My HMO is under VAlucare, you may check their website sis to check the accredited hospitals,clinic and doctors.

I also checked in the website for my oral prophylaxis for the accredited clinic, napili ko ang clinic sa ATC (Service Town), appointment was at 5pm, nag start is 6pm(TSK!),and then nakaupo na ako sa dental chair for cleaning, she checked my teeth, then record.

When she is starting to clean my teeth, sabi niya may fee daw akong babayaran na 300php since deep cleaning daw ito, so I told her I do not have cash with me(Kahit meron), then I suggested to do whatever is covered ng card ko. dahil I just used my card last year for the same procedure with different doctor pero wala akong binayad.

So I walked out the clinic, I reminded them not to charge it as oral prophylaxis since halfway na kami nung nag walk out ako, sabi consultation lang ang charge(SUS!dapat wala talaga).

I am so pissed off sa dentist na yun at talagang gagawa ng paraan para makakuha ng pera sa patient kahit may HMO.

under maxicare yung company namin. malaking tulong din yun HMO ko specially ngayon na im pregnant. sagot nila checkups ko

Comp ben yung sa amin sis. Nasulit ko naman last year for the labs and consultation sa OB. Yung sa dentist lang ang medyo sablay kasi di covered prophylaxis, unlike my Intellicare dati kasama siya. Dun namention ng dentist which HMOs they prefer the most. Pero pansin ko lang din, yung mga indemand doctors seldom na nagpapa-accredit sa HMO (tho di ko naman nilalahat). Are we consumers left with the least known medical practitioners? If di naman maganda yung service na ibibigay why pa sila magpapa-accredit.

You guys want to have their brochures where they have the benefits covered? I'm working in an insurance brokerage firm. HMO is just one of our product offerings. We have most of the big HMO companies. 

oh and it's true, if you don't read the fine prints, you might end up short changed.

you can call the CS of the intellicare or better ask your HR kung san yung clinic na pwede ka magpawarts removal. Your HR knows it, kung di nila alam ask mo na lang yung intellicare. They will give you many options naman na convenient sayo

same question. we are planning to get maxicare for our parents sana, pandagdag. is it okay? i've looked into medicard's site din, mukhang okay din.

usually kasi pag individual account yan mahigpit sila.. in my own experience lang ha and being in the medical field. Better consult a doctor regarding dun sa pre existing na rule nila. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THE AGENT IS SAYING!!! kasi kung titingnan mo dun sa kanilang pre existing parang ang konti lang diba... pero pag nagpacover ka na sasabihin sayo ng medical officer nila under yun sa pre existing disease nila. I will give you some disease na hindi pre existing na pwede nila icover: tonsillitis, appendicitis and dengue. Basta yung madaliang sakit lang.. flu siguro pwede pa nila icover... kung may friend kayo na doctor better paexplain kung ano anong diseases yung kasama sa pre existing. Blue cross is quite expensive, but a doctor friend told me na they really cover kahit pre existing yun nga lang mahal talaga.

i want to get for my parents.. meron na ko rates,details etc ng maxicare... pano ba yun kung both parents ang kukuhanan ko? sa family enrollees ba sila or individual? medyo di ko pa alam ang mga procedures sa ganito..

regarding pala sa Lifeline rescue ng SM Advantage, it is very helpful.. kasi accidents or emergencies nandyan lang yan. sobrang mahal ng ambulance sevice ngayon parang its like 2,500 ata.. SM advantage less than 500 lang diba? correct me if im wrong.
