Allez Hop looks promising. mat pilates lang ba ang trial nila here or does it include their equipment?

... free trial session nila is either mat or with machine (equipment)... pwede ka ata mag request... not sure though try mo po tumawag...

hi xtine1210--i've been going to pilates works at burgundy place, loyola heights since july 2009. it's expensive and hard work (tough love!) but totally worth it. my heart still belongs to yoga but pilates is something you have to do to reach, strengthen and tone ALL the deep muscles you might not know you have, and all the exterior ones too. subukan mo sis

its quite expensive nga thats why I wabt feedbacks muna. Are there a lot of instructors? I inquired kasi and yung rates nila same as b+b studio...

Allez hop! is a bit pricey kasi ang target talaga nila are class A customers especially for their Stretch and Grow program...

@xtine: sa pilates works there's only one instructor--armand bautista, ok naman siya, very encouraging. slave driver though, pero if you do the work, you'll get your money's worth.

if it's near your place try it muna before b+b, baka naman you'll like it. makaka-save ka pa sa transpo. you can observe a class muna to see kung type mo, he can arrange that naman.

^Thanks again sis jessesgirl. If ever I do enroll for pilates I really want to get my moneys worth. Its expensive so I really expect results.

He emailed me nga regarding observing a class first. I might check it out. Are all his class one-on-one thats why its expensive?

Hi. Haven't checked this thread in so long.

I like Allez-Hop. No point of comparison though since it is only the second place where I've tired Pilates and the other was just a one-time Pilates intro na mat class.

I lost over 25 pounds in less than 6 months while doing Pilates and cardio at Allez-Hop. Had to stop late last year because of schedule conflicts. I'm going back this year once I work out my schedule. I also tried the spinning class (killer) and must have sweated off a pound or two.

I like the gym cause it is small and not crowded (because of the scheduled classes and sessions). Walang antayan gumamit ng machine and since it is one-on-one, you are sure that you are performing the exercise correctly not to mention you are really pushed to your limits.

Sa pagkakaalam ko one-one-one lang his classes. I guess that's why it's expensive, and also I guess it's the machines and the instructor's training. Yeah, check it out muna

I miss PILATES! I used to take classes in roces ave. near quezon ave. But since we moved bout 2 years ago I haven't been able to continue my pilates routine. any of our sisses here doing pilates? Please share where and how much? I miss that wellness feeling. Lol

I started out doing tandem with my sister. Then she left the country and I continued with the one-on-one only because I really needed to work out and the schedules of their classes with the exception of spinning conflicted with my schedule.

I like the one-on-one cause I'm really lazy and "mareklamo". Things that would affect the mood of a class. Whereas if it was just me, pahihirapan na lang ako ng trainer to shut me up. :-D
