Are still in Manila? I would suggest na dito ka na lang bumili. Aldo is ridiculously priced in Manila. It's relatively cheap here and mas madami kang option. Yung boots na gamosa ang texture, it's best for fall (pwede din sa winter, pero sayang yan sa snow, mababasa) Usually ang winter boots, yung may lining sa loob like UGG. Pero kahit anong boots naman pwede, depende sa layering at socks na suot mo yan Goodluck!

Isa pang help mga sis... meron ba kayong alam na apartment somewhere in NY, like queens, or jersey city na pwedeng i-rent for 1 month lang... furnished and with kitchen, budget is $800.

 The cost of 1 week stay in NY will depend on which hotel you will stay, food and activity.

Try to go to a hostel so it's cheaper. Safe naman doon kasi puro tourista kayo. Mostly, Europeans.

Aldo boots could cost 90 to 150 dollars, w/o sale.

Just came from NYC and super nice...parang movies came alive ang dating sa akin....even visited the Bronx Zoo and it's really nice...yun nga lang malamig kaya yung ibang animals di namin nakita...

Yep, depends sis where you'll stay and the things you would want to do... We stayed at Marriott Courtyard and paid $400/night. Then watched Chicago, paid $131.50 each. I forgot na how much we paid dun sa Rockefeller's Top of the Rock. Awesome view indeed! Then if punta ka pa sa Ellis Island, you need tons of patience at sobrang haba nung pila papunta sa Statue of Liberty. I think NY is expensive talaga. Kasi my auntie who stays in Virginia was surprised how expensive their foods are. But it's all worth it naman... Kaya save a lot sis para ma-enjoy mo talaga ang NY.

hubby and i plan to go to the US in august (3rd/4th week) of this year.   in our itinerary, our 1st stop is new york.  (our main destination is actually california to visit our relatives but since we are already going to the US, why not go to new york na rin.)

how many days should we allot for our NY trip?  is 4 days enough to visit the main tourist spots?  can someone suggest an itinerary for us?

from NY, what is the most cost efficient way to reach california?  we don't mind taking the train or the bus.  we actually have two stops in california, vallejo and los angeles.

if we have extra funds, we just might visit las vegas.  which itinerary is better,  NY to las vegas to california, or NY to california to las vegas?

I agree, went here twice, the last one parang 4pm na yung sched namin so di na masyado nakapagikot-ikot sa ellis island. when we got to the statue of liberty picture taking na lang sa exterior view, di na pwede umakyat kasi close na. after a few minutes need na din umalis sa area dahil magsasara na din. bitin and inis at the same time kahit na i've been there before kasi yung second visit ko si hubby na kasama ko saka yung sister ko na ilang years ko ding di nakita. but of course sulit talaga, seeing liberty up close.

Hubby and I are going to NY this coming April. We're planning to take the 3 days NY-Washington DC-Niagara tour, kaso di ko alam which tour operator to get, Gotobus or Tours4fun. Read some reviews in the net that they mostly cater to chinese nationals kaya most of the time eh chinese language ang gamit ng tour guide. Baka naman meron kayo ma-suggest na ok na tour operator.
