i wonder what the helpers do in the house if their employers are not home

Minsan we leave our yaya and helper at home tapos lahat kame lumalabas to have dinner or something. I dont know what they're doing, siguro watch TV galore. Ok lang naman, basta wag magpapasok ng ibang tao sa house. I doubt naman if they will do that since our neighbors are close to us and may mga pagkasumbungera.

We dont, however, leave our 18 month old daughter with our helpers tapos mag-isa lang sila sa house. Syempre kahit kelan, I will never fully trust other people. Basta lageng kelangan may maiwan like my mom, my sister, ganyan.

we live in a condo.  i caught yaya nakikipagligawan with the water station delivery boy in the hallway.  at karga karga pa ang baby kong 1.5yrs old.  at naka *censored* shorts pa talaga.

when i caught them as i was getting out of the elevator, si delivery boy sobrang shocked at guilty ang hitsura, di na alam san pupunta.  halos gusto nang tumalon sa bintana.

at si yaya dali daling tumakbo papasok sa unit namin.  pinagalitan ko ora mismo si yaya.  ang defense ba naman nya eh nasa labas ng bahay naman sila nag uusap!

ang hirap na malandi ang yaya!

Sobrang hirap na tlg mag tiwala ngayon ng yaya..Yung dati kong yaya nahuli ko natutulog sa center table (wood naman sya at maliit lang ang yaya ko kaya kasya sya) namin with fan na nakatutok sa kanya at radio..ok lang yun eh kaso yung anak ko nakakulong sa kwarto na sarado at naglalarong mag isa at walang fan at sobrang basa ng pawis ang likod, sino ba ang hindi magagalot nun. Yun ang una kong nakita na kakaiba sa yaya ko ang sumunod ay nung sinama ko yung son ko at wlang tao sa bahay the whole daw kundi sya, around 9 pm umuwi na kami tapos wl si yaya, walang fud, ang dumi ng bahay, as in wlang ginawa si yaya at tinawagan ko, andun sa inuman ng mga kasambahay...lasong nung umuwi at kasama ang jowa n tomboy..ang galing...ASAR.... di ko pa mapaalis kasi wl akong maiwan sa anak ko, mga 1 week pa yt syang nag stay sa bahay after nung nangyari..Hay san ba may matinong yaya??

my daughter's yaya  has free time when my daughter is at school. what she does when she's alone at home is do the chores she hasn't finished yet. di ko alam kung baket di mapirmi sa isang lugar tong yaya ng anak ko. pag nasa bahay kami, i would normally tell her to sit down and rest kasi ako ang nahihilo sa kanya galaw ng galaw.

i tell her na kapag nasa school na ang bata, take nya opportunity na matulog, sasabihin nya she wouldnt baka malate sya ng gising at di masundo on time ang bata. tama nga naman. di ko nga naisip yun. LOL. pro there are times naman na nagpapahinga sya, sabi nya. LOL. well, she's old enough. she knows what to do, rest if she needs, else magpakapagod sya.

kaya ang ginagawa ko tawag ako ng tawag sa kanila kada 30mins. pang-asar lang.
kahit wala naman na sila ginagawa sa hapon

Yung yaya ng daughter ko for 3 years, ligpit ng ligpit and nood ng tv pag wala ako. Okay lang naman dahil inuuna nya gawin yun mga kailangan nya gawin. Etong temporary yaya ngayon, for sure pag wala ako nakaupo lang or nakatulala. Kasi nga kahit nandito ako paupo-upo lang. Kelangan utusan to the max para kumilos. Super walang kusa. Kelangan pa bantayan kasi sablay kung magwalis or mag-mop. Hindi naman sya makapagwatch ng tv kasi off limits sya sa mga room. Dun sa lon time yaya naiiwan ko ang mga kids ko kasi responsible and trsutworthy, pero dito sa isa never ko iiwan.

Most likely she watches tv to her heart's content & mega chismis galore with the maids of the other neighbors. Kakabad trip ang hilig mangapit bahay eh. Kung andito nga ako sa house labas na ng labas yan, minsan naman nagpapaalam kaya hinahayaan ko na pero diba what more pag wala kami ng husband ko.

