Yes sis, F2A ang category namin, our Pd is Jun 2008.
The problem is my son's birthcertificate.

OT: Mga sis ask ko lang kung may thread ba here for birthcertificates? Need ko sana ng advice about that.

mga sis..kailangan ko ba ng NBI clearance sa flight ko? baka lang kasi hanapan ako..problema ko mali yung birthday na naka indicate dun sa bago kong NBI clearance.. makakalusot na kaya yun? thanks

@prettysummer, hi sis does your son's B.C. needs correction? Wrong spelling bah? What you can do is go to the civil registrar and report that his spelling is wrong you need to present at least 3 evidence of these. Like Baptismal Certificate, School records etc that has the right spelling. Tapos they will send it sa Manila for correction. It will take like a month or so. Then you will receive sa mail pag na approved na. You spend like 1K+ for that but iba pag need a court order mas mahal kasi.

Yan kasi ginawa ng parents ko to correct their Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificate. Haayyy sobrang stressful yun sis. Yun sa papa ko kailangan talaga Court order sa correcting sa B.C. nya.

^@cherry*coke,I think you can go to NBI and tell them they gave you a wrong one sis. Yung DOB is wrong. Though hindi naman nila kinuha yung NBI ko when I flew here. Ang copya ko lang eh yung personal copy kasi USE Manila took it during interview. But this was 5-6 years ago so I don't know they change ba nila ang patakaran nila...

sis cherr, share ko lang din experience ko dito ha..kasi sa pagkakaalam ko kung ano yung nakalagay na info. sa birth certificate mo kailangan ganun din sa NBI mo..for example DOB,POB..kasi nong pumunta ako ng israel pina- correct ng consul NBI ko kasi mali ang POB sa Birth certificate and NBI ko.. kung ako sa iyo sis get a new one na lang to be sure makukuha mo naman kaagad :)alam mo naman mga consul matalas mga mata..hehe...

@sis lyn.. :)yeah sis US citizen father ko also my grandfather(retired US army)...way back 1982 sumulat grandpa ko sa US embassy in manila para ma register kami as USC and request na din for a US passport...(shempre pinadala na din birth certificate namin) but dunno what happened then, ang nangyari binalik nila ang letter ng grandpa ko tapos naka-stamp duon sa letter na received (date) pero walang advise if what next pwede naming gawin? 

tapos in 2004 sumulat kami uli sa US embassy re:Application for U.S. citizenship for an applicant 18 years of age or older.. tas after that pinadalhan kami instructions ng mga docs needed namin i-submit sa kanila kasama na yung letter ng grandpa ko na binalik nila pero parang hindi nila binigyan attention yun... '

so eto ang result:

problem kasi sis father ko hindi continuous stay sa US.. :(pabalik-balik lang ng pinas ginawa nia before...nag stay longer lang sia in the US for 7 years when he was in the service pa, 7 years lang in the service coz of honorable discharge nagka problem dun sa ear drum nia...tas another lately naka 8 years sia continuous din yun...'

so kaya siguro hindi kami pwede sa citizenship coz of that reason..sayang ano?sis, gusto ko rin sana uli mag ask sa embassy regarding dun sa letter ng grandpa ko kasi sabi nila wala daw silang natanggap na sulat eh bakit naka stamp naman dun received?ang gulo sis ng situation...do u think may chance pa kami?ano kaya pwedeng gawin sis?

@sis kay_olive... naisip ko nga din yan sis kaso kahit US citizen father ko at birth hindi pa rin ppwede kung may kulang na isang requirements...ang gusto ko lang malaman sana ang sagot duon sa letter ng grandfather ko sa embassy? $300 kasi consultation ky gurfinkel may alam ka ba na lawyer sis? TIA

Regarding sa medical exam @ St. Luke's:
Is there an additional fee if you get the required vaccines right there during the medical exam? Or kasama na yun sa $214? I read somewhere kasi getting it there is INCLUDED in the fee.

I dunno which is better kasi, to get the vaccinated elsewhere (if its excluded in the med exam) & just present the records/med cert on the day of the exam. Meron ba kayo idea approx. how much all the required vaccines cost?

^kasama na yun sa fee. they gave me 2. they did not ask for any medical record, tinanong lang kung nasan yung scar ko sa chicken pox.

thanks sis lyn and kuruga.. pinaayos ko lang kasi yun NBI clearance ko sa kakilala.. ang sabi..dapat daw binalik ko within the week na nakuha ko siya.. kasi daw ang mangayari..papagawa nako ng bago.. ewan ko kung niloloko lang ako nito.. kaya lang kasi hassle talaga kung ako mismo pupuntang NBI para magpagawa.. dami ko pa naman ginagawa ngayon.. eh siya ang charge niya is 400 then wala ka ng gagawin.. kaya lang medyo nghihinayang ako sa 400.. haha! pang ilan bes ko na kasi nagpagawa.. pwede kaya photocopy lang? nasa kin photocopy nung una and accurate ko na NBI clearance eh.. thanks

^It's better to get the right and correct one sis. IMO...Madali lang naman ngayon kumuha ng NBI clearance eh.

If you want dalhin mo yung photocopy when you went to NBI. So may reference sila. Usually kasi yung personal copy mo e-sc-scan lang nila then print out another one.

sis alam ko hindi pwede ang photocopy ng NBI kahit renewal..kapag wala kang mapakita na original copy new application ka na ulit...ganun kasi nangyari sa tita ko last week lang siya kumuha...

hi mga sis! help naman!nag advance medical kami ng baby ko pero diba naabutan kami ng retrogression kaya andun yung passports namin.i wonder if pwede kaya kunin ko muna yung passports namin kasi balak namin mag lamyerda muna.been trying to call st.lukes pero laging busy eh..huhu.help naman!

nagpamedical kami nung oct.28.september 28,2010 case complete na kami eh,so kala ko lalabas na interview date namin.our PD's 31jan2008.eh i never thought magkakaroon ng retro nung time na yun,pero carry lang.still thankful and excited.mapapaso ang medical namin sa april 28,2011. kaya feeling ko mapapaso.palagay nyo sis,makukuha namin passport namin noh?

ang alam ko sis kapag may appoinment letter ka na, para sa medical at nakalagay na dun, kung kailan ang interview date mo.
