO RESIDENCE visa. NZQA is just part of the EOI so you can get points for your degree.

The fact na may interesadong employer sa mga application mo thru SEEK kahit isa Lang yun is still a good sign but most of them nga wants the applicant to be in NZ na before sila mag interview. Still mag send ka pa din ng mag send ng application sa SEEK minsan may mga employer na desperate na makakuha ng staff na kahit overseas I interview na din nila and iniisponsor ang work visa and kapag naka tyempo ka ng ganun grab the opportunity kasi walang hirap at walang masyadong gastos yun. The same company that I was talking about in my previous reply emailed me again late last week - saying that their client, WestPac Bank is now considering applicants overseas. They then asked me 4 questions which I I replied to last Friday. Tapos this morning, the same recruitment manager called my mobile number but I unfortunately missed her calls. So I made an effort to call them back overseas. Sabi ng assistant, they will call me na lang daw tomorrow since they are done for the day. hehe! Sana po ay swertehin.

Nagbasa basa na po ako and nagets ko na po para san ang PAR, IQA, and EOI.

Grab mo yung opportunity Kung bigyan ka ng job offer. Yung ibang requirements wag mo munang isipin, once nabigyan ka ng work visa at makapunta sa nz and work, after a year of working Hindi mo na kailangan ang IELTS o yung proof na you can speak good English.  Yung EOI madali mo na yang magagawa kapag nagwowork ka na doon sa field mo.

Feel free to ask. Sagutin ko yun mga tanong mo sa abot ng makakaya ko. No offense meant sa ibang pinoy na may agency but wag ka basta basta papatol sa mga agency na nagsasabing ihahanap ka ng work then malaking amount yun babayaran mo sa kanila. Ang dami Kong narinig na ganyan sobra ng tinaga yung applicant.

I recently heard of a story from a friend na yung relative nya papunta na New Zealand (she's working in a Logistics company here sa UAE) dito na sa UAE nagprocess ng papers yung relative and in less than a year successful na yung application nya.

Honestly naengganyo ako kasi gusto ko din makapag migrate for my daughter's future esp I'm a single mom.

Pero I'll research muna re this and mag back read din sa mga New Zealand forums para mas marami akong idea.

^malaki chance nyo ng husband mo dahil short sa chef sa NZ. Lalo na at cruise ship ang experience Nya. He can even try to applying For a job kahit Wala pa kayo sa NZ. Www.seek.co.nz. Kahit Saan lugar sa NZ nangangailangan ng chef Pero syempre mas malaking chance pag nasa NZ ka mag aaply. Ano ang degree na matapos ng husband mo? If related sa pagiging chef you can apply for work to residence, puede Ito sa inyo dahil madaling makakuha ng work ang mga chef sa NZ. Hindi ko Ito inaadvise sa iba kasi kahit makapasa sa lahat ng points para sa work to residence visa Kung pagdating doon hirap din makapasok ng work eh Wala din malaki pa gastos.

^ malaking malaki ang chance Nya dahil HRM pala sya. May naging kaibigan akong pinay sa South Island nun andun pa ko, direct hire sya from here sa pinas. HRM Din sya Pero restaurant supervisor ang experience Nya  bale nakapag work na sya sa London and Singapore Pero when she applied sa trabaho sa NZ dito Lang sya nagtatrabaho sa isang bake shop sa BGC. Ok na ok pag ganun kasi bale ang gagastusin nyo Lang pag nabigyan kayo ng job offer ay medical, Tapos yung visa fee which is around $300NZ siguro then plane ticket yun Lang, unlike pag work to resident laki ng gastos Tapos pagdating doon within 6 months kailangan makakuha ka ng work sa field mo dahil Kung Hindi uuwi kang luhaaan. For Filipino nurses, Kung may experience ka na 3years or more you need to pass IELTS na dapat 8 yata ang grade mo sa lahat ng subjects then apply ka sa nursing council pag na approved ka na ng nursing council kailangan mong makakuha ng school for 3 months bridging program kapag may tumanggap na sayong school for bridging program mag aaply ka na ng student visa then yun kapag may visa  ka na puede ka na pumunta sa NZ for the bridging program and you can also work as a care giver while on the bridging program, once nakatapos ka doon ka pa Lang puedeng maging registered nurse and can apply for a nurse position.

Ang mahirap yung makakuha ng school kasi full palagi or I don't know Kung may pulitika na din kasi yung mga agency nakakakuha naman Pero sobrang mahal ng fees na hinihingi nila.

Si fiance HRM grad din, but sa tanker naman siya (cook).
Ako naman nag eencourage sa kanya na mas Aussi kase nga gawa ng course nya. Para magkasama din kami  Andito ako sa SG (not ideal for long term).
