re:embassy authentication,.i just wanted to make sure lang sana kasi i paid somebody to do it for me, i paid Php10,500 for nz embassy authentication + DFA red ribbon.then i was told that fees at the embassy increased by 150.so i had to send additional 450.

i am also a nurse.modesty aside,how much do nurses make there?i have already lodged my application with the nursing council just last week..will it be fairly easy for me to look for a job there?i worry that i may not be able to find a good job right after the CAP..and are there any sign in bonus with the hospitals there, as in the US?

Hi sis, I'm not sure sa fees ngayon dyan sa Pinas especially kung nag-agency ka. We went here direct kase sis, di kami nag-agency. Nurses here earn around $50,000-65,000 annually or min of $25/hour. You won't have a hard time finding a job here, you might find it difficult which institutions to choose coz you'll have a lot of options once you're here. Don't worry about that, sis. I'm not sure about the sign-in bonus though. We're from Auckland, by the way. Goodluck sa application mo sis.

this early, im sending my application letter already. one institution expressed their willingness to sponsor my CAP.seems like a good deal, right?cz the CAP fees are quite hefty,.but i might have better options when i get there, diba? but the tuition fee of roughly $4000 is a lot of money!what do you think po?

by the way,mga sis, i am a nurse who is currently workng here in riyadh, saudi arabia,im single.. by the end of this year i'll be having my vacation leave and i'm plnning to take ielts in philippines pag uwi ko, sana palarin at makapasa.and the more nabubuo mga plans ko na magcross country. i worked in phili for almost 3 years in a 150 bed hosital at dito sa riyadh nasa out patient ako.

sis, i applied for a job online and interviewed by phone. They hired me and sent me money to apply for my visa. i lodged my visa application in NZ Embassy and after 5 days i got my work visa. By the way , im a civil engineer

sis losinggrip:  foremost, you need the IELTS results.  This will determine whether you are qualified as a Nurse of Health Care Assistant. According to most forums, you need not have any agencies to facilitate your application as you can do it by yourself.  In my case, I do have.  try to visit this link:  http://www.nurse2nz.blogspot.com/.  it has great content.  Goddluck!

Hi, sisters! Question lang, very particular ba sa NZ na you have nursing experience na/and also currently practicing before applying? I have a friend who wants to apply kasi, she has experience na (about two years ata) but has not worked as a nurse for four years, nag-asikaso kasi ng business.

And also, how long does the whole process take for nurses? Like, when you submit your requirements (transcripts, CV, character references, cert. of employment) to the time na lipad ka na to NZ - how long/how many months does it take?

10tequilashots: yes, they are very particular with regards to work experience. you must have at least one year post registration experience..  processing has greatly slowed down in the past months due to the influx of application, since NZ is really indeed, falling short of nurses.  before, it only took weeks.  Nowadays, it can reach as much as 9 months, which is a sad thing

^thank you sis. what does "one year post registration experience" mean? meaning dapat nag-work siya for a year prior to applying? pasensya na, di ako familiar sa terms eh. bale ang situation kasi niya is nag-work na siya for one and a half months as a nurse, but stopped after that. she hasn't worked as a nurse for four years. dapat ba yung one year experience recent lang yun, or pwede kahit years and years ago na? dapat ba currently practicing siya as a nurse?

10 tequilashots:  she should be CURRENTLY practicing as a nurse. they will ask you to provide your history of employment for the last 3 years.  please just check the blog i have posted early on.  you can pick up a lot of important points there.
