i never tried sun broadband but i heard really good feedback from a friend who tried this. he works in global city. super bilis daw kahit sa you tube. he's raving about it

anyone here subscribed to PLDT 1299 plan (the one with landline + dsl)? it says on their website up to 512 kbps daw. any feedback?

was thinking of getting that instead of applying for a separate line and dsl plan. thanks

^better start applying now..takes about 3 weeks to get an answer from pldt..they will give you an account number and you have to follow up every three days from them..tapos you will find out in the end that puno na ang dsl sa area niyo so landline lang ang pwede nila ikabit! yes..this happened to me

globe broadband super down ang signal all the time!!!! at never silang nag rebate a...kapal talaga....dun sa balak magsubscribe ng globe braodband, better think twice

sis bluemargarita now i'm getting worried. sabi kase nila sa akin 1 week lang. may account number na ako but will call again daw on monday for the job order... oh no. sana what happened to you wouldn't happen to me...

^yes ganyan talaga sa pldt. pinaasa lang rin kami. the first time i applied via phone, meron daw available na dsl. then i was given an account number. then i had to follow up every three days for the status... later they will tell you na meron ng job order..then after three more days...
AY PUNO NA PALA DSL SA AREA niyo, lndline na lang ang mai-install ha ha ha!!! kaka-iba talaga sila!

^i let go of PLDT na sis... bayantel nalang ako. guaranteed na meron na ako phone and dsl by saturday. galing kase may money back guarantee pa sila. walang kahirap hirap pati application ko sila nag hatid dito... try mo sila sis tawagan at baka meron sa area mo. sabi sa akin ng girl naghahabol sila now kase end of the month. may quota pala yung mga yun. try mo hanapin si aida name nya... mabilis kausap sis..

naka plan 1299 ako sa bahay, ang problema lang is may weeks na madalas kaming ma dc. pero ang speed nga na sabi nila is up to 512kbps pero ang speed ko is nasa 1.2mbps kaya solb na, mabilis sya lalo na pag download lang ng kung ano-ano, badtrip nga lang eh bigla ka na lang madidisconnect. nag give up nako sa tech support nila kasi lagi na lang nilang sinasabing gagawa na lang ng report pero wala naman.

asar rin ako sa service ng pldt. twice nangyari samen na nawalan ng dial tone and siyemore wala rin dsl for more than 2weeks. kakaasar lang kase kailangan everyday ka mag follow up sa kanila. tapos ang kunat nila sa rebate. anytime puede ko na i let go yung service nila tapos naman lock-in period ko sa kanila. maganda talaga bayantel kaso pag brown out nga lang wala ka rin landline.

although there were occasional problems... i say 2 years with pldt dsl is by far very satisfactory

cynth_pink - glad you pushed through with bayan dsl. no complaints here since we had our dsl installed. and magkalapit area natin so i'm sure okay din jan
