finally got our australian visa. bilis lang. the embassy got it last monday tapos yesterday approve na. this morning nadeliver na. yay!

they gave us multiple entry until august 2010!

now, looking lang for cheap hotel na walking distance sa mga main areas. actually looking around darling harbour.

any suggestions?

Question lang: Does it really matter na dapat malaki ang laman ng savings? Kasi I don't keep all my money in my savings acct., nasa stocks and MFs. :[

Hi! I'm going to visit Brisbane and Gold Coast at around the second week of March. I think we're going to Movieworld, Surfer's Paradise and the kangaroo/koala place. What's the weather at around that time? What clothes should I bring? Hope you can help me out sisters! Thanks.

^March is supposed to be Autumn but last year, it didn't cool down until the very last days of March! Wear summer clothes but bring a light cardigan just in case the temp drops.

Background:  We are engineers here in the Phils with no relatives in Australia.  Wanted sana to save some money where possible para we have pocket money pang simula sa Oz.

I haven't been to Brisbane yet but I've been to Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

I suggest for Sydney, you go to Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach, Paddy's Market, The Rock, Blue Mountains (by car or train) and all those places that will show up when you google Sydney
 If you go to the city, you can see many places already. For shopping, you don't need to worry, almost every Suburb in Sydney has its own mall, they close early though, around 5-8pm. For bargains, you can check this out: http://www.medina.com.au/things-to-do-in-sydney/top-ten-shopping-precincts

Try doing that bridge climbing at Sydney harbour bridge. It'll scare the hell out of you.
