on my wedding day almost 5 years ago, i walked down the aisle to the tune of calico skies by sir paul mccartney. the songs goes, "it was written that i would love you/ from the moment i open my eyes/ and the morning when i first saw you/ gave me life under calico skies/ i will hold you for as long as you like/ i'll love you for the rest of my life...."

we gave away CD-compilations of our favorite songs to our guests, and it included calico skies. a number of people called to tell us the loved the song.
