hmmmm.... museum of natl history sis, andun yung mga dinosaur fossils.  if you know the movie of ben stiller na night guard sya, dun yun and madami pa, tapos meron yung show na about planets tapos may narration na puro stars lang makikita mo and galaxy.  ang met museum, andun yung mga van gogh, degas, monet and arts all around the world (like mummies, knights and others).  ako i went to both.  sayang kasi andun na ko eh. and worth it sila pareho.  if i remember correctly, nung nag met ako, parang donation lang yung binigay ko as entrance fee eh.  hindi fixed entrance fee ata doon.  yung sa natl history ang fixed entrance fee.

guggenheim i didnt like it that much when i was there, puro brancusi art kasi nung pumunta ako, puro bato na oddly shaped, hehe, wala ako appreciation dun.  tapos tinamad na ko tapusin yung buong museum.

Baka mag-Museum of Natl History nalang kami. Baka di ma-appreciate ni boyfriend ang Met eh. I'll have to ask him.

sis are you commissionated? i mean may regular salary mo is 3,500 and you still have a commission?
sis mababa kasi sya to establish life in NYC.. mataas standard don and with 3,500 you cant make it... just my POV..

just spent my summer vacation here. sobrang fun! actually, hindi gano mahal magshopping sa ny especially clothes. wala naman tax and if cocompare yung prices, halos same lang din dito (for same quality of clothes). minsan nga mas mura pa because may mga sales.

tsaka i found a better cupcake store than magnolia. crumbs! super sarap ng cupcakes nila. ang laki pa talaga!

new york was one of our stops in our US trip this summer. i loved every minute of it kahit na may heat wave pa nung time na yon at nasayang ang ginintuang ralph lauren jacket na binili ko dahil akala ko super lamig. haha i loved riding the subway. sobrang lively ng manhattan! nakaka-inlove yung lugar. i enjoyed walking through fifth avenue. and looking at jimmy choos! was able to buy cosmetics from saks. yung mga bags and purses, ndi pa carry ng student budget. kahit na sale pa nung time na yun. central park was everything that i imagined it to be. sarap umupo-upo lang sa benches and people-watch. daming gorgeous papas. haha i enjoyed riding a limo taxi as well as the infamous yellow cab. nakaka-high din tumayo at maglakad sa times square. was able to eat NY's yummy cheescake at roxy's and get a slice (or 2...ok, 3) of pizza. we even got to enter david rockafeller's office at rockafeller plaze c/o of my tita's husband who is mr. rockafeller's security officer. was able to ogle at van gogh, picasso and cross paintings! and the view from top of the rock was breath-taking! thew chows were very yameh. hay. how i wish i was there now. kakamiss!

truly... youre gonna miss nyc.. no place like it.. iba talaga experience.. and once youre there, you have to experience all sorts na... cheesecake is really one of the best and if you wont try it, you missed half of your life hahaha...yah right, ok just staying in a bench and enjoy sight-seeing w/ the passers by hahah..

You could work in new york but live in new jersey.  mahal masyado rental cost sa nyc at the same time yung standard of living in general unlike in jersey.  My cousin who is the finance director of Mt. Sinai Hospital still opt to commute from jersey to new york so they could save up kahit kaya naman nila.

^h&m 5th ave. branch! shopping heaven! forever 21 too. you can try gap just because there's always something on sale. SoHo is not really that cheap but you can find unique and really stylish stuff there.

if you can go for a drive, woodbury commons!!!

Shopping heaven ba? Feeling ko I'd be outside Tiffany every night gawking at their jewelry. Good thing the hotel we booked is nearby, W. 54 St and 5th Avenue. The location seems great. I hope the hotel is too.

Woodbury Commons might be out of the question 'cause it's a bit far.

We've decided against Soho too. We just decided that shopping will just be a plus. Primary objective is sightseeing and dining. Hello Morimoto!

You know what I want to have with me in New York aside from more money? An extra pair of feet! Kung pwede lang talaga!

^^ for me kasi it's the best branch of h&m. puro good stuff talaga. unlike in other branches na medyo magulo.

if you're oing food tripping, try the shake shack! it's only open during spring and summer!
