Hi again...what kind of affidavit nga pla? All I have here kasi is my NSO copy of marriage contract and my passport with amendment (change of status fr single to married) sa 2nd page.  Pwede na kaya yun?  Though I asked my friend who is my travel agent, sabi nia yun lang daw kailangan..have to keep it handy just in case they ask 4 it daw.  I just want to make sure lang kc bka my similar case eh nagka-problem sa airport dahil dun.  Hay sana ok na nga yun.  But if I need to present an affidavit...better siguro if magdala na rin ako. 

Is it ok also to book my flight kahit hindi pa ako na-interview?  Though sa July 3 na sched ko for my visa interview...My husband wanted me to book flight early para daw mas mura ticket (PAL).  Im planning to book sana yung date ng July 20 (Sunday)  U think ok lang yun?  That is 2wks after my interview.  Sana nga ma-approve eh.

Id rather wait nalang muna at hintayin sabihin na naapprove na nga talaga bago magpabook. Mahirap na.

Marriage license and another picture ID siguro w/ your married na will do

its ok to be optimistic but its best to be ready for something that might come up during and after the interview , if everything goes well then you can start your next plan from there.

thanks sis rampage and infinity...di na muna siguro ako mag-pa2book kc nga makulit lang asawa ko talaga...hehe.  Hindi nman siguro tataas yung price ng ticket if 2wks b4 yung date ng alis ko ipa-book.

actually sis posibleng tumaas yung presyo, matagal tagal pa nga yung 2wks e, kahit araw lang ang pagitan tataas at tataas ang price ng ticket. i would suggest na magpa reserve ka na, hindi mo naman kailangan bayaran kagad, sa iba free yun or maybe may konting fee. better na kesa maghahanap ka pa ng ticket, tsaka july mahirap maghanap ng mura.

umuwi ako last year, from may hanggang july. nasakyan ko is nwa, almost 1k na din ata yung ticket sobrang dami pa ng stopover. pero sabagay depende din kung saan ka papunta

I have a question pala sa mga nagadjust ng status at nakakuha ng work authorization, pag nakuha na ba yung work permit pwede na kagad magapply sa SSA at drivers license?

mas mqtagal ba pag greencard holder pa lang ang husband? what if you are in the US already and you get married to a greencard holder, mas madali ba magadjust ng status na lang there, rather than file a petition for spouse here pag nagpakasal na kayo?

Hi sis eukanuba.  As far as I know kahit ikasal ka sa legal resident/greencard holder pa lang sa US need ka pa rin umuwi sa PI.  Di ka alllowed mag stay dun then adjust ka ng status later.  Pwede ka nia i-petition but you still have to wait for his citizenship.

ganun? ang tagal pa pala nun pano pag magaadjust na siya ng status from approved petition I797 to greencard holder, pwede ba isabay dun ang magiging wife niya? dun na sa US?

Adjust muna cia ng status first before cia mag-file ng petition for his wife.  Either way kc matagal talaga kc sa case nia since non-immigrant worker pala sya then change status to immigrant, I think it will take 3-5 years pa rin bago ka nya makuha.  Pwede rin nia i-file na rin petition after nya maging immigrant but same pa rin waiting period ng wife bago nya makasama.

check this site, I think pwede mag-stay if H1B holder cia, but wife is not allowed to work in the US.

matagal pa siya maging immigrant eh. mag adjust pa lang siya ng status nxt year so after 3 years pa ang labas ng greencard. so he is thinking of adjusting together with his wife to be sabay sa pag adjust niya.

hindi siya H1 visa holder, from approved petition, na previously b1/b2 straight siya mag adjust ng status. are u guys familiar with this kind of case?

Thanks to all of your here, you're a great help talaga.  I just had my interview at the USEM Manila last July 3 but before that nagpa-medical ako sa St Lukes June 30 and July 1.  I got a pink slip and they told me that they still have to do some document verification and he (guy at window 37) told me to pay the visa delivery fee at d' delbros counter and that I can go home already.  Hay...sana approve nila ako and deliver nila visa agad.  Can't wait to see my husband.  

I am really thankful 2 this kind of forums kasi naging guide ko from start to end talaga.

^ hi sis. you mean greencard holder ka na? citizen po ba si husband? buti pa sa iyo mabilis.

b1/b2 -he entered as a tourist but he found work there through an agency.

k3 kc ako kya non-immigrant pa visa ko.  Dun na lang namin daw process lahat yung AOS, makaalis lang daw ako khit mag-antay ng matagal at least magkasama na kme.  un nga lang apply pa ko work permit dahil sa status ko.  Sana pag dating dun eh mabilis nman process nla ng AOS. 

yung question mo...tingin ko sis kailangan nia muna change status to immigrant bago cia pwede mag-petition.  Pero un nga lang mata2galan talaga.  I'm not sure though if gaano pa katagal process, Alam ko talaga years, pag di pa Citizen status ng petitioner.

As Ive mentioned before I filed 485 765 and 130 for my hub. So far so good, nagpa fingerprint na siya and later they asked for a few more evidences pa. i hope working permit na yung susunod, naiinip na rin kasi siya sa bahay.

mga sis ask ko lang kung gaano katagal bago mareceive yung noa2...kasi nareceive na ni hubby yung noa1 last may this year mga ilang months kaya bago dumating yung noa2...thanks!!!
