Mommies Tipid Tips for Birthday and Binyag Preparation

For my daughter's 6th birthday party, my helper, yaya and I just made the flower balloons. Less than 2 hours lang namin ginawa using a manual air pump. We pasted the flowers on the wall using double sided tapes. Kaso super dikit talaga so i suggest you hang na lang the flowers using a nylon string tapos yung end na lang nung string ang i-tape sa wall. Madali lang kasi sa bahay lang yung party. For the balloons, you can buy from divisoria or from toy kingdom. In my case, I bought the balloons from lollipop balloons and from Conistan balloons. Sa lollipop balloons pwede per piece ang bili, sa Conistan per pack kailangan. Meron din silang mga mylars or foil balloons. You can google their contact numbers. 

For the tarpaulin backdrop naman, I downloaded a picture from highschool musical 2 website (free lang yung pag download), edited it using Ulead Photo editor and placed my daughter's picture on it. Saved it using 300 dpi. Hubby had the tarpaulin printed in one of the printing shop here in Pasig for 20 pesos per square foot. May nakita sya sa street talk - yung newsletter sa village namin.  Print while you wait pa so very convenient. I also used the same picture for the invitations. Had it printed at Fuji film in Megamall for 7 pesos each. Bought size 6 envelopes in National Bookstore and placed high school musical 2 stickers in the envelopes.

For the giveaways, I bought high school musical pencil cases at toy kingdom. Punched holes on both sides para malagyan ng makapal na cord string, tapos naging small bag na sya. Inside, I placed pencils, erasers, small notepads, sharpeners, etc. Tapos I bought cloth pouch bags sa Tiendesitas at 10 pesos each, bought candies sa supermarket and filled the pouch bags with candies and other goodies.

Marami ring toys sa Edeng's sa market market. I just went there instead of Divisoria. Pero mas mura parin sa divisoria.

I was planning pa nga to have a kiddie salon. I bought some gels and colored hair sprays @ 70 pesos each sa landmark. I also bought several face tattoos/glitters and hair clips sa market market. Meron din sila nail stickers for kids. My plan is to get a junior hairstylist sa isang local salon, pay her a bit higher than her day pay para ayusan yung mga kids. Or kaya ask na lang my yaya and helper to do it, magaling naman sila mag ayos ng buhok ng daughter ko. Kaso hindi na namin nagawa kasi sabay sabay dumating yung bisita. Nag kulang ako sa planning dito .

lapit na mag 3 yrs old ang youngest ko sa June 14 na kaso tight pa din budget ko , iniisp ko kung sa fastfood na lang, sabi naman ni hubby sa house nalng  para tipis, kaso mga sis sa bahay nga ang hindi ka makatipid lalo na pag me inuman, hay hindi ko naman masabi uwian na walang inuman nakakahiya kasi, include ko pa sa budget ang liquor nilae dba, so eto naman may nakita akong balloon decor sa isang party prang dinikit sya sa nylon string at mukhang samapayan ng balloons maganda din etong gayahin madali lang siguro. tapos try ko din yung balloon burst na DIY.

kung tlagang tight ang budget, pwede kahit wala na nang cake.. or you can find a cheaper alternative, like that of goldilocks, yung always ready for take out na mocha or chocolate cake nila. ako rin lapit na mag give birth. ang plano ko naman pagsabayin ang dedication at ang 1st bday, para mapag ipunan pa next yr.

kung meron naman, anong klaseng program? kasi wala pa ata ako napuntahan binyag na may program kasi dito sa province, usually sa bahay lang ang reception tapos kwentu-kwentuhan lang mga guests...eh ako kasi may venue talaga, clubhouse..tapos plan ko talaga gandahan ang decors & everything..nanghihinayang naman ako kung maganda decors tapos kainan lang mangyayari..hehe..

ah okay...i wanted a baby shower when i was pregnant kaso no one would throw it for me.. hehe...

naisip ko ako na lang din mag-throw para sa sarili ko...may mga games nako and all kaso nagpe-preterm labor ako and i was ordered complete bed rest talaga...so ayun, that was the end of my baby shower dreams.

for kiddie party souvenirs, you can make your own loot bags. put candies,small activity pads, and small toys, inside a party sandwich bag. the content need not be expensive. all kids would love it for sure...

Hi sis joden. I might be late for answering your post pero share ko na din itong na-experience ko para magka-idea din iba pang moms. Yung na-attend-an kong reception sa binyag was pretty much like sa wedding where merong parade ang mga ninongs & ninangs ini-introduce sila while entering the reception room before the grand entrance of the parents and the baby. Then like sa mga debut each of the godparents were asked to say their wishes para sa baby and to present their gifts. And also yung mga iba pang guests na gusto din magsabi ng well wishes nila for the baby were given the floor.
