F2A retrogressed on JUL 2001 and was back on OCT 2001 -
retrogressed again on JUN 2006 and was back on OCT 2006

so hopefully, ganun din mangyari sa 2010 retrogression. goodluck sisses!

Thanks Sis Septembernine for the info. Somehow nakaka-lessen ng lungkot. I just hope that same trend happens to the current retrogression or mas bumilis pa sa 3-4 mos. waiting before bumalik sa dati. hehe! We are about to file on January 2011 and my hope is high na magkakaroon ng linaw ang application namin by end of year 2011 until the posting of January Visa Bulletin.. hayys.. kakalungkot talaga.

Ako din sinulat ko pa talaga into column yung trending ng visa bulletin at marami ngang instances na nagretrogressed sya at yung iba months ang itinigal,yung iba naman years.
Nakaka-disappoint lang talaga kasi yung dilemma of waiting,every month hopeful tayo na maayos na yung visas natin,tapos di pa pala,then wait for the next month,tapos ganun pa din. parang ang hirap mag move-on,kasi naka-set na yung mind namin na makakaalis kami ng 2011.
Anyway,we can't rely on the visa bulletin every now and then, i just have faith to believe that God can do the impossible. Iniisip na lang namin ng hubby ko na after all those years na di na sya nagexpect sa petition tapos biglang sumulpot uli yung petition na naaprub na pala, we just believe na He has plans for us.

How long does it take for an Adjustment of Status from an H1b visa to a marriage based green card?  Does it take about 3 months from filing to getting an EAD?  Trying to figure out our time line for filing so I won't be out of status (my h1b is valid til June 2012).  Also, I read that if one applies for permanent residency < 2 years from date of marriage, it would only be a conditional PR vs. if you wait til after 2 years of marriage for a 10 year PR status.  Is this pretty much accurate?

hello! So may retrogression pala for this month's bulletin. Will it affect kaya ang mga cases na currently nasa NVC na?

I just submitted DS3032 and paid AOS fee.

heto rin yung parang di mo alam kung ano ang pwede mong i-prioritize kasi may naka-abang or nakabitin sa buhay mo. kaya siguro habang naghihintay, gumawa na lang ng ibang solid plans. anyway, matindi pa rin ang US recession. like everyone here, i have faith that US economy will become better though brazil, russia, india & china are starting to boom.

when my petition was approve in 2001 under F1 category PD na pina process ay 1988, 10 years ago 1994 pa lang... so meaning in 10 years time 6 years lang movement ng PD...

but now na under F3 category na ako mas lalong tumatagal pa

from the latest visa bulletin bumalik ulit...oh well bakit yung mga illegal (no offense) like mga nag tnt dun bibigyan ni obama ng green card (not sure kung totoo na o rumor padin), bakit hindi nalang kaya i speed up yung application ng mga naghihintay na kamag anak dito...hindi nalang nila naisip yung sacrifices na malayo sa family...10 years of waiting or more means a lot...

kami nga F4 eh mga sissies eh...  baka may mga apo na kami wala parin PD namin. Our PD is dec 1996 and for this month, bumalik to 1988 from 1992. Sad ilang years pa kaya, another 10?

akala nga namin continuous na ang pag leap ng PD eh un pala may backlog uli... isip na nga lang ako ng ibang options kaysa maghintay pa.. ewan ang gulo...' kaya nga i-print out ko later ang cut-off-dates sa PH starting sa FY 1998-2010 pag aaralan ko..

sis jaymien, re:immigration reform(bringing families together) reduce the backlogs for family-based immigration visas in order to reunite to families who are currently separated by waiting lists for years or even decades. just read the article but hindi ako marunong mag link...

thought this bill applies to us...

a post from another forum.. haaay...buhay. so kahit nainterview ka na or may interview sched ka na, if your PD is not current, you still have to wait.

my friend had her interview today, the consul says that she's affected by the retrogression so she have to wait for her PD to be current again before they issue the visa. her PD is Nov, 2000.
