i ve been to sydney last year for 2 weeks and i must say I LOVE SYDNEY! i love the shopping..i dont know why everyone said that the shops are expensive..i dont think so..and fyi..their airport duty free is the cheapest place to buy ipod and other electronic gadgets..
i bought there an ipod touch, canon printer, panasonic camera digital, nintendo wii..
clothes are cheap in malls..promise...
i love the place really..and i wanted to go back there again..

magkano ba budget for two weeks stay, perth and melbourne...
I think accommodation namin ng mom ko sagot na kasi I have a good friend in perth and my couz is in melbourne, they have invited us to stay with them if incase tuloy na kami...kaya gala galore lang and food ang budget...mga how much kaya in php?

most malls will e closed 5pm in sydney and other major cities.

i enjoyed gold cost the most since it has a surfer's paradise feel, shops are open at little later and the amusement parks

It's a very picturesque country, a lot of nature and a lot cleaner than most countries. You will see how well they utilize their parks and beaches there. If you're a mall rat and are used to the culture of Manila though where everything stays open till late, baka magulat ka. Malls in Sydney and Melbourne close between 5-6 PM and even the restaurants are sparse and far from each other. Only the more expensive ones are open till late, and of course the ones in the tourist blocks which are not very good.

But the predominantly English buildings in Sydney are lovely, and the Royal Parks are very nice. Worth the trip naman in my opinion.

In Sydney, we took advantage of the hop-on hop off buses, went on a wine-tasting day trip in Hunter Valley, and took a day trip to the Blue Mountains and the nearby villages.

In Gold Coast we tried the water-theme parks (okay lang in my opinion if you skip this)

And in Melbourne we took a day trip to the Great Ocean Road, visited the Shrine of Remembrance, and spent a day in the Royal Botanical Gardens.

sis sa sydney nakatira ang ate ko and sobrang mura daw ang food doon hindi mo poproblemahin yun.

i heard so many good news about this country and sad to say 2 na lang kakmi ng sis ko ang hindi pa nakakapunta samen huhuhu... kasi they deny my visa strict sila pagdating sa tourist visa dapat talaga super saglit ka lang sa knila pagtourist visa ka or else magagaya ka saken hehe kasi ako 6months ang apply ko and at that time 22 pa lang ako so they told me na baka mag tnt daw ako, and they suggest na sponsored visa daw ako kung gusto ko ng 6months.kasi naman super tagal talaga ng 6months for tourist diba hehe...

maganda dito sis and ang government nila super okay, and when your child is born here they will give u 6,000aud for the help astig diba....

i dont know if this is OT or what, there's a hotel in makati na for aussies, nakalimutan ko hotel name. something like Sydney Tower??? any feedback? (bf's pinoy, but Aussie citizen, ill try to suggest na dun na lang siya mag stay sa hotel na yun, thing is, i forgot its name, cant find it in the web)

sis two_zero ...ganun talaga ang mangyayari pag ganun katagal ang stay for vacation, na pag isip sila siguro....

yung sa tita ko, parang inisponsor siya ng mom ko, kasi sinabay ng mom ko for renewal ng visa niya sa australia, for vacation lang den ang purpose, they indicate 2 weeks and na approve naman...

ka miss na ang australia...last punta ko pa dito was 2nd Year H.S. ako

sarap ng weather sa kanila...nice to see the Opera House

sort of medyo OT : if you take Qantas, if you'll be lucky enough, baka si Ms Teresa Loyzaga pa ang makita mong FA on their SYD/MNL Flight. She's nice and sweet

I love Goldcoast, Surfer's Paradise and the Theme Parks : one day is not enough sa Dreamworld masyado siya malaki, compared sa Sea or Movieworld. You can visit those 2 parks in a day.

Been to Sydney too. Wala nga masyado mabili kahit pumunta ka sa Factory outlet. More on pasyal lang talaga

BTW, napansin niyo ba, mababait ang mga aussies 'no ?
