^Yup sis I am. I posted the timelined for my parents petition on Page 95 Reply #1899.

What I meant na matagal kasi we want them to be here when we move here the first time since hindi pa pwede until I become a USC before I can petition them, kaya it feels matagal. But actually the processing was fast, it could have been much faster pa if nagmamadali kami but everything is okay naman sa pacing nila. Just what we needed.

So base on the timeline, it looks a year lang yung process.

Question, coz i just paid for my sister's IV Fee bill because na consider pa sya as CSPA but biglang nag retrogress what will happen? coz as per our CSPA calculation till June this year nlng sya if not over age na.

yung bestfriend ko, F2B, she got the first letter from US Embassy on 2/17/2010. Her trip to US is on 2/26/2011 na. So in her case, 1 year.

si h2b kasi may pending petition sa US, sa tancha nya by march bumaba na (sana Lord).  ang naka scedule na wedding namen is june 2011.  ang sabi nya sa akin mag apply na din daw ako ng tourist visa para sabay na kame pumunta dun for 2-3 weeks lang naman for him lang to fix some papers tsaka kame babalik dito para ayusin wedding at syempre ma settle din muna mga dapat gawin dito sa manila like work etc.  ang sabi ni h2b kasi gusto nya pag ok na yung petion ko tsaka kame pupunta dun ng sabay tsaka mag settle ng buhay dun.

ngayon medyo nalito na ako kung [textspeak!] ba gagawin, hindi din kasi ako makakilos ng hindi malinaw bagay bagay.  may mga new options kasi na lumabas.
1.  apply ako tourist visa, sabay kame punta dun, dun kame papakasal muna para daw mas mabilis ang pag ayos ng petition nya sa akin.  medyo hindi ako kumpyansa dito kasi natatakot ako apply visa kasi baka me deny ako. plus gusto ko talaga dito sa pinas pakasal e.
2.  pagbaba ng papel nya, lipad sya dun for 2-3 weeks para ayusin papel nya at balak na din daw nya apply fiance visa ako (na hindi pa din sya sure kung uubra), babalik sya dito para naman ayusin wedding namen dito pinas at iba pang bagay tsaka na kame pupunta dun ng sabay pag bumaba na yung papel ko.  gusto kasi nya na after wedding, if God permits na biyayaan kame agad ng baby, dun na daw ako manganak sa US.

[textspeak!] po ba ang mas ok na option or baka may ma recommend kayo better option.  alam po ba nyo gaano katagal bumaba ang petition nya sa akin as wife? o fiance visa?

^^ parang these days or any other era , mahirap tanchahin ang priority dates. karamihan sa amin dito nagkakamali esp nag retro ang PDs. take note, your h2b is under petition as single in status. but who knows, like what others are hoping, mag advance ng husto ang PDs. yes, fiancee visa is for US citizen, meaning the petitioner is.

mga sis.. dito nako sa U.S.. thanks for all your help..  medyo malungkot kasi nalayo ako sa family and friends whom i've spent my 26years in the phils with. but happy at the same time buo na yun sarili kong family..

on a different note.. di ako nagbayad ng travel tax.. i dunno if it was already lifted or nagkaron ng automatic exemption..but im glad kasi nakabili pako ng dollar using the money intended for travel tax

Hi mga sis! good i found this thread question lang mga sis,this year kase 3 years na ako dito sa U.S,and my husband told me that if your a spouse of a citizen,3 years lang at pwede kana mag apply to become a citizen,ask ko lang,once you apply for a citizenship how long it will take ba?aabot ba ng year?i'm looking forward to it kasi,para pag citizen na ako i can petition my parents na,super miss ko kasi sila lalo na mommy ko at gusto ko na sila makasama,and one more question,once na approve yung petition mo sa parents pwede ba nila isama yung underage na anak nila?i have one sister kasi she's only 15 years old at the moment,

BTW my husband petitioned me noon CR1 Visa (Conditional Permanent Residence) inabot ng almost 2 years bago dumating ang visa ko,but when i got here,i already had my greencard and sss no.right away last year we apply again to remove my conditional status,and na approve naman,so looking forward na lang ako for applying my citizenship, i try to backread and nakaka relate naman ako sa mga ibang sissies natin dito nung nasa ganyan stage pa lang kami noon ng husband ko,nag  aapply pa lang for petition,Goodluck mga sis,and just a bit of advice,basta pasensya lang talaga sa paghihintay at pag asikasiso sa mga papers,and kapag may kailangan na documents agad niyo asikasuhin para mapadali yung transaction,and just PRAY lang palagi

sis unpredictable pa visa bulletin ngayon...case complete na nga parents ko kaso yung interview pa hindi makausad dahil sa retrogression....pinakamabilis as far as i know is fiance visa mga 6months - 1 year lang yun pero US citizens lang entitled dun pag mga petitioned option nalang nila pakasalan yung w2b or h2b nila dito sa Phils....hindi naman kayo pwede magpakasal kasi ma vvoid yung petition ng h2b mo or if hindi man mas tatagal like what happened to my mom...mga 15 years roughly hinintay natin bago ma receive yung letter then it retrogressed again so more or less 15-20 years pang married sons/daughters of american citizen...

if ever maging okay na yung petition niya and makapunta na siya dun, it will be as immigrant (I think, but correct me if I'm wrong .
bago ka niya mapetition, he needs to get his green card and SSN first. then find a job.

pag sumabay ka sa kanya as tourist at dun kayo magpakasal puwede naman but search ka muna kasi case to case yan... here's an article...

@khat, mabilisan pag nag apply ka ng Naturalization/Citizenship. Process takes 3-5 months. If I pledge after my test, the process took only almost 3 months. But since I waited for them to schedule me with all the others who will pledge also, it took 5 months. And yes, if you are married to a US citizen, you can apply for a naturalization after 3 years of being an LPR and married to the same guy that gives you the LPR status.

@ato, maybe once your hubby to be arrived here in US, he can come back there in PI, marry you and apply for a spousal visa.

Your hubby to be can't file for a fiancee visa bec he is not a US citizen yet.

And if gusto na talaga ninyo magpakasal, then the petitioner of your hubby should call USCIS that the category of the petition has change. Hindi na cya single but married na. Then once his petition will be current, he can add you on the papers so when he goes, you go too. Sabay kayo.

@socxymom, if sign in failed na kayo sis that means case complete na kayo sa NVC. Just wait for a day or two then you will received an email from them or if di mo ma tiis you can call NVC. Good luck sis.

sis thank you so much for the info,natuwa naman ako at 3-5 months lang pala yung pag apply ng citizenship,i thought maghihintay pa ako ng matagal,nabasa ko rin yung post mo regarding dun sa parents petition,na take note ko nga iyong mga details para may idea na ako once i petition my parents,ask ko lang ulit once na naging citizen na ako,can i petition right away?kahit kaka approve lang nang citizenship ko?or do i need to wait a certain period of time?thank's ulit sis,it help us a lot

^You're welcome sis. yes 3-5 months lang super bilis talaga ng process. No need to wait sis, Once na ka pledge ka na on that day you can file your petition on that same day for your parents din.
