intellicare din kami now. dun sa dating company kung san ako nagwork, nagmaxicare kami dun tas lumipat sa medserv na napalitan kasi maraming nagreklamo tas balik maxicare

wala naman akong masabi sa maxicare at intellicare. hindi ko naman nagamit yung medserv dati.

yup, okay intellicare and maxicare. intellicare offers corporate accounts only though. i've tried using both and no complaints naman.

maxicare ako. i applied for an individual account. ok naman.

may hmo na provided yung company namin pero hindi ko type because the hospitals and doctors that i like are not accredited. I think maxicare has wider coverage at better accredited doctors and hospital. nagbasa ako dito, maganda naman ang feedback.

sis, im also interested to apply for a maxicare individual account.

how did you apply? how much do you pay as your premium? do you have a dependent? can you make your spouse your dependent? also -- once you have paid, are you automatically accredited and can use your card right away for doc consultations and tests (maxicare accredited clinics)?

any update on those who got their senior citizen parents an HMO card?

i am planning to get one as well for my parents - aged 58 and 63 yo. I am eyeing on Icare pero gusto ko pa rin marinig ibang HMOs.

Maxicare Platinum HMO card ko and [textspeak!] sa husband ko naman Maxicare Premium. Deoende naman daw un sa coverage na binabayaran ng company. Samin kasi free cleaning and 6 pasta. Tapos 14 maternity check up pero hindi kasama [textspeak!] mga laboratory na under sa maternity. Tapos hindi din convered [textspeak!] panganganak mo. But you can file for maxicare reimbursement. I was also hospitalized due to preterm labor and hindi din siya na cover ng maxicare. Kainis nga e.

sis my mom has an Ayala Life health card for her in-patient hospital needs. sister ko ang kumuha nun for her, and sobrang nassulit namin because my mom is undergoing chemotherapy. ang pang-outpatient naman nya, Maxicare. i would say sobrang walang problems with Ayala. every time magpapa-admit na mom ko, i just tell my sis when we're about 10minutes away from the hospital; she in turn calls the Ayala Life coordinator para maifax na agad yung LOA (letter of authorization) for the admission. lahat covered - the room, doctor's PF, even the meds. wala kaming binabayaran upon check out (nakaka-4 sessions na kami this year) - thank God kasi almost 60k per session yung chemo.

Ako rin, trying to find a better alternative for my parents' healthcard kahit for this coming year lang kasi magpapa ayos ako ng bahay. Am currently paying around 4K monthly (for 8 mos) under medicard dito sa company. Bale P32,000 silang dalawa and di naman halos nagagamit so might opt for a lower plan muna sana.

diba meron silang pre existing condition na you cant use the card on lab tests after a year ata

mga sis usually po yung pre existing condition ng mga healthcards is really implemented pag individual plan. pag company plan kasi, depende din sa contract ng company. pero usually na pre existing nila ay covered 80percent ng mga diseases. ang sure na hindi covered dun is dengue na biglaan talaga or tonsilitis. pero pag ang sakit matagal yung time niya para magdevelop like for example ulcer. ulcer takes a year or more ata bago magminifest yung mga signs and symptoms niya, pag nagpacheck up ka covered pero admission and diagnostics, di nila iaaprove yun..
