I and my 3-yr old son had our interview this morning. We were qualified for the visa daw as the consul said. Nakulitan sa anak ko  It was totally an informal conversation/interview. The consul asked  me where my hubby is working & I said something like " OH 's***, I forgot" Eh nakalimutan ko naman talaga kase nga ang kulet ng anak ko sa loob ng embassy. 
 Ganun pala yun, may Filipino tas at the same time may consul din. Ayun, eto waiting na lang ako sa delivery. Ganu kaya katagal kapag within MM? sabe 2-3 days kaso naman holy week.

girls, napansin ko halos lahat dito CA nagpupunta. Meron ba dito na sa NJ or NY nagpunta? Gano kabilis ang process ng papers dun kung h1b nurse ang hubby nyo?

Sis! I suggest you read other thread kase this one is for those who have US citizen/ resident spouses.  In case your spouse is already a US citizen, the process normally take 6mos.

hi mga sisses! ask ko lang kasi dapat magpakasal na kami ni US citizen bf this summer paguwi nya..but then me nagadvise daw sa kanya na its better kung magfile na lang sya ng fiance petition para 6-8months lang andun na ko since i'll be graduating this october na naman. kung spouse petition it will take years daw eh.. mejo nafrustrate lang ako kasi dati pa namin plano magpakasal pero ayoko din naman magintay ng matagal sa petition ..

sis, pareho lang naman ata ang length ng processing ng fiance/e at spouse (non-immigrant) 9-12 months. matagal lang yung spouse kapag IR1 type na ang gagawin nyo (immigrant), 12-24 months.

we just received a letter that my brother's case was approved and that it is being sent at NVC. How long is the waiting period for us to receive the next step like additional forms and packets?

my brother is turning 21yrs old in June..my dad is somewhat worried about it..

medio matagal process ngayon kasi yung ka sis natin dito na isa october pa cia nagapply ng I-130 nia hangang ngayon wala padin yung NOA2 nila...by the way citizen cia ha ganun katagal ngayon as in..about sa bad credit naman hindi naman siguro as long na above kayo sa poverty line nila...kung hindi co-sponsor nalang..

Nag-apply ang hubby ko para samin ng anak ko dec 2007, dumating ang NOA1 ko Feb 1, 2008 sa anak ko feb 28, 2008. Kanina ang saya ko ng may dumating sakin na e-mail na approved ang petition ng anak ko wait ko na lang daw ang letter sa mail. Sana next week sakin namn ma-approved. Ang hirap mag hintay ng letter. Sa nababasa ko sa ibang forum na [textspeak!] ibang sept-nov filer eh d pa na approve.

hi mga sis.. pls help me on this. case is IR5 - parent of US citizen
my soon-to-be father-in-law will be having his interview on May 20. Plano namin ni fiance na samahan na sya sa medical on Tuesday, April 15-16, bago kami umalis para hindi na sya mahirapan since luluwas pa sya from the province.
A friend that I met at St lukes's told me na ok lang ipakita sa guard ng st lukes yung letter na nareceived ng petitoner from NVC (naka address din yung letter sa beneficiary), tama ba to? may nakagawa na ba nito? ok lang naman siguro na magpamedical 5 weeks earlier sa visa interview?


with the visa interview, wala pa kasi samin yung packet 4, gano kaya katagal makukuha to, we're afraid kasi na tumagal yung pagdala ng packet sa beneficiary kasi provincial address pa. pwede ba mag-request si petitioner sa Embassy na agahan ang delivery ng packet? or may request pick-up of the packet na lang?

u.s navy kasi yung hubby ko..interview nya palang this coming april 21 for citizenship...aabutin kaya ng 1 year yung processing? dalawa kasi kami, me and my 3month old baby.....sobrang inip na kasi ako [textspeak!]...hayy,,matagal pa kaya??....

^kapag pumasok ba sa navy automatic pwede kana magapply citizenship kahit wala kapang 5 years?  kelan pa nagapply yung asawa mo sa pagcicitizen  nia?...sa tingin ko kasi my nakausap ako sa GT natin mabagal ngayon process kahit citizen kasi cia october pa nagfile hangang ngayon wala padin yung NOA2 nia mag 7 mos na...

yup!! alam ko pag navy or military puede ka agad mag apply for citizenship..then pag naman u.s citizen na yung hubby mo puede ka na ding mag apply ng citizenship kahit 3 yrs ka plang residence...mukha ngang matagal [textspeak!] processing ngaun eh..kc yung hubby q nag apply [textspeak!] last dec. pa then this april palang [textspeak!] interview nya....kainis naman baka aabuitin pa kami [textspeak!] ng 1 yr..kaw ba sis??

^Sagutin ko lang sis [textspeak!] question mo nung isang araw, yup kaka-citizen lang ng asawa ko last dec. After ilang days pina-upgrade na nya [textspeak!] petition namin. Kaya lang may dumating na RFE(Request for Evidence) sa kanya kanina may kulang siya na pinasa. Kaya eto imbes na may NOA2 na ko mag hintay pa tuloy ngyon.
