i want to join this thread because we're here in the US right now under working visa. I would just like to get updated with the info being exchanged here.

hello mga sis. my mom's f2b petition to my sister was approved! thank God kase we only filed this 2 years ago. based on your experience, what are the next steps we will have to go through and how long is the wait from approval to getting a visa (pareho ng question ni municat). Thanks in advance.

is your mom a USC or LPR? my older sister has the same category and mas matagal ang waiting time kapag USC ang parents kesa LPR..what is the priority number of the petition? based kasi sa VisaBulletin they are processing visas file on or before May01,1998. Yun sis ko nga, yr2005 ang priority date nya, so more or less 7yrs waiting pa sya, (*sigh*), ang tagal...

so, tuberculin test at physical exam lang yun sa son ko...at sa physical exam, siguro naman same doctor(female-I prefer) na yun magtitingin sa min no, regardless of the gender since child naman sya...

yes, same doctor na rin. ganun yung nangyari sa 'min. basta dapat makinig ng husto sa mga questions ng doctor at magsabi ng totoo, medyo mabilisan kasi magsalita yung doctor na napuntahan namin at me pagka-supladita sa mga bata, makukulit kc yung 2 anak ko ages 4 & 6.

be prepared din sa mga details about your petition, including address and telephone number of petitioner, etc. and don't forget your photos, mahal magpa-picture sa labas, di pa ok.

^kelan kayo sis nagpamedical? ako kasi 1month before the scheduled interview..one more thing pa pala, i checked thru a visa link wherein you will input your MNL case no.and will check the visa appt, bakit ganun, wala pa dun yun case no.at appt date namin..pero meron na ko appt letter..baka kasi icheck nila yun sa St.Lukes using the same link, tas wala pa naman dun..inaaupdate ba nila yun?

april, 2009 pa kami nagpa-medical, bale 3 weeks yata yun before our interview appointment. tapos na interview namin nung last wk of july. waiting na lang kami ng visa. nagka-delay lang kasi nga nagkaproblema me sa medical noon, pero naayos na din. okay lang na wala pa dun sa appointment check sa site ng embassy, late ang posting nila. ang importante lang dala mo yung appointment letter nyo then photocopy it, 1 for you and 1 for your son. yun kasi ang kailangan mo i-present sa kanila then kukunin nila yung 1 copy for their file.  almost 11k ang fee ng adult then yung sa bata parang almost 9k, di ko na matandaan, basta in pesos kailangan.

tip lang, don't go there kung me sipon ka or have ka ng period mo. kung me sipon ka baka kasi me phlegm or something suspicious na makita sa x-ray mo, mahihirapan ka, pag "have" ka naman di ka yata ipi-physical (sot sure though, narinig ko lang sa mga kasabayan namin noon).

what happened to your medical? and how long have you been waiting for the visa to arrive? ang tagal na pala nyo waiting kung ganun? btw, where are you going..i will be in Californina..

Kapag ba me sipon hindi nila irirelease na OK ang medical? naku, tuwing umaga pa naman, sinisipon ako, some sort of allergy siguro to, though hindi ko pa napapachek up, pero nawawala naman after a couple of hours..anyway, sana gumaling na sipon ni kiddo ko, me sipon sya ngayon e..what time pala kayo nun pumunta sa St.Lukes?

^hi sis! I believe IR category nyo..and your hubby filed separately for you and your daughter since ganun ang category nyo

as far as I know, it will take 8-10months process..it depends, because you guys wont need to wait for availability of visa...once nakatanggap ka na ng Choice of Agent or DS-3032 ata, tuloy tuloy na yun, months na lang bibilangin nyo mag ina...goodluck!

mga sis,my hubby is a US Citizen and yung petition samin ng daughter ko was approved na just the other day based on our online inquiry at uscis site,ask ko lang,based sa experience nyo w/the same type of petition,ilan months inabot from the time the petition was approved up to the time na nakuha nyo na your visa given na walang problem sa mga documents/requirements...tia:)

yesterday nalaman ng bf ko from his dad na approved na US petition nila f2b.  ano na ang next step? gano pa katagal ang iintayin nya for the medical and interview plus the result?

^kelan nabayaran yun $400? pano ba nya binayaran yun, online? kasi ganun din nangyari sa kin, I mean, 1month na nakabayad si hubby pero ala pa rin dumadating sa kin packet..yun pala, once nagbayad ka thru Online, automatice, pede mo na idownload yun mga forms..anyway, Im not sure if pede pa ma-appeal yun...waste no time girl, go ahead and call NVC...i'm sure me way pa yan..if your dad is too busy to make a call, then you do it...sayang ang opportunity..and pera of course

We're more than 3 yrs married na w/a 2 y/o daughter...USC naman si hubby,approved na kami & just waiting for the next step...we need help pala w/regards to I864, sa part3 of the form, kase minor yung anak namin,should she be included there or kelangan ng seperate form/documentation?thanks

^ so IR1 category mo?? mabilis n yan, once n approve na petition ang bilis n ng process..just make sure n tama & complete lahat ng papers n submit mo to avoid RFE(request for further evidence)..

btw, USC naba c hubby mo nung nagkababy kayo?? kc may naririnig akong CRBA..klangan mo i-apply c baby ng CRBA if USC si hubby when u give birth.. kc USEM acknowlegde the baby as USC din khit sa foriegn country pinanganak basta USC ang parents or khit isa lang sa mga parents.. wala akong masyadong alam about CRBA, since wala pa nman akong baby..  hindi ko rin alam kung panu ang process pag my kasamang dependent..maybe other  GT here can help u

if US citizen na po si hubby mo when you gave birth automatic na US citizen na rin ang baby mo. call US embassy and ask them the number ng courier nila (they will give you the application form and list of all documents needed) for you to apply for the CRBA (consular report of birth abroad). if qualified si baby mo for CRBA makukuhanan mo na din sya ng US passport so no need to apply visa for her.

mom is lpr. and priority date i think is 2007 (because we filed it on 2007).

so maski we received a notice na 'approve' na yung petition matagal pa rin ang waiting time?

^yup, matagal pa waiting, based sa visa bulletin, May01,1998 pa pinaprocess nilang visa.
my sisters petition was approved last year ata, but since F2B ang category nila, mas matagal..mas lalo tatagal kapag naging citizen mom mo, so don't tell your mom to apply for citizenship, otherwise mas tatagal waiting...

^may f2b petition ako approved last 2005 (noa; filed in 2001, pd 2001) ok na rin sa cspa (2008) pero til now wala pa rin.

nauna yung ir2. yung ir2 ko approved nung 2000 but i turned 21 nung 2001 so nag-file ng cspa and won the case... last month ako na-interview and visa approved under ir2.

yung fren ko po hindi pa sila kasal ng husband niya kasi naka petition sya as parent immigrant kaya di pa cla nagpapakasal..so ngaun approve na [textspeak!] petition ng husband nya

may dalwa cla anak then pag alis nya kasama nya ang dalawa nya anak.tapos maiiwan [textspeak!] fren ko.

sabi sa embassy na wag muna pakasal para mabilis makasunod [textspeak!] wife nya...

after the approval notice, next na dun ang DS-3032 form (Choice of Agent) then wait for some instructions to pay the $70 (AOS fee- para sa petitioner to), then yun $400 (IV bill fee) --dito mo na marereceive or mada-download online (if you paid online) yun DS230...basta in my case/category which is F2A, after ng approval, it would take almost a year bago magkaron ng schedule for interview....
