^^yes sis, about the rebates, sa next billing pa daw ang effect.....

kahapon pinaayos ko sa computer tech. yung pc ko, sabi kasi ng globe yun ang me problema, nung nagawa, ganun pa din walang connection.....he tried naman ikabit yung bayantel, aba, gumana....

eh di tawag na naman ako sa globe....report ulit, pinakausap ko na nga yung technician.....

siyempre sabi, 3 days processing na naman bago me dumating dito na mag-aayos, sabi ko "send them here within 24 hours...."

so, naka-sched na ako dapat pumunta this morning  ng sm-north edsa yun kasi ang malapit lang na globe office sa 'kin, kaso mo  me dumating na technician at ginawa ulit yung connection, nilagyan niya ng dns eh dapat naka-automatic yun....ok na rin at least mabilis-bilis...sana wala ng problema....

hay, ayoko ng magtatawag sa globe...sakit sa ulo...

^lol.. ok lang yan, atleast now ok na,, kinuha mo b yung DNS entries? you should have a copy of that para incase mareset, you can do it yourself na, kesa tawag ka pa sa globe,, hassle.. hehe

Hi mga sis, ask ko lang para sa mga Smartbro subscribers here, on time po ba dumarating ang monthly bill niyo? My March to April and April to May bills hasn't arrived yet kasi, lagi na lang delayed ang dating, pero hindi naman dini-disconnect ang internet connection ko even though pang 2nd month ko na ito without payment. TIA.

A few month ago naman tinawagan ako ng CSR nila telling me I have to pay ASAP pero yung accuracy ng pag deliver ng bills nila hindi nila maiayos ayos. tsk.

^call their CS to follow up for your bills,, baka bago courier nila at naligaw lang yung bills mo,, baka magulat ka bigla ka na lang putulan due to non payment...

^I already did that once sis, pero til now delayed pa rin.  Hindi naman ako napuputulan kasi it's been more than a year already na subscriber nila ako, mag 2 years na, I think on June or July.

Kahit umabot pa ng 3 months, which is the longest time that I didn't pay, di naman ako napuputulan ng connection.

Gusto ko sana magtry ng iba ISP pero ayoko ma-tie up na naman for a year kung lousy ang service. Between Globe and PLDT, which is better, para I'll have reference if ever I decide to switch. TIA.

^girl,AFAIK all the telcos here are giving 1 year minimum lock in period. Standard na sa lahat yun, kaya wala tyo magagawa kung hindi maghintay matapos ang contract term,, PERO if the service is so much pain in the a** we can terminate it w/o paying the pre termination.. kung si provider naman talaga ang may problem.

^ I know that too, nakaka frustrate lang at times. I don't need to pay any amount except for the past months not yet paid kasi lagpas na ko sa 1 year subscription time. Anyway thanks.

^over a year kana right? and you are not still renewing your contract right? clarify it with the CS if your line has an automatic renewal. kasi baka bigla kang itali ng hindi mo alam and pag nagpadisconnect kana,, pre term fee katapat.. tsk tsk

My only concern with Bayantel is also their billing. Wala kami natatangap na bill. So what I did was call them, ask how much my bill then pay sa bayad center. Hirap na kase maputulan ng connection.

^^ I've been told dati that after my 1 year contract is finished, I could get my internet connection discontinued anytime I want to.

PLDT, Globe, Bayan, Sun, ETPI, & Smart

ISP:
sky and pacific internet, cla lang natatandaan ko, smart nga parang considered ISP na din sila kasi parang subsidiary sila ng pldt.. so there, dame pang ISP around here, d ko lang maalala yung iba. pili ka na lang which one is available in your area.

try globe.. digitel din meron sa area na yan,, better ata sila jan kasi hawak [textspeak!] nila yan.

to all: NTC has assigned specific locations to different telcos, so some of telcos can serve specific areas and some are not, pero kung nacover na ng isang telco yung areas assigned to them they can apply for a permit to expand kaya ganun,, merong mga available meron wala sa mga areas naten:)

received a call from globe-billing dept.....informing me about the rebates i will get....she said i will just pay half of the bill next month....not bad na din....

POV ko lang ha, and based on my experience.. hayy naku po ang bayantel!!! pangit ang  internet service nila when it comes to the internet connection via wireless phone.. tapos laging napuputol internet connection... I used to have that before kasi i have no choice and badly needed to get a internet connection....kaya yon.. im speaking for myself lang and based on my personal experience.
ok pldt dsl talaga and fast installation in less than 3days installed na pati dsl. ok din digitel kaso minsan nagkakatalo sila ng pldt sa packages.

the service varies on location din talaga..
