IR1 category ako.yong nareceived ko na email date and time lang interview ko.walang nilagay kung kelan ako punta st.lukes.try ko tinawagan immigrant call center yesterday and the operator said wait muna ako till last week dis july or 1st week ng august for notification coming from the embassy.the operator checked sa database nila.the nvc sets my interview na but wala pa daw sa database dito manila embassy.

naguguluhan talaga ako kung ano pwede ko gawin

hello! i just would like to ask sana if anybody here did the sputum/culture test at St. Lukes, it's done when your x-ray has some suspected problems.  I'd like to know if the visa validity given to all those who had that medical case is good only for 2 months. yung brother ko kasi na walang medical problem was given 6 months visa validity (expiration) whereas yung sister-in-law ko who went thru the sputum test was given only 2 months visa validity.  i've tried to research on this pero very limited lang ang nakuha kong info.  tia

correct sis! from 8am-6pm..cant remember lang how much per minute..kaya dapat mabilis ang inquiry mo kasi as i remember, P600 kagad ang nadagdag sa bill ko nun.

hindi po ang NVC ang nagschedule ng Medical or USEM, u have to go to St. lukes 2 weeks before your interview,but in my case before, pumunta ako ng St. Lukes 1 month before my interview just to make so sure (mahirap na bka kc magkaproblema pa).. St. lukes is first come first serve, (nung ako pumunta ako ng 10am, then natapos yung 1st day ko 4pm,after that pinabalik ako the next day for immunization)

Just bring your appointment letter from NVC, 2 copies atleast, three 2x2 id pix white background, then u have to remember kung klan ang first date ng period mo nung month na yun.. and btw, make sure na [textspeak!] kang period by that time, kc  my physical exam,.

and  minsan  hindi pa makita sa data base sa USEM Manila, kc bka hindi pa po nafoforrward ng NVC ang case nyo sa USEM, u can try to check here http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp yung case mo to make sure yung appointment date mo..

pero if u want to make things so sure, inquire din kayo =] this is based on my experience kc last May this year =]

well aside from yun nga tandaan ang first day ng period by that month, try to note your passport number, where and when it was issue, expiration date, POE, petioner name and address, pra hindi kna mahirapan sa pagbuklat ng mga document mo pag magfi-fill up ka.
bring black ballpen, yung fees, your passport, the 3 2x2 id,..

btw, ang st. lukes clinic, wlang nkalagay sa labas na name na st.lukes clinic, ang signage nila is 117 J. Bocobo St. yung orange building , then pagdating mo present your 2 copies of appointment letter sa guard, then bibigyan ka na ng form na fi-fill upan mo.

be attentive inside,kc mejo maingay and they will call your name when its your turn.. mejo matataray ang mga nurse dun (hindi nman lahat )pagpasensyahan mo nalang..

and be honest sa mga questions, sa physical exam, they were strict sa mga scars sa neck, at sa may pulse..wear something u are comfortable at madaling isuot at hubarin sa 1st day ng medical mo..

^ sis kakauwi ko lang last april, conditional ang status ko, ang mga anak ko andun din sa pinas pero since magtagal sila dun ng more than a year, kinuha ko sila ng re-entry bago ko sila inihatid. Kung magstay ka outside sa pinas ng more than 6 months dapat may re-entry ka. Less than 2 weeks lang ako dun.

hi sis !! just wanna ask lang kasi gusto ka din umuwi sa pinas together with my baby..my status is cr-1 and and my baby is ir-1...puede ba kami umuwi at hindi na mag file ng re-entry?? we came here in u.s last january palang...and KAPAG BA UMUWI KAMI NG BABY Q walang magiging problema kapag ng file [textspeak!] ng citizenship?? thanks !!!

sis in my POV lang ha, basta green card holder ka at hindi ka magstay ng more than 6 months sa labas ng US, walang magiging probs pagbalik mo dito, pero kung maraming beses kang umalis palabas ng US baka maka apekto yun sa citizenship application mo in the near future.

I had sputum tests that turned out negative and the visa that they gave to me is only valid for 2 months. So i'm off to the US on Sunday.

I think the 2-months validity is their way of making up for the delay (around 3 months)

I need your help...nakarecieved ako ng appointment letter from nvc thru email stating my schedule for interview(AUGUST 2009).bakit nauna sched ng interview kesa medical?di ko tuloy alam kung kelan ako pamedical.wala na ba darating na letter saken na hardcopy?anong gagawin ko mga sis?call ba ako sa us embassy manila?

Just print out your email-- that's what I did. And, usually, they don't give you a schedule for the medical but it's ideal to have it 1 week, at most 1 month before the scheduled interview.

Medical tests usually last for 2 days and you'll get the results on the 3rd day.

thanks sis Vera.  We had our interview yesterday and I actually asked the Consul who interviewed us about this and he said that the Visa validity is actually 6 months after the medical and that if ever we want to extend the expiration we would have to redo the medical, OUCH!

sis, i think hindi naman tinitest ang urine for UTI sa St. Lukes. The urine test is done to females to determine pregnancy kase they need to know if you're okay for the immunization. Meron kase immunization na bawal sa preggy.

sana nga sis...kasi i had my pre med here sa la union and clear lahat except my urine.may mild uti dw ako and my doctor gave me 1 week na maggamot.she gave me inoflox.den balik ako by tuesday for lab test.bothered kc ako baka di ako pumasa med sa st.lukes..plan ko kasi pa med na by aug 4,2009.my interview has been scheduled on aug 20,2009...
