NZ peeps anyone?

hello! pwede po ba [textspeak!] ganito na scenario kapag pupunta nang new zealand:
1. hubby got work and will be on working visa
2. kasabay na nya kami na pupunta dyan. me and 2kids. (ano dapat hawak namiin na visa?)

dito kase sa middle east was nauna sya. they gave him a visit visa. then once he landed here they proceseed it to a working visa( may kasamang residency syempre) and then in 4months nakuha na nya kami. although ang visa din namin from the start is visit visa pagdating namin dito pnrocess na nila agad for residency (kumbaga ang labas dependent ang visa ko since i am not working) same for our kid. mas madami steps/matagal po ba kapag sa NZ?

mga sis who are in NZ, is it true na recession ngayon diyan specially for nurses? yung agency kasi where i applied till now ala pa rin reply nursing council, eh hello naman diba--september ko pa na pass yung mga papers ko...although nabawas na yung fee sa credit card ko...ang sabi sakin, mas mahirap if i'll follow up on my application kasi mapapatungan nanaman daw ng ibang applicants...tas i read nga somewhere na recession ngayon jan.....and another query---yung mga nursing schools ba jan may specific month lang na nag oopen? like example dito sa pinas eh either june, november, april lang...since we have first, second sem and summer? thanks...

halos pareho lang kasi ang process nila ng NZ and australia eh, kapag ang asawa mo eh makakapunta ng NZ in working visa, pede nyang dalhin ang family nya and you will have the same subclass and ang major applicant eh ang asawa mo. makakapagstay kayo ng NZ as long as dipa natatapos ang visa ng asawa mo.

hindi sya katulad ng dubai na pupunta ka muna ng middle east na visit visa den saka ipaprocess ang visa ng family.

^^^sis kaisha, oo recesion ngayon sa NZ naglabas talaga sila ng news about jan.
sa mga nursing schools naman, oo may specific month lang sila nagoopen kasi sa dami ng gustong makapasok as a student visa kung ang pasukan eh january next year august palang fully book na ang mga schools.

^^^sis jc926, oo kelangan ng IELTS and atleast makakuha ka ng band na 7, as in lahat eh walang bababa sa 7 ang score ng reading, writing, speaking and listening.

totoo? may inaaplyan ako sa NZ sila muna gagastos lahat after ng training tapos saka ko babayadan. Aureus yung name nung agency, though magsisimula pa lang ako sa application.

For NZ peeps, my friend will go there having tourist visa and he will stay with his relatives. Ang main target nya is to find a job and eventually tumira na dyan. Wala sya plan mag-TnT pero magtatry talaga sya maghanap ng work. How easy/hard would it be?

teka ang alam ko hindi pedeng i hire ng mga company ang mga nakatourist visa, so much better na magapply nalang sya ng working holiday visa.

i'm in NZ and I knew some people who came here through visit visa and was able to get a job offer kaya na-convert into working visa / permit. May friend din ako na ganun ang ginawa and she's in NZ now for 2 yrs na. Nag-apply na nga sya ng residency pero pina-process pa sa ngayon.

Masasabi ko lang eh swertihan din siguro yung pagkakaroon ng job offer while you're on a visit visa. Lalo na siguro kung skilled at shortage yung skills. May mga company talaga na nagbibigay ng job offer even if you're a tourist. That doesn't happen to everyone though.

hi mga sis, i would like also live and work in NZ. May chance ba ang SAP Enduser/Legal Secretary for a work there? Am currenlty here in Qatar but I really don't like here, it just happened that our regional office transferred here kaya napunta ako dito, we came from Bahrain.  Now am thinking to move to other country together with my family if we are given the chance to migrate.

Kindly advise the possible ways like job offer, seasonal working visa, etc... Thanks in advance :-)

Hi! I have already lodged my student visa application. Would like to know how long will it take for my visa approval, and also what are the possible reasons why applicants get denied? Everything's going as planned but I am still a little nervous as I will be the one who will get my family once my visa is approved. we already got our resident visas last August.  My husband arrived last January 2010 with a work-to-residence visa.  He found a job within 3 months, and after 4 months was given a permanent status.  So, our resident visa was approved.  Me and my two daughters are going to NZ this november.  My husband is in advertising and he is in tauranga, bay of plenty.   Anybody from that area?

hindi naman close sis. much easier nga processing ngayon with them than before. prob now is, though faster ang nursing council approval, wala naman available schools for the bridging program. I inquired just yesterday sa lahat ng schools listed sa nursing council website, and lahat full for 2011 and waitlist na for 2012.
