Hi mga sis. 2 mos. pa oang ang laundry shop ko. Pero parang ang llit pa dn ng kita. Break even pa din. Minsan abino pa ko. Ano dapat ko gawin para magclick ang laundry ko. May mga regular costumer na ko pero di pa din enough. Lage pa may nagcocomplain na nawawalan daw ng damet costumer ko, tagging system kasi kme sa shop. Tapos madalas may complain na lukot daw mga damet nila. Maayos naman taga fold ko ang problema oag oinasok na sa plastic nakulukot at hundi na pantay pantay. Oarabg gusto ko na mag give up. Pls help mga sis

^sis don't give up just yet. Kung sa lukot ang problema, ano ba intensity ng pagkalukot? As in parang kinalkal ba or what? Kung sa tingin mo tolerable naman, then explain to the customers na they should have their clothes pressed. Pero kung WDP na tapos lukot pa din, tutukan si miss plantsadora. Check mo na din yung plantsa. Hehe. Pero kung talagang hindi tolerable pagkalukot, train your staff more. May tamang technique sa pag-plastic para hindi malukot or may mali sa pagfold. Ako eversince, tutok talaga ko sa proper folding. Pag maganda kasi fold, ang ganda din tignan sa plastic. Kami we never mix clothes kahit na minimum lang. We have a small washer naman kasi. 7kgs fully automatic na LG na din.

medyo matrabaho pero para maiwasan ang reklamo na kulang ang damit, what we do is count before and after washing. bago i-plastic, bibilangin ulit to check kung may kulang.

tanong ko lang, magkano ang charge niyo kung pressing lang? do you charge per piece or per kg?

@RAC i think mahihirapan makasurvuve sa 12k. Bigay lang ako ng update regarding sa problema ko before, June 2014 nagpost ako na  gusto ko ng mag give up. So far so good, yung lang tiis tiis lang medyo matagal kasi at mahirap magpakilala sa customer. Pero now madame na nagpaoalaba compare dati. Ang naiisp ko gawin mga sis, hindi na ko nagtatagging system. We do not mix clothes na. Bumili na lang ako dalawang washing machine na pambahay. So pag konti lang pinalabhan dun ko na lang pinapaikot. Tiis tiis lang medyo matagal ang ROI pero unti unti lumalaki na sakes namen.

kami din we don't mix clothes. mas madali ang system that way. and hindi talaga pwede magreklamo na may napuntang ibang clothes sa ibang plastic.

tanong ko lang sana kung magkano ang charge nyo sa pressing only? per piece ba kayo or per kilo?

Girls, kaya maka net ng 7 to 8 per kilo.

Commercial rate ba ang water bill nyo? Magkano bayad nyo monthly? 4300 kasi ang bill ko this month. Ang mahal!

meron kasi akong alam na supplier ng P&G products like Ariel, Tide at Downy (over run).

P50/kg ang WDP ko, if per piece naman, P15/pc.

still, 30/kg, sa quality kami bumabawi.

pag naka wrinkle free yung dryer wala na lukot yun diretso mo ihanger parang plantsado na, tipid sa kuryente.

pag comforter/beddings/beach towels, ihang  muna ng 3 hours before idryer, saglit na lang yun.\

if rush yung pa laundry, doble the price kase diretso na yun sa dryer.

in business like this, free pick up/deliver pa din pinaka effective na promo kahit mas mataas price mo compared sa competitors.

August  is our peak, even last year, almost 250k gross, average of 200kg per day ang tanggap. not bad.

p55/kilo press only
p50 per piece (actually depende sa ipapa-press na isang piraso lang).
p25/kilo pa rin kami sa wash&fold. hirap magtaas ng price, dami kalaban sa paligid
commercial rate ang water namin, super mahal talaga niya huhu...

sis kolinetongue, franchise ba shop nyo o sarili niyo lang itinayo? ang galing kasi, inggit ako haha 200kgs/day. nag aaverage lang kasi ang shop namin ng 60-85kgs/day. though lately napapadalas na rin ang 100+kgs. mag one year na kmi this october. ilan set ng washer and dryer mo? saka ilan ang staff mo?

@gcarrie- i established it in 2009. 4 dryers, 2 washers, 2 washing machines, 2 spinners. yan lang gamit namin. 6 staff yung regular, then 4 yung pang night shift during fridays, saturdays and sundays.

laki na pala ng shop mo. sana umabot rin sa ganyan shop ko hehe
sis question ulit, pag may mga customers ka nakuha on a regular basis, like catering, or spa, how much do you charge? per kilo pa rin or per piece? and gaano discount binibigay mo? medyo kapa pa ko when it comes to pricing baka malugi ako or mataasan naman customers. before may nakuha kami regular customer na spa naman ang business. kami naglalaundry ng towels nila twice a week. kaso binitawan ko rin kasi ang greasy ng towels nila minsan lugi pa kami sa sabon at paulit ulit na laba. now i'm scouting our area sa mga may catering business, planning to send them proposals kaso di ko pa alam pricing na ibibigay ko.

may i ask how much capital ninyo to start this business?

hi sis, the capital would actually vary like sa rent pa lang if how much monthly and advance ang hihingin sa yo, or if you own the place, mas tipid. but to give you an idea, one set of brand new industrial dryer and washer around 75k (depends what brand and how many sets agad gusto mo). may option ka rin to start the business with second hand machines, around 15k each, again depende kung kaano pa ka-bago/luma. other expenses are gas, water and electrical system, furniture/counter, shop renovation if needed, signage, mga marketing supplies (flyers, tarps, etc), initial laundry supplies. at marami pa hehe minsan akala mo sakto na budget mo but habang papalapit na siya magbukas dami mo pa naiisip gawin.
