Well if there's a factory here I haven't seen any of their surplus lumalabas anywhere.

El Salvador pala yung country.

Pati camelbak daw eh dyan ginagawa, pero nung huling dalaw ko sa Pinas, medyo wala akong nakitang "surplus." pero nagtanong tanong ako dito, nasa bataan daw ang factory. if you guys know anything about camelbak lemme know.

where's this R.O.X. located?

I wear leggings (black) or jogging pants (I'm not comfortable ng naka-shorts). Yung top ko naman is light colored shirts. I avoid gray color kasi very obvious yung traces ng pawis mo sa buong katawan.

Nako I wish den may magpasok na dito ing Under Armour, I love this brand. May kamahalan lang but worth it naman.

In the meantime Nike and Adidas' Climalite works well. Btw, Nike has outlets down north, Starmills Robinsons, Subic, etc.

yep worth it ang Under Armour, sa sampayan pa lang, ang bilis matuyo compared to other moisture wicking brands.

nope, theoretically, they should wick away sweat and make the sweat evaporate faster.

if the rate of perspiration is larger than the rate of evaporation, then your "dri fit" will be wet.

parang relo yan, waterproof nga. but only to 200 meters. pagdating ng 300m, implode!

there are two kinds of wick aways. one wicks sweat by the kind of fabric and how it was woven. the other would be thru chemical treatment. (chemical treatment degrades with use)

draw back din ng mga technical fabrics is bacteria can build up sa fabric/fiber if not washed properly with the correct detergent. so this can also be an angle.

yung iba shampoo ang ginagamit sa pag laba, but shampoo still has surfactants and doesnt kill bacteria.

the most effective detergent for technical fabric is yung tinatawag nilang Sport Wash. it does not have the "unwanted chemicals" sa typical detergent, but cleans very effectively.

second best is the mildest shampoo.

may brands with anti bacteria thingie...

ex. Under Armour Metal vs ordinary Under Armour

usually eto ang nagpapamahal

i use anti bacteria spray on my shirts. good daw up to 24 washes. so far so good, compared nung time na hindi ko sila na sprayan.

nung wala pa akong spray, hindi bumabantot yung compression shirts.

hehe,

actually, a friend of mine told me that he's using original 5.11 tactical shirts. (may fake kasi) It's made of cotton yet spun in a unique way that it wicks moisture yet retains the comfortable feeling of cotton.

When any wicking fabric gets wet, as in soaked, it stays soaked but it's not uncomfortable sa skin like cotton would cling at mabigat. Yun nga lang if it's thin it's cold naman if naka a.c. ka. I also like Champions dri-fit cotton tee, maski basa ng pawis hindi mabigat ang feel.

For washing technical fabrics like this I just read sa newspaper to pre-soak muna the garment in some baking soda, then wash as usual. This really works! I handwash my Champion sports bras and na tatanggal ang smell.

My bro was able to buy me sa States 2 UA Tech Tees and one 7" compression shorts. The shorts are for summer pa at walang a.c. kasi gym ko.

A tip if you're panning to buy their shorts, if your short or your legs are short like mine, go for their shorter lenghts. They have them from a teeny 2.5"-7". I would prefer the 5" for me, the 7" is a bit long but the fit is perfect.

i guess when its cold, better use Cold gear, UA wise

maganda ang gym na walang a.c. good for the body too. for me a real gym should not be cold but should be on the hotter side.

I'm happy naman with the compression stuff. mabilis talaga mag dry once pawis na pawis na.

too keep warm, sometimes i wear 2 garments, compression and a loose long sleeved UA shirt. mainit naman..or baka ako lang yun. hehe

i'll try that baking soda trick.so far, ok naman ang sports wash cheap naman siya.

wala pa naman akong stench issues with UA. maybe the anti bacteria spray that i use is working. kasi i use them sa shoes ko (insides) and socks. works beautifully. shoes na yun ha. kaya pa niyang pumatay ng e.coli. so i tend to believe yung claim na one application will last numerous washes.

sisses and bros.. what if cold ang temperature sa gym?  is it proper ba na magsuot ng jacket while exercising?  kahit kasi 30 mins na ko sa threadmill hindi pa rin ako pinagpapawisan... then one time may nakasabay ako... she was wearing this jacket kaya ayun todo-pawis talaga sya...

yups. you could do that sis. kaya ang tawag sa sweat shirt, ay sweat shirt and sweat pants, ay sweat pants. sa cold countries kasi, once tumigil ka, just for a few minutes, lalamig na katawan mo.

if having a jacket would suffice then use one.

^^ Yup I sometimes use a jacket inside the gym. The AC is just too cold sometimes, and when I exercise, I want to feel the sweat coming out of my skin hehe.

It also helps having a jacket when I dance. My boobs, at least, are not jumping all over the place hahaha. I have a big chest kasi, so even with a very good sports bra, my boobs are still noticeable. Nakaka-conscious minsan gumalaw-galaw.

:) May sale ata the other day sa nike bonifacio highstreet.  I saw a bunch of people with nike bags.

I'm starting to love PUMA narin.  If I'm not mistaken, connected din sila sa Nike, and hindi sila nagsasale.
