yung pay rate na nabanggit, ok naman. may mga kilala kasi ako na nasa range naman ang salary base on the given rate.

lahat ng bansa my discrimination talaga sis, iba iba lang talaga ng degree of discrimination. Asawa ko engineer dito, sa Hamilton, NZ machine operator siya.
Ok naman environment nya dun. mababait daw sila sabi ng asawa ko. Di kaya sa pagkakaintindi ni miss mildred hernando yung pay rate na yun ay monthly. talagang malayo sa reality yun. Kasi yung given pay rate ay annual yun. Saka ang bilihin dun may mahal at may mura rin. depende na lang kung anong klaseng lifestyle meron ang isang tao.

May kanya kanyang kapalaran ang tao. Ang nangyari kay juan ay pwede ring hindi mangyari kay pedro.

malaki nga taxes dun pero napapakinabangan naman ng tao di tulad sa tin dito. Meron nga na-meet yung asawa ko na pinoy yung anak nya nabangga ng car. Na-comatose yun ng 3 months yata nasa ospital.Any single cent  wala syang binayaran sa ospital. Ayun buhay na buhay ngayon yung anak nya parang walang nangyari.

Yung flatmate ng asawa ko marami ng bansang napuntahan, like saudi, UAE, USA, Singapore, etc ngayon nandun siya sa New Zealand. Sabi nya sa lahat ng mga bansang napuntahan nya dun nya gustong manirahan kasama ang pamilya nya.   

So may kanya kanyang kapalaran ang tao.

Hi I'm currently in NZ for a month's training lang. My friend works as an engineer here and so far he's enjoying it naman. Same with the Filipinos that I met here in Auckland. [textspeak!] nga kanya kanyang kapalaran lang.

Racism issue: I think kahit san makakaranas ka ng ganyan. But I have never found myself into that situation during my stay here. The people @ my office are so friendly. I can ask anyone here about directions and they'd tell you. Kiwis are nice people in my opinion. Either that, or I have yet to encounter someone rude or racist.

I think everywhere naman there is recession. NZ for example was also affected. I think I'd like to come back here. It's a beautiful place!

what is best way to apply and have a higher chance of getting a job?
i'm not a skilled worker, i have work experience in training and sales.

They say that employers here prefer that the applicants are already here. Try mo muna mag online jobhunt, they will contact you naman if they are interested. Maybe do will do cam interview but if they say that they want u to be here just be prepared to fly. MAs convenient kasi kung andito na applicant.

In my case ganun ang ginawa ko, came here as tourist then apply online... apply lang ng apply... nakailang turn down din ako before ko nakuha yung job ko now.
Konting sacrifice lang. I came here without assurance that I will get a job. Lucky for me kasi recession now hirap talaga hanap ng work.

My friend was lucky enough to get an in-demand job (Structural engineer) while he was still in the Philippines. Suggest nga niya apply ako kasi I was able to get a tourist visa na dati. kaso sabi ko recession. I will wait for 2 more years [textspeak!].

Overall, maganda ang NZ. Very rich and landscapes and the people I met were very nice to me.

sinong nasa hamilton? will be arriving there on july 12 na for my bachelor of nursing (2 1/2 yrs) na schooling. medyo anxious kasi no idea about the place. i will be staying at the ywca since it's the nearest to wintec. how about shopping malls? how far or near are they from where i will be staying? i don't plan to bring a lot of clothes, instead i plan on buying there nlang winter clothes. suggestions naman pls for those in hamilton kung saan nice mamili ng winter clothes and footwear.. thanks!

sa pinas ako bumili ng mga long sleeves,,some are ukay2 but in mint condition,and some of my coats bigay [textspeak!] ng mum ng friend ko from US ka size kasi kami,mahal dito kung dito ka mamimili,kahit 2nd hand sa trade me mahal pa din,pero kung kaya ng budget mo ,,why not diba,,i usually buy clothes at farmers and postie,,,hope this help,,but im not from hamilton
