hello mga sis! i have questions po and i know mabibigyan nyo ako ng linaw sa inyong makakaya.anyway,our i-130 was filed (f2a) nung feb.29,2009 and last friday (nov. 27,2009) i saw nasa post-decision na-approve na daw ang aming petition and received an email at the same time na they sent us a notification mail (notice of approval).ano kaya ibig sabihin nun and ano kaya nkasaad dun?and if they sent it on the 27th,gano ko katagal bago ko mareceive ang mail nila?would they give us an appointment (interview,medical,etc.)?hay,maloloka nako!huhuhu.thanks in advance mga sis!

tignan mo posts ni rcnj, cha-cha and municat. they all posted their timelines since nakuha nila yung approval nila. an average of 1 year at palipad na sila ng US.

hello ulet mga sis! i forgot to mention pala,my hubby is an LPR til now,he filed for our I-130 (f2a) Feb 29th 2008 and got NAO2 approved online on the 27th nov 2009.hmmmm,mejo mabilis noh?hay,mga gaano pa kya katagal bago namin mareceive ang letter of approval dito sa philippines? thank a bunch talaga mga sis!God bless us all!

dito pa ko Pinas sis..sa Oct14 pa kami alis..i have attended the Pre-departure Orientation/Seminar yesterday..tapos na lahat ng dapat gawin at waiting na lang ng pag-alis, hehe!..good luck sis sa processing mo, sana wala maging problem..kung me tanong ka pa, don't hesitate to ask...

oo sis wait mo pa maging current ang priority date mo before ka nila request ng choice of agent..if i wer you sabihin mo sa hubby mo magcitizen na para maupgrade na petition mo if almost 5 years na stay nia..ganyan kasi case namin we filed last may2007 tapos this year nagcitizen hubby ko after a month naupgrade na petition namin at nagfile pa kami seperate petition for our son dont worry after a month na approved din...ngayon ok na wait nalang kami macase complete dami kasi hinihingi after that schedule for interview na..

^^ganyan din kasi case ni charo (cha) approved petition nila oct.2008 ata tapos wait nia naging current priority date pero mas napaaga yung kanila ng ilang months din ata...almost 5 years din ata tinagal ng petition nila kasi march 2005 yung kanila

his sis whatever_rilett ,honestly my hubby can't file for citizenship pa kasi he was charged with dui mga 3yrs ago but he's almost 6yrs na sa states and because of that,he has to wait for like 3-5 yrs. pa or more before he can be approved of citizenship,kaya kahit mag-apply siya,they'd just deny him.anyways,he called last oct. to ask if gaano pa itatagal namin dito and they said mga 1yr and a half pa.i'm so confused and depressed if 'til kelan pa kami magaantay of if that 6yrs of staying there counts.isa pa,i don't really understand why would they approve something so early just to know na mag-iistay pa kami [textspeak!] longer.so depressing talaga.ask ko lang,dun ba sa approval letter naka-indicate naba yung case #?i'm losing hope na talaga.may instance na ba na dumating earlier ang petion nila even if it's not yet the priority date and when does that 1 1/2years start and end if we called around october?thanks talaga kapatid for answering my query...huhu

^sorry to hear that...hay nako sis naiintindihan kita super lahat ata tayo nadaan sa ganyang stage yung parang mappraning sa kakaantay..tip ko lang sayo wag ka padala sa emotion mo hangang maiiwasan mo if may anak kayo bigay mo attention mo sa anak mo or maghanap ka mapaglilibangan mo..ganyang ganyan ako dati..hayyzz..anyway oo nga unfair sila para sa mga lpr na nagfile kasi kahit approved na may priority date talaga sila sinusunod kasi tingin ko mas priority kasi talaga nila mga citizens kasi ang bilis nila magresponse talaga based sa experience ko compare nung nasa lpr stage palang kami,grabe parang halos lumuha na kami dugo kakaantay...just pray pray pray lang yan lang masasabi ko...

akala ko nga 5-10 days eh bago ko mareciv visa ko, gulat ako kaninang umaga, visa ko na pala yun. jejejeje... thanks mga sis!

hindi hinanap sis... ni hindi nga kinuha sakin yung mga remittances ko eh..

Hmmm....I'm thinking of Petitioning my parents. I'm still gathering infos though. So hindi ko pa na submit applications and I have to do something with the affidavit of support thing. I'm not working right now, I'm taking care of my baby still. I was wondering if people here knows how another sponsor to shoulder the Affidavit of support goes? Or if someone experience this one? I'll probably go back to work when I can leave my baby to someone I can trust or if my baby turn 1 or 2yrs.

Ammm...How long will the process will be pag parents penititionan? Some told me madali nalang daw, like 3 months. Has anyone actually experience as fast as this timeframe? Or will a 6-a year process for parents the norm? Hope may makasagot about petitioning parents....

Hindi ba combined household income ang kino-consider sa affidavit of support?
I'll ask my friend who petitioned her mom. SAHM siya so I'm guessing husband's income ang ginamit nila for affidavit of support.
In the case of my friend, mabilis lang actually kaya lang na-delay because they had to get police clearance from the country na dating pinag-trabahuhan ng mom niya and medyo na-delay din because hindi siya na-clear sa medical (for TB). Otherwise, mabilis lang.

^Thanks sis grumpybear. I've been browsing around the net and I saw some post/steps in other forums that states you can have Affidavit of support that is not residing with you too.
I need to find out more though...

Gaano kabilis sis? How many months process? If you dont mind asking your friend.

^sa mother ko, ir-5(parent of a us citizen) about a year lang kung hindi lang nadelay yung passport nya ng 3 months and her visa by a month.

Once naayos na lahat (as in na-submit the police clearance and all), it was within 3 mos. Pero nag-sablay kasi the medical so I guess she has to get treated first bago ang interview. Otherwise, interview na agad and then mabibigyan na ng visa after interview.

^yup... my mother sent those requirements in july... sept. may date of interview na sya.
