hi everyone...

i just received my appointment letter this morning.. Interview date is on November 17, 2009 at 8:30am.

ask ko lang puede na ba akong magpa medical kahit wala pa akong narereciv na letter for my medical appointment?

Ako kasi I sent it around August 24. Kaso when my husband called to check sa NVC (using the number na nakapost sa site nila), ang sabi wala daw yung case number namin?!? It was sooo weird.  Papa-track ko na nga ang documents na pinadala ko eh, just to be sure.

Can someone PM me the NVC customer service number? Baka mali naman pala ang tinawagan ng aking husband hehe... Medyo nagiging anxious na ako ah

may nakagawa na ba sa inyo nito??

Yung diploma and TOR, alam ko pwede ipa-authenticate either sa Dept. of Educ/CHED OR sa Malacanang... meron talagang service na ganyan dun. Di ko lang matandaan for sure which is which... I don't know also kung ma-authenticate din nila ang employment and training certificates. Alam ko school records talaga ang ina-authenticate nila... let me ask my friend who had her documents authenticated na ah, then will get back to you.

pinada lamin mga documents nung july pero nung august incomplete yung AOS namin kaya nung september 8 naaprob yung case ko.

@rncj - ok thanks! yan na nga ang # na tinawagan ng hubby ko pero according to the automated 'robot' na sumasagot dun wala daw ang case # namin pero ongoing naman ang processing namin -- i mean they email me with the checklist of requirements noon, etc... kaya nga nagtataka kami kung baket wala yung case# namin. Weird... sige e-e-mail ko na lang din siguro.

AISHA:  sis pag e-mail mo sila, lagay mo dun yung case number mo at priority date, name and birthday of petitioner, name and birthday of beneficiary, and name ng attorney kung meron

meron na bang nag try ng ganito bago nagpa medical?

hi sis rncj...can i ask u a favor pwede po paki post [textspeak!] timeframe u, kung ok lang po..para ma estimate or may idea kmi kung ganu pa kmi ktgal mgtitiis, mga batch 2006 & 2007 filers....i already received my approval last june 09 which is MNLXXXX, myPD is Dec 22,2006...so sana nxt yr marereciv ko na paperworks ko..total parang bumibilis narin ngaun process, kc nung aug -jan05 then ngaung nov-aug15,05 na...thanks for advance!

mukhang mga F2A cases ang naproprocess ngayon huh! for F2B  po, usually ilang years bago magpadalhan ng interview sched? kakatanggap ko lang kasi nun mnlxxxx letter ko pero nakalagay dun wala pa daw available visa para sa case ko.  ;-(

hello folks (especially batches from 2005-2007 of any category). di ba after the approval letter ang next na darating is the MNLXXXX letter from NVC. Generic ba yung content ng letter na yun regardless kung ano ang category mo?

Sa sis ko (F2B) ang nakasaad ay:

"...Unfortunately, visa numbers are not presently available for your use. You will be notified when further consideration can be given to processing your application for immigration. The reason for this delay is that there are more applicants for visas than there are immigrant visa numbers available under the limitation prescribed by law...."

ganito rin ba ang content ng sa inyo? and to follow up on sis penelope's question, how soon did you get another notice after this MNLXXX letter?

July (3rd week) --- Document submitted to NVC
August (2nd week)---- Incomplete Documents
Sept. 8, 2009 ---- case complete
October 14, 2009 --- appointment letter received
Nov. 17 --- interview

hi mga sis question lang, new ako thread na ito and hindi ako naka fully back read sorry

yun sis ko is US Citizen and she filed for my moms petition na as per her lawyer mabilis lang daw ma-approve yun hopefully within a year which is asme base sa nabasa ko sa thread.  my question is once my mom is approved ang plan namin is siya na lang ang magpepetition sa amin ng family ko i think its under F3 category ba yun?  how long will it take ba? and hihingan din ba ng affidavit of support ang mom ko nun? what if hindi siya work pwede ba yun?

Hi -- my visa category is F2A and here is my time line, so far:

October 21, 2008 - Received Approval Notice
May 5, 2009 - Received Choice of Agent and Address Form
May 18, 2009 - SENT Reply to Choice of Agent and Address
May 21, 2009 - AOS Fee paid
Mid-July 2009 - Affidavit of Support (I-864) sent
June 3, 2009 - Received Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill Invoice
June 22, 2009 - Immigrant Visa Fee paid
August 1, 2009 - Received CHECKLIST letter -- stating missing requirements/documents.
August 24, 2009 - DS-230 and civil document requirements sent

So yan pa lang...wala pa ako updates after that. Parang dapat nga meron ng new developments pero wala pa...i've already inquired via email (kasi accdg to their site that is the preferred method of communication diba?) ... and still wala pa'ng reply. And yes, rncj, I did include all the important info like the names, birthdates, etc. THanks for the reminder

** Naalala ko pala na right after receiving the Approval Notice, around November 2008 yata... na sinabihan kami na there might be some delays pa. As there are no visa # available yet. So do not make any travel plans, do not sell properties, etc... Tapos yun ang next email na nareceive namin is nung May 2009 na. So mga 6 months din ako naghintay that time.

for F3, based on relative's experience parang 20 years din. AT syempre nag-antay pa ng 5 years yung lola ko (petitioner) para maging citizen at mag-file ng F3. I think kung F3 at F4 lang ang pagpipilian mo, mas maganda pa siguro kung sa F4 category ka at ng iyong pamilya ipetition.

^sis aisha, thanks for the response. you answered my question kung yung MNLXXXX letter ay generic or not - and based on your response ay kahit anong category eh mukhang generic nga yung letter.

sa ibang mga sis diyan, meron bang na-skip ang letter na ito, meaning di na nakatanggap and diretso na sa choice of agent. sa timeline ni sis rncj wala yung receipt of MNLXXXX letter eh.

Sis Aisha... ang pagkakaalam ko sa situation mo.. na delay ng kunti yung papers mo kasi naging incomplete yung papers na sinubmit mu nun... pero dont worry sis darating din yan.. pero sana man lang malaman mo kung case complete na.. try mo kaya ulit tumawag dun kasi yung Robot operator eh sasabihin naman kung case complete ka na.. kasi u know what sis parehas tayo [textspeak!] priority date, diba may 2005 ka? ako kasi may 5, 2005. advise ko lang ha. try mo ulit tumawag sa NVC.. gudlak sis.

@rncj -- parang I read somewhere na pag nag-iinquire thru the customer service, that sometimes causes delay? Hinde kaya lalo akong ma-delay nun? Hmmm... nakaka-anxious naman 'to.

@aisha... napapaisip ako sa case mo.. bakit wala pa eh nag current ang papers mo last month [textspeak!]? kasi ako may 5, 2005 priority date ko kasi naging current ang case ko last month but since nga na incomplete kami sa documents, na delay kami ng 1 month... halos parehas tayo ng date ng pag submit ng documents.. diba august ka nag submit? hmmmm... bakit nga ba wala pa sa u...

yung sinasabi mong baka mas lalong ma delay yung case mo pag mag i-inquire ka, mmmm.... sakin naman hindi... nung tinawagan ko NVC para inquire sa status ko then a week after naka receive ako appointment letter.. jejejeje
