Yung HR namin, hindi na ni-renew yung SPCare namin (ST. Patrick HMO). Sabi, hindi na raw tinatanggap ng hospital yung mga naka SPCare kasi hindi ito nakakabayad ng hospital bills.

we used to be a medicard holder last day will be this sat, then switch na kame sa maxicare, i ilove sana medicard since eto na nakasanayan namin  i called medicard yesterday, kahit sana ako na magtuoy ng individual sa medicard pero hindi pala maco-covered cost of giving birth ko, kasi iba package ng individual, mas maganda daw talaga kung family at bond with the company, iba na ata offer nila packages dun   


any feedback sa maxicare? overall okay naman ba siya?

^ok ang maxicare. based sa mga feedbacks na nakikita ko, maxicare is sometimes even better than medicard.

It will be hard to give you a straight answer for that from all of us here. Iba-iba kasi ang mga naging karanasan at feedback ng mga members natin dito, not to mention that satisfaction can be subjective, so I think the best you can do is read back through the thread, look up the websites of the HMOs mentioned here, and decide for yourself which ones provide the best service package for the rate that you can afford.

^Just back-read sis. But based on my and my family's experience, FortuneCare is a very good HMO. Very comprehensive ang coverage, may kasama pang dental privileges.

^I haven't been to any of the company-owned clinics, pero nakapagpa-dental checkup na ako with our dentist using my FC card. Okay din naman ang service niya, walang hassle. Covered na yung checkup and prophylaxis pero yung other treatments like fillings, braces, etc (depende sa plan) are excluded, but members are given discounts.

I'm planning to apply for an individual account sa Maxicare. Normal lang ba ang ganoon ng case? I mean, kasi diba usually yun iba may mga health card through their company, pero yun case ko I'm applying as an individual account. Na-isip ko kasi is Maxicare na Platinum Plan. Mga P3700 ata ang payment per quarter.
