i hate pldt.

called them up march for an application, didn't get a call that i'm approved. i applied again sa mismong business center ng first week of may, sinabi na lumagpas na daw pala yung due ko kasi na approve naman daw ako. duh? wala akong natanggap na balita. so i waited for a couple of days. one week, somebody called me up to pay the downpayment which is 1,600. i went immediately to the business center,  which is by the has 10 counters but only 2 reps are present. it took me almost an hour to pay my downpayment which just took me 3 minutes. the rep told me to wait 3 days to one week. ngayon, sa awa ng Diyos, June na, wala pa rin. i call pldt almost everyday and talked to different managers, the prob daw is with the contractor. last sunday, my hubby and i decided to cancel the application and get a refund. again, for 1 hour and 30 minutes, we waited for our turn in the business center at megamall. we got our money back and found out that the problems is hindi pa daw pala naforward sa contractor yung order namin. in short, kasalanan ng pldt. . monday morning, a contractor texted me if i'm at the location kasi they will install na daw. what the heck!!!! pinapunta namin sila para sila naman mabadtrip. when they arrived, alam na nila na cancelled na yung account. they just clarified. yun pala, maling order number ang naibigay ng pldt sa kanila. bad trip d ba? at nangaasar pa  yata.

so ngayon, wala pa rin kami internet connection. =(

naku... stupid talaga yan system ng pldt. walang kwenta. nagpalipat kami ng landline bundled with dsl dahil lumipat kami ng house. nalipat na yung landline pero wala pang dsl. halos mag 2 months na pero wala pa rin yung dsl. tapos nagrereklamo na rin ako sa billing. magkaiba ka pa ng dapat tawagan kapag para sa billing at para sa technical support ng dsl nila ha. at hindi biro ang waiting time kapag tumatawag ka sa kanila. nagiging lss ko na nga yung hold music nila. only to find out na wala pa daw available dsl dun sa area na nilipatan namin. actually, dun sa date na ibinigay sa kin na nireport na walang dsl sa area namin, e parang the same day na nailipat yung landline.  meaning matagal na nilang alam na walang dsl sa area namin. pinaghintay pa ako. pagtapos nun e pinatawag ako sa billing nila so wait na naman ako. tapos sasabihin sa kin sa billing na tumawag daw ako sa technical support nila dahil hindi raw nya mapaprocess ang request ko dahil nakaopen pa daw ang job order nun request ko. ipaclose ko daw muna. aba, lint3k! wag ko na nga tawagan.  bahala sila magayos ng billing nila. tutal wala namang dumarating na bill the whole time na nalipat na yung landline e. ayusin nila yan. ang lagay e ako pa ang mangungulit sa kanila para ayusin ang sisingilin nila sa kin? bahala sila....

makapag-apply nga ng bayantel na internet. makasama na lang sa network si lola techie. mabilis ba ang bayantel internet sa roosevelt area? may malapit na bayantel kasi dito e.

i live in san juan q.c ,just wanna ask sana kung how and where i can apply for internet connection..im planning to acquire their xcite 1995 sana..

hi gf's... share ko lang experience ko sa Globe and SUN

Globe - ang landline provider namin P795/mo last 16th i called them and requested for an upgrade (landline+internet 384kbps) P995/mo tapos sabi ng friend ko medyo mabagal daw yun kaya tumawag ako - same day - nagpa-upgarde ako ulit to P1295 ot P1395 yata 1mbps. TAT na binigay nila sa akin is 5days. i called them almost everyday - siguro sa kakatawag ko eh alam na alam ko na ang spiel nila.so till today wala pa din. i tried to speak w/ their mngr i waited for 30mins sa line wala pa din.

SUN - okay naman ang CS. i went to their shop last night in less than an hour i got my easy broadband bundle..naka access na ako sa IE last night. by the way Pasig-Cainta ako.

happy ako sa smart bro namin, kasi malapit lang kami sa cellsite / tower nila. kaya lang, si husband gusto mag switch sa globe wimax+landline. 1295 or 1395 lang yata yung internet plus landline ng globe. wala na kasi kami landline kaya abi niya yung bundle na lang ng may landline ang kunin namin.

sa multinational village pque kami, alam niyo ba mga sis kung ok ang service ng globe dito? tia!

haynako... eto na. wala daw pldt dsl at bayandsl available dito sa area namin. sira daw ang lines.... what? we're like 2 blocks away from roosevelt ave. at kapag dinere-deretso mo yun andun na ang bayantel office. there's also pldt office before sa munoz. what happened? huhuhu! hindi ko na kayang magtiis sa sun broadband. nababagalan ako. i want a real connection! haynako... ano pa bang iba ko pang option?