My yaya is very efficient but our helper who's currently on VL is quite tamad. Whenever we're not home, she bosses my yaya around and makes her do all the chores na dapat sya ang gumagawa like clean the bathrooms, clean the rooms, and such. I confronted her about it and even told my yaya in front of our other helper not to take the helper's chores, tumino naman ng konti. My mom said nga na dapat half ng bayad sa helper namin, ibigay sa yaya kokase mabilis kumilos, hinde makupad kagaya ng maid namin. But for the most part, mabait naman. Pwede na pagchagaan dahil mahirap humanap ng maid ngayon.

I don't have any issues if ano gawin nila (watch tv or sleep) when I'm out as long as when I get home all the tasks they are expected to do are accomplished. I don't tolerate though is letting peopleinside the condo, which they don't do OR leaving the condo premises without my knowledge. I had a maid before na nag paalam while we're out walking my NB na she has to meet up with her sister. Eh akala ko sa 711 which is next door, so pumayag ako. Ayun nakaaabot sa shopwise, which is a jeep away from our place. Ang problem she brought the house key with her so when we got home we don't have any way of going inside. It took her almost 3 hours pa cause na-late dumating sister niya. Inis inis ako cause my daughter was grumpy & hungry and I left my wallet at home.

^ naku that's what we emphasized din kay manang. one time din kasi yung isang pinay househelp nagpunta sa bahay humingi ng gamot sa trangkaso (side note: kawawa nga e di binibigyan ng amo ng gamot, at di rin pinapagpapahinga parang walang karapatan magkasakit si yaya) so nagulat kami andun na bigla sa gate

hirap kasi dito since nasa ibang bansa kami and we live far from relatives and friends here, dapat din nag iingat kahit pa sa kapwa pinoy. remember flor contemplacion and delia maga, creepy! hahaha.

friends kung friends but i think it's better they don't know where we live, kung sino tao sa bahay, what time we go home, all those stuff. di mo alam noh. kaloka lang.

i let them rest since mostly im just home. pero swerte kasi ako sa maid ko ngaun bumalik siya samin after nagasawa. masipag may kusa at mabait. mom niya yaya ko before nung maliit pako.

ah for sure ang maid ko magbabad sa cellphone, sa tv, matulog or tumunganga, which is okay lang naman. basta ang importante tapos na ang trabaho at hindi tsismisan ang aatupagin sa labas or worse, makipag landian.

Our medyo new helper told my dad that some of the helpers in the house drink pala pag wala kami.  Sabay sabay kasing mga bago yung mga helper, all from the agency.  Nag iinuman pala if wala kami.

I don't have problems people outside the condo coming inside the house since our guards are pretty strict. They cant go up without the owners' approval,Kinakatakot ko are the other maids from the other units. Siyempre they're within the premises already. Sometimes,the kids' playmates come here to play. So ang SOP ko Kay yaya, I always lock the master's bedroom. If kailangan maglinis ni yaya, I leave with her the key. Or i leave the door unlocked and she should lock it after cleaning. So sabi ko kargo niya if may mawala sa loob ng room while I'm out cause she's the only one who has access to the room.

There are so many possibilities depending on their personality. Some might actually work and clean, some might turn on the aircon or TV. Some may even stay on your bed or use your toilet.

Ang dami. In the end, we'll never know until we find out

omg same here sis!! although shoes ko naman, sabi "ate ang ganda ng high heels mo pero hindi ko kayang maglakad ng kahit 30 minutes, 5 minutes lang ang sakit na ng paa ko" ang galing no? it's been 3 years since wala na kaming house help which is really good, menus gastos, menus stress!

So sabi ko kargo niya if may mawala sa loob ng room while I'm out cause she's the only one who has access to the room.

We're guilty here. We never lock our master's bedroom kahit pa were away. I leave valuables also pero I'm not too concerned of it kasi obvious naman pag nawala since kami lang tao sa bahay concern ko e yung mga important papers, like bank statements, letters from the govt. etc etc. i think i need to buy a container, enough size lang with lock pra masecure to.
