yup, kaso mag-aantay kang ma-cater ka nila lalo na kung madami din mga patients na mag-papa-approve. pero pwde thru hotline nila, tatawag ka lang tapos ibibigay mo lang yong infos na need nila at sila na mag-aapprove. bibigyan ka ng locator number. yang number na yan ang idadaan mo sa pinaka malapit na office nila sa pupuntahan mong doctor then i-pri-print nila yong LOA (letter of authorization) pag locator number na, no need mo nang pumila.

question mga sis. yugn company namin nagprovide ng HMO, free rin for parents kasi single. pag daw married na, yung husband and kids. since I'm getting married na, okay lang ba na sa parents ko pa rin yung free HMO not to my husband? o automatic yun na ililipat sa h2b ko?

^No sis, kapag dineclare mo na married ka na automatic macacancell yung HMO ng mother mo. Then you have a choice if you want to enroll your husband/child.

Ganyan nangyari sa akin, after 2 years ko pa pinaupdate yung status ko as married sa HR namin kasi pag pinaupdate ko na icacancel na HMO ng parents ko e mas kailangan nila yun kasi sakitin.

Pero now no choice pinaupdate ko status ko kasi ang tagal na di pa updated mga docs ko. Kaya I'm looking sa affordable na rates/packages na health card for my parents. Mahal kasi ng Maxicare kapag individually paying unlike nung dependents ko parents ko under Maxicare.

@ sis ayami, check mo sa plan mo sa medicard di ko sure kung sa lahat ng plans kasali yun. Pero sa plan namin kasama ultrasound, ct scan, etc. naopera kasi ako 2 yrs ago sa medical city sangdamakmak na xray and ct scan before and after operation ginawa sa akin and covered sya sa medicard namin.

sisses, question regarding PhilHealth coverage pag may HMO..

talagang bang hindi na madeduct sa hospital bill yung PhilHealth pag dependent mo yung nahospitalized? me and my 4 year old son are enrolled as dependent sa company HMO ni hubby. we're using Maxicare. para makaclaim kami ng PhilHealth kailangan mag additional Php 1,800/year kami..

eh di useless narin pala yung married yung status mo PhilHealth. hindi na makaka avail kahit na toddler palang yung anak mo..

^sis di ko alam kung bakit ganun. Kasi nung naospital ako, eh dependent lang ako ng asawa ko, wala akong sariling philhealth, malaki din ang nadeduct sa hospital bill ko from philhealth. Tapos yung remaining balance yun ang binayaran ng hmo. And since sobrang laki ng bill ko eh may binayaran pa kami na balance sa hospital

it's abit confusing nga eh. kasi nung February 2012, when my son was confined at the Medical City for 4 days, we were able to avail PhilHealth. I was the one who settled the billing. 7k pa nga [textspeak!] biniwas na PhilHealth then the rest HMO na nagbayad..

Oh well, I'll check na lang with their HR. baka that additional 1,800 that I mentioned applicable lang sa spouse or parents..

^Valucare sucks! that was our HMO before when I was still working.. after a year of their service, back to PhilamCare ulit kami.

suggestion lang sis, kung maginvest ka rin better choose a HMO provider na trusted na talaga. rather than the one na maiinis ka everytime na magaavail ka ng services nila..

madaming HMO company na maganda yung track record.. Maxicare (currently using), Medicard, PhilamCare, Intellicare.. so far, natry na namin lahat yan.. and they met our expectations naman..

hi po. anung magandang HMO for my parents na over 65 y/o. d n kasi sila pwede n maging dependents ko according to medicard dahil sa age limit.

^sis ang alam ko usually talaga hanggang age 65 lang coverage ng hmo. Pero may mga nagsasabi na meron na daw hmo na hanggang age 70 ang coverage. Not sure lang kung anong hmo

any feedback sa Medicard Rxer? it's 1,998 yearly coverage for out-patient and trauma cases.

ano ba okay na HMO. Gagamitin lang for check up at free na sana lab. Current HMO ko sa company is Asian Life and sobrang gamit na gamit ko talaga. Okay din sya kasi di swipe lang sya di gaya ng Caritas daw. Yun nga lang pang company lang sya di pwede sa individual lang. Yung friend ko kasi balak kumuha eh, ano ba okay, yung covered sana lahat. MaxiCare ba okay?
