but here in our area, okay ang smart bro at bayantel. we use bayantel and we rarely experience problem.

I've subscribed to the following ISPs:
1. Meridian / Smart Wifi / Smart Broken
= when it was under Meridian, the speed was always 1.5-2mbps .. when Smart Wifi took over, they basically downgraded and capped the speed at 384kbps (without even informing their subscribers) .. then Smart Bro, the worst ever in terms of speed and CSR/TSR

2. myDestiny
= once of the best ISPs have subscribed to .. 2 years ago, the speed was 2-3mbps (for P999) .. the year after, they downloaded from 1.5 - 2mbps .. today, it's capped at 1mbps (though in their ad it says uncapped bandwidth) .. nice download / upload speed, ok CSR/TSR

3. GlobeDSL
= currently subscribed to them since i'm paying for both DSL and landline.  current plan is 1mbps .. download speed is ok .. upload speed sucks (wish they could increase it) .. CSR/TSR gives the same old crap (pls monitor your connection) and doesn't give you the solution that you need .. they will only act pag nakausap mo na yung manager nila or if you've sent and email to their Customer Support.

either myDestiny or GlobeDSL would be a good choice for me ..

hay naku inis na inis na ko sa globe broadband. i applied for it last november at this may 17 lang kinabit. ok naman siya, hindi gaanong mabilis since 384 kbps lang yung kinuha ko, yung plan 999. then after 2 weeks, nawalan kami ng connection, it was last may 30. at hanggang ngayon wala parin kaming connection, araw-araw na ata akong tumatawag sa hotline nila and they all give me the same answers, na they do apologize for the inconvenience and they will make a report regarding that and may technical problem daw talaga dito sa area namin na mahigit sa isang linggo na hindi parin natatapos. nakakainis na talaga. minsan nga naiisip namin baka dahil within the first month pa kami which is free of charge pa kaya hindi nila pinaprioritize yung concern namin.

Naku Please lang..... WAG NA WAG KAYONG MAGSMARTBRO!!

Laging mabagal ang connection ko.  Isang taon na.  Kaka speed test ko lang, 59kbps!!! i am paying P999 every month for a connection na times 2 lang ng dial up ko dati.

Buti pa ang dial up, P100 20 hours na.  Eto, 999 wala pang 8 hours a day ang gamit.

I'm using globe broadband for 2 yrs. Last november nagsimula na magputol putol yung connection. As in every 5 mins disconnected.

im currently using pldt mt dsl plan  with the phone line. I just have a speed of 40 kbps! imagine parang mas slow pa sa dial up connection. Do you have any tips on how to maximize the speed or to make it faster somehow? Im using vista. Super thanks po!

To check your speed, go to www.speedtest.net then click the yellow pyramid or basta yung recommended server.

or go to www.2wire.com.. Makikita ninyo sa upper right yung SPEED METER.

I'm using Smart Bro din. :D

any Destiny Cable Internet subscriber here? hindi ko sila ma-contact sa techsupport number nila na 841-9393 local 2, lagi na lang busy or nadi-disconnect after ng recording. 2 weeks na kaming walang internet, lahat ng troubleshooting na alam ko ginawa ko, wala pa rin! hindi talaga nagbabato ng DNS servers yung modem!!! nagbigay sila ng advisory samin a few days before mawalan ng connection(pi-nost sa bulletin board ng condo) pero sabi nila, up to 3days lang mawawala because of repairs nga daw. eh 2 weeks na(magti-3 na bukas), wala pa rin!!!!

anyone here who knows any direct # for techsupport ng destiny?

i'm also a very very satisfied bayantel user, mag 3rd year na ako with their service this december.

they have this policy that if they can't repair your problem within 24 hours (basta wag lang natural disaster, exempted yun), they pay you back P500/day. of course they'll do anything not to do that. speed is okay and customer service is very good. their 24hour customer service is really 24 hours. i've called them at 2am and got to talk to people who understand technical problems and know what they're talking about.