We're currently using PLDT DSL and so far ok naman.  But we saw the SKY BROADBAND and CABLE bundle recently.  It will be cheaper for us to get that. Mas mahal ang PLDT kasi.  Pero between the two, which is better regarding service and connection?

i'm very happy with my smartbro subscription. i'm past the 2 years lock-in period and i'm thinking of going for another 2-years. just waiting for a nice freebie worthy of another 2 years lock-in.

^^ i've tried both. sky broadband is faster pero nagpa-fluctuate ang bandwidth while pldt is slower pero it maintains it's speed naman. if you can afford it, it's best to avail of pldt in a higher bandwidth na lang.

PS. sucks ang customer service ng pldt. as in you'd need speaker phone para hindi sumakit ang tenga mo sa kakahintay ng csr na sasagot sa yo. tapos mapuputol pa ang line. magkaiba din ang billing sa technical line nila. hindi pwedeng itransfer. so after talking to tsr and you need to adjust your billing, you'd need to call again. ang result? may LSS ka ng hold music nila. worst is that you'd get your ear burned kung wala kayong speaker phone.

mas matino naman ng 3/4 ang support ng sky. kapag nawalan ng internet for a time being, i'd call them para magreklams. tapos ipapa-adjust ko yung billing.

PLDT sucks! I'm on my 2nd week without connection and the same line yung sinasabi ng mga CSR nila. Memorize ko na talaga yung sagot nilang lahat!! I never had the same problem when I was still subscribed to Bayantel. Too bad walang bayantel in Pasig.

true.  noong una mabilis pero ngayon sobrang bagal talaga ng smartbro!  anyone knows the number of mydestiny cable?  kasi yung number na binigay sa amin, hindi naman natatawagan.  papakabit na kami ng cable with internet.  sana mabilis ito.

sayang wala destiny samin,skycable kami pero wala internet at sa manila lang daw sa laguna wala pa...600 na rin ang cable..

happy naman ako sa dsl/intelco pero sana lang yung skycable namin me internet na kasama, sayang din e doble binabayadan ko iba sa cable at iba sa dsl namin kung sana naka combo na yun sa sky cable

thanks!  sayang, kung marunong lang ako nyan splitter... hehe.     pero need talaga namin ng cable kasi gusto ko manood ng mga movies.  pero sana okay internet nila.  naiinis na kasi ako sa smartbro, laging mabagal na ngayon.  hindi naman ata ito dahil sa location kasi noong una mabilis talaga yung smartbro dito pero lately, bagal-bagal na.

hala, marami pala complaints sa pldt?
i have pldt/dsl for about 2 years na. okay naman. before, nagkakaron ng problema sa connection. 3x a day ako tumatawag sa customer service nila, mabilis naman naaayos. Para siguro manahimik na daw ako.

Sino pa nakatry na ng SKY BROADBAND? Sulit ba at maganda service at mabilis connection?

totally agree!!! nakakainis sila!, I regret subscribing with them.  Dito lang kam sa ortigas pero grabe ang bagal parang wala kang connection, nag test speed husband ko, sabi niya nagbabayad daw kami ng 2mbps tapos in reality hindi naman ganon yung nakukuha naming connection speed, ang daya di ba?! anung pinag gagawa nila sa trabaho at di nila maayos service nila! wala tayong magawa kundi magreklamo at magbayad ng lousy service nila! eto pa kakatawag ko lang pinapa adjust ko yung billing namin kasi may reconnection fee akong nakita called them para magpa adjust sa billing nila sabi sa akin nung cs rep hindi daw sila pwede mag process ng request dahil tumatanggap lang daw sila ng request sa higher billing daw yun! huh? [textspeak!] daw?! labo noh, di sila nagpopocess ng request tumatanggap lang e para san pa at tinanggap nila request?!!!!!!! buset!

^^ ok naman ang sky. they do adjust the billing amount if may mga downtime sila or scheduled maintenance - kaya lang, you have to remember to call them para ipa-adjust kahit scheduled maintenance. otherwise, ibibill ka pa rin nila.

gusto ko na magpalit ng provider. dito kami sa munoz area. sana meron na bayantel dito sa amin. medyo nababagalan ako sa pldt e.
