hello mga sis!wala pa din kaming natatanggap na email from nvc mga sis.huhu.nung sept.28,2010 pa kami complete.i visited manila us embassy site and ito new update under immigrant section, "CHANGES TO THE IMMIGRANT VISA SERVICES

Effective December 1, 2010, various changes to immigrant visa services are as follows:

Immigrant visa applicants whose appointments have not been scheduled through the National Visa Center (NVC) (i.e., immigrant visa petitions approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services Manila) may request a visa appointment by visiting the U.S. Embassy in Manila’s Visa Information and Appointment Service online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph or by calling (632) 982-5555.  The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on U.S. and Philippine holidays.  Callers in the U.S. should call (214) 571-1600, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time). Callers are able to speak with an English-, Tagalog-, Ilocano- or Cebuano-speaking operator." ano kaya ibig sabhin nito???ang tagal ng schedule namin.huhuhu

^from what i understand..parang ikaw mismo magrerequest ng sarili mong interview.. kasi kung sept 28 ka pa case complete..dapat talaga may interview appointment kana by this time.. kasi kami sept 21 na complete case namin.

sis cherry,nabigla naman ako sa reply mo,super duper fast!thanks!napasaya mo naman ako.hehe.anyway,talagang dapat tumawag na ko sa embassy mismo?kasi,everytime na call ako sa nvc lagi nilang sinasabi unfortunately hindi daw kami umabot sa interview for the month of chuva...pero sis,nung pumasok naman ako sa site na ikinabit nila dun sa last pos ko,eto naman ang tumambad sakin : This appointment system is intended for eligible applicants who have
not yet been interviewed, or who were not able to meet their original
appointment dates. 
If you meet ANY of the following conditions, you should NOT
schedule a visa interview appointment:
(A) You have been interviewed and refused an immigrant or a K
visa.
(B) You are the principal beneficiary and have failed to
reschedule your visa interview appointment within a year
from the original appointment date.
(C) You are the principal beneficiary and have failed to contact or
communicate with the Embassy for more than a year from the
time you were informed that your case is ready for final
processing.
(D) You are a K2 derivative applicant and have failed to apply for
a visa within a year from the time of the Principal
Beneficiary’s visa issuance.
(E) Your case is not current for processing based on the current
cut-off dates. For more information about priority dates and
cut-off dates please click here.
(F)You have yet to submit the required documents either to the
Embassy or the National Visa Center.
(G) You have yet to receive a notification from the Embassy or
the National Visa Center regarding your eligibility for
scheduling an interview.
If you schedule an appointment, and any of the above conditions
apply to you, you may not be interviewed, even if you present yourself
at the Embassy on the scheduled date.
If you are not certain whether or not you are eligible to schedule an
appointment using this system, you may speak to our representative
at the call center who will assist you with your scheduling concerns.

^^parang none of the conditions mentioned apply to you.. pwera na lang yun letter G which i'm not so sure din..kasi case complete ka naman na..so that makes you eligible right? give them a call nalang sis.. you got nothing to lose naman..  goodluck! sa Manila embassy ka nalang tumawag sis.. baka kasi pag sa NVC ganun ulit sabihin sayo.. hehe

the visa appt changes just sent many of us into confusion. nalito din ako. haha anyways, sabi nung iba the changes doesnt apply to f2a. we still have to wait for the notice from nvc. it applies to categories like k1, expedited cases and dun sa nadelay because of medical at kelangan magresched.

^i see.. that makes more sense.. ikaw ba sis wala pa din? siguro inuna lang yun sakin kasi 2007 pa PD.. dapat mga august pa kami nakaalis.. kaya lang na delay kasi saka pa lang ako kumuha ng passport kung kelan time na to submit the ds230.. on top of that, na RFE pa kami..

sis cherry, wala pa akong interview appt. aantay pa rin. malaman kung ano yung changes na sinasabi nila pagnaka receive ako ng instruction from them. hehe

naku mga sis,wala din akong idea sa mga pingagagawa nila.naiinis nako samantalang tagal-tagal na naming case complete.hind pako tumatawag sa embassy kasi wala kming landline.i might try to call them later.kelan ba kayo na case complete?kami sept.20,2010 pa.may mga nabasa ko sa visa journey na yung iba,inunahan nila yung email ng nvc.basta malaman nila na eligible na sila for interview,nagpapaschedule na sila...
