Saan ok magwall climbing for beginners?  for kids? anong outfit kelangan suotin? shirt, jogging pants and rubber shoes ok na ba? or mainit? or kelangan nakapaa? may harness naman sila d b?

any inputs would be appreciated. thanks!

na-try ko na mag-wall climbing sa megamall.  it's out of my plan kasi dapat mag-iice skate ako that time pero my isang staff na humarang sa kin para itry ko daw yung wall climbing e wala naman akong kasama na mag-iice skate kaya ayon pumayag ako..

try mo sis sa tiendesitas sa may pasig hypermart meron dun..

Climber here! I climb at Power Up Silver City, sa likod ng SM Hypermart. Near Tiendesitas. The instructors are very friendly and accommodating. The rate's pretty reasonable too. 200 for 3 hours. May ladies' night din sila every Thursdays, where you get 30% off.

Sis, try mo rin sa may Powerplant. Dun kasi ako nagclclimb. Although medyo mas mahal nga lang dun. Mga P200 for one hour lang yun pero kasama na dun yung gears, instructor, even shoes.

I also tried in Colegio de San Agustin. Mas mababa yung wall dito, mas madali ng konti and mas mura dito. Basta for the whole day na gusto mo magwall climb mga P200 na yun or P150. May batang babae nga nun nagwall climb kasabay ko, siguro mga 9 years-old yun. Ang galing niya.

Regarding outfit, comfortable shirt and jogging pants. Shoes are provided there. Meron din ibang naka cycling shorts but I would suggest magjogging pants ka na lang kasi kung minsan hindi maiwasan na tumama yung knees mo sa wall and sa crevice.

Oh another spot newbies should try out: Camp Sandugo at Market! Market! 140/hour. Inclusive of shoes na rin. Mas mababa ang wall.

Pero ok rin for newbies ang Power Up Silver City! May beginners wall sila. The rental is inclusive of the belay card, the instructor, and the shoe and harness rental.

another question - indoor/outdoor ba sila?  Kasi kung outdoor, kelangan magsunblock d b?  Just like yung nasa Capitolyo.  Buhay pa kaya yun?  Sa Power Up Silver City or sa Camp Sandugo, indoor ba?  Tsaka, marami bang usi?  Ayoko kasi ng may nanonood e. 

rockONsaint,  Parang may nakita nako sa Rockwell near the parking.  Pero hindi ba laging maraming drivers dun na nakikinood?

Indoor ang Sandugo at Silver City. Wala na yung sa Kapitolyo. Nasa Silver City na yung mga guys doon.

Sa Silver City walang usi kasi auto mall naman yun so panay wide spaces lang. Pero sa Sandugo meron kasi mall yun.

Discount? I'm not quite sure. Basta punta ka lang doon, look for Macky, Sly or Vicmar. They're really nice guys, they'll accommodate you.

@late_bloomer  during summer season we often go to centro it's located around horseshoe area in qc, forgot the exact name of the street, the street if you go straight it will take you to edsa and right across is macro. Their rate is around 200 for the day na siya, including instructor and harness. It's an indoor gym. Ok rin siya for kids, i climb there with my daughter (7 yo) and she enjoys it.

Haha! Lately lang din ako bumalik, last week lang. Tagal kong delinquent. I try to climb at least twice a week. Sige sama ka!
