^^ ok nga din yung maxicare 'cause i have tried this before when my hubby is still w/ his previous employer, maxicare kasi HMO nila. pero now, medicard kami ulit!

Sis, better check kung totoo yang 70% na yan, remember, pre-need companies are getting short of cash na.

I was a former cardholder of caritas. We only availed of their services for a year. Hindi kami masaya. The accredited doctors are ok, but the service of caritas itself, it sucks.

Hindi respectful ang mga frontliners (customer care) nila. Eh, everytime magpapa-check up ka, you have to go there to get an LOA form. Sa isang taon kong kliyente nila, wala akong maalala na kahit isang beses na binati nila ako ng "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon". Yung iba, pag-upo mo pa lang nakasimangot na.

Maraming clients nila ang hindi happy sa service nila (based on dun sa mga nakaka-kwentuhan ko sa mga clinic nila).

I suggest you go for the bigger names in the HMO industry.

^ wow. good thing nabasa ko to. i received a call from caritas telling me that i can get my health card na from them. i was just referred by someone daw. so una kong tanong shempre, what's the catch... they told me wala and i don't even need to bring any form of cash or CCs to go there kasi wala naman daw ako babayaran! until now hindi pa ko nakakapunta sa office nila sa secutiry bank along ayala ave kasi mukang scam!

^i wanna ask the same thing. usually kasi until 60yrs of aga lang ang sa mga HMO eh.

most of my friends have maxicare, medicard, philamcare, & insular... personally, i have maxicare. company benefit sya eh. depende sa card yung benefits.

@ dewj_21 : try to inquire with maxicare & other HMOs. ask mo din yung pedia ng baby mo kung maxicare accredited doctor sya. if you decide to go with maxicare. pati yung hospital or clinic kung saan mo usually ipa-check up yung baby mo. ;p

Hi everyone. Does any of you know where can I apply for a healthcard for my mother who is already 61 years old? I tried to inquire at Medicard, Maxicare and Intellicare but unfortunately, hindi na sila tumatanggap ng new enrollees na over 60 years old. Sayang, kasi may mom needs it badly due to her throat allergy and back pain problem. Naiinis ako sa mga health card at naglagay pa sila ng age limit sa mga enrollees kahit na willing naman kami magbayad ng annual fee nila.
