sis chrisjbond007 may pm me sayo. Punta din me tomorrow sa GLS, finally pumayag na din my mom na magtraining ako. Gusto ko din sana sa Housekeeping. Yung Culinary Course sa GLS 8k+ yung tuition sabi nung nakausap ko kanina nung mag inquire ako. July 10 start ng class sa Housekeeping, not sure though yung sa Culinary.Worried lang ako kasi im barely 5ft, ok lang kaya yun pag sa housekeeping?Mga sis, iniisip ko kasi if ano kaya mag apply muna ako let's say sa Magsaysay and sabihin ko during the interview na currently i'm enrolled sa Housekeeping Class ng GLS pag tinanong ako if ano alam ko or may expereince na ba ako sa trabahong yun.Kasi naalala ko may nag suggest dito dati na mag apply muna and then sila din magrirecommend ano training na dapat kailangan mo. Para at least habang nagtitraining ka may sure ka ng work na naghihintay sayo. Matagal ka pa rin naman maghihintay kung kelan naka schedule yung barkong sasakyan mo di bah? well just a thought...

hi, any sis na nakapasok sa UPL for Holland America Line for the first time?? kasi ako ka grad lang ng culinary arts then nag apply sa sourceasia then pinasa nila sa UPL, for sched na ako ng US Visa, kaso i heard $500 [textspeak!] starting nila, hindi ko pa sure ito kasi hindi ko rin tinanong during interview and hindi ko pa nakikita [textspeak!] contract. eh kasi sabi dati sa seminar abot ng $1K ang entry level nila. paki enlighten naman ako mga sis kung sino may experience as 1st time cook sa HAL. tnx po. go sisters!!!

I'm only 4'11 and luckily I got in.Assistant waitress me before but i transferred to officers mess kasi super hirap magbuhat ng oval tray na andami daming laman na plates.Anyways I got the usual way,nagpasa lang me ng resume and got interviewd and luckily nakapasa. Usually kasi sa ganyan palakasan satin eh.yung me kakilala ka dapat sa agency.pero proud ako that I got in kasi pinaghirapan ko.The bigger the ship mas grabeng trabaho kaya wag nyo na pangarapin pa magwork sa malalaking ship.By the way asst.waitress dito sa company ko is pumapalo ng 2-3k euros yan mga day ah!Kaso pressure lang talaga kaya diko kinaya.
