Australia, any input?

My family and I are visiting Oz. Ako lang mag apply ng visa as all of them are US citizens. My parents will be paying for my trip although employed din naman ako. Di nga lang masyado malaki laman ng bank acct ko though may investment certificates ako. I'm single though. Would this be a problem kaya? Thanks

better if may palakad ng papers sa travel agency? ganun ba yun? gusto ko tourist visa lang sana kasi, pag maghahanap ba ako ng job dun puede if tourist ako, ill be coming back naman eh, gusto ko lang makita kung may options ako o future dun

^^ang alam ko bawal maghanap ng work kapag tourist visa hawak mo.  pero may friend ako, nakahanap cya ng work during his short visit sa australia.  sabi lang nya wag ka magpapahuli

permanent resident or any working visa po ata.  d ko po sure. basta yung tourist alam ko bawal magwork. check mo din yung website ng immigration.
ang ginawa kasi nung friend ko, nasponsor cya ng employer nya. so yung employer ang nagasikaso ng visa nya. yung friend ko naman umuwi pa din dito. so parang habang inaasikaso ng employer yung visa nya, andito  cya sa philippines

i am applying for a tourist visa now though employed naman ako saka naka-destino si hubby dun for a month kaya malakas loob ko. will be going to lodge my application tom. bigay na lang ako update dito..

after backreading, parang gusto ko i-try maghanap ng work sa australia! haha..

Hello sisses..  Hubby, our 4.9 y/o daughter and I are going to Australia for 8 to 9 days only come mid May 2010.  Hope someone here can help us with our itinerary given the number of days and the approaching cold weather.  Please consider we are travelling with a 4+ year old kid. 

Hubby and I have been to Sydney in 2004.  Now he's thinking of bringing us to Perth where it's more laid-back and maybe some day trips out of Perth. 

Just to give you guys an idea, when we travel, since we have a little kid with us, we usually don't join tour group as we want to relax and enjoy example the food we eat, well, our daughter is a slow-eater and a picky one at that, so we spend quite a time just for that  .   

Hope someone here can help us.  We don't want to be in a rush but at the same time, I don't want to feel like we've just wasted our trip.     

One more, pasensya na, demanding noh?  Chinese restos recommendations are highly appreciated!

finally got our australian visa. bilis lang. the embassy got it last monday tapos yesterday approve na. this morning nadeliver na. yay!

they gave us multiple entry until august 2010!

now, looking lang for cheap hotel na walking distance sa mga main areas. actually looking around darling harbour.

any suggestions?

^ bakit mabilis lang sa yo sis? My bf and I sent our applications last monday and he got his visa on thursday. We're still waiting for mine Sana ma-release na agad kasi target naman makaalis by the end of the week.

just came back from a 1 week holiday in brisbane. and i really enjoyed it. i really thank God for that trip. na-open ang mind especially ni hubby about considering living abroad. si hubby ko uber makabayan kaya tumanda na sya ng ayaw mag-abroad. but because of our recent aussie experience, ayun, sya mismo nagsabi na gusto nya dun lumaki ang mga anak namin. though maraming kailangan ayusin, pero at least we will give it a try.

tip ko nga sa mga mag-aapply ng visa, better submit it through VIA office. ewan ko ha, kasi yung tourist visa ko natulog ng 5 days with the courier (air21)! imbyerna talaga ako nun, nasabon ko yung kausap ko sa phone. at hindi ko pa malalaman na nasa kanila na pala ang passport ko kung hindi ako ang nagfollow up from embassy to air 21 mismo.

kaya next time sa VIA na lang ako magsa-submit at least mas madali kasi pwede kong i-pick up mismo kung na-release na.
