i wonder what the helpers do in the house if their employers are not home

^ yup i lock my room but sometimes nakakalimutan ko. pero i keep my important things under lock and key.

^dyan ako yare. masyado ako madaling magtiwala. never locked our room. andun lang yung watches, etc. so far, wala naman nawawala. although, pag andyan si mommy, lagi nya tinatabi yung mga gamit ko. madalas pa nga naiiwan ko pera sa bag ko, wala naman nawawala. swertihan sa helpers. prayers mga sis.

Watch tv & listen to drama sa radyo.Okey lang yun sa akin basta tapos na trabaho, kahit matulog pa sya after, no problem with me.

i work din pero dito lang sa bahay kaya nachi-check ko si baby at yaya nya from time to time. nakikita ko lang pag tulog si baby, text lang sya and watch ng tv. kasi sa umaga pa lang pag tulog pa si baby, ginagawa na nya lahat ng dapat nyang gawin kaya sa tanghali, rest na sila. or play and watch tv. pag aalis ako, sila naiiwan ni baby and mapagkakatiwalaan naman sya. tinatago ko lang yung mga impt para sure na rin

ang househelp namin sa bahay pag wala kami, sinasabihan naman na kahit tanghali na magising ok lang.. basta as long as matapos pa rin yung saily chores nya.

minsan kainis kasi paspasan ang gawa nya para lang matapos lahat ng trabaho. pag wala kami at walang naka-monitor sa kanya - di quality gawa nya. then ang aga pa lagi tulog.

Yung maid ko walang ginawa kundi dumisplay sa labas, miski sa basurero talagang mega pacute tapos ang di ko ma-take e may construction ng house malapit dito at dun lagi tumatambay pag wala kami [textspeak!] dami guys tapos nagpa-party pa dun nung bday nya!

Nagpaalam sha na uuwi daw sa province magbabakasyon yun pala nalaman ko na lilipat sha sa construction, ewan ko kanino sha magtrabaho dun. Kala nya di ko alam--sinabi ko na intayin nya kapalit nya bago sha umalis dahil di puwede sa ken bigla bigla. Gusto ko nga pa-ban sa association baka [textspeak!] mamaya mag BF ng construction worker pasukan pa kami!

I just found out recently that a previous yaya actually brought her boyfriend to our room and used our bed to do their stuff while the whole family was away in the US!  The others didn't notice because they'd sneak in very late at night when everybody else were asleep.  Pinaalis na namin siya because she was pregnant already.  I wonder if that baby was "made" in our room?  Eeewww!

Natutulog siya, ok lang kung tulog din si baby, para pahinga din siya. Minsan sinusubukan talaga namin kung mapagkakatiwalaan siya, mag-iiwan kami ng 100 sa room o kung saang part ng bahay o sa pantalon kapag maglalaba sya. Pagbalik namin, sasabihin nya na may naiwan kami na pera tapos ibibigay sa amin. Wala naman nawawala sa gamit namin kasi alam nya na medyo OC kami sa gamit & alam namin kaagad kung may kulang o nagalaw sa gamit namin.

the yaya would always tell my daughter to go out with me. kaya tuloy naisip ko, ano kayang gagawin nila pag wala kami. i'm always out of the house naman pero bakit gusto nyang wala ang anak ko? accdg. to my daughter, nagpipicture taking daw yaya nya and the others sa garden, sala, and pool area. wala namang masama dito and i hope eto lang yung sekretong ginagawa nila.

I remembered something bout the picturetaking thing.... my sister in law found out that her helpers take turns in using her shoes, dress and posing posing sila sa sala para mag-picture picture... nahuli nya ang evidence when her daughter showed her a picture of the maid. Hindi naman nya mapaalis yung maid nya, so she gave them the things they wore and charged them for it. Yung isang shoes nine west, so she charged P2k ata dun sa isa. Kaltas sweldo.

If my helpers choose to sleep, eat or watch TV while I am out of the house - no problem with me.  AS LONG AS they have finished all of the household chores na dapat nilang gawin.

I'm a home based entrepreneur.Madalang lang akong umalis ng bahay.Mahilig lang silang manood ng tv.Mas nauuna pa akong matulog sa gabi then sila inaabot ng hating gabi sa panonood.Ok lang sa akin basta nagagawa nila nang maayos mga trabaho nila.

i'm glad wala pa naman mega incidents with our house helpers, kasi most of them 20++ years na with our family, yung ibang mga bago, pag medyo palpak pinapagalitan ng mom ko.

my mom's very generous with them, may sarili silang kwarto and tv plus all expense paid barko trip whenever they go home to their respective provinces

hmm...eto palagay ko SLEEP all day, TEXT all day, WATCH all day and do nothing. Ang mpag alam nya na malapit na kami umuwi tsaka nya palang gagawin yung mga dapat nyang gawin at mga sinabi namin na gawin nya!

kase madalas yan pag uwi namin walang kaayusan ang bahay. Biruin nyo the whole day kami wala sa house,uuwi na lang kami mga 8 na ng gabi. By that time amoy na amoy mo pa rin yung floor wax at spray ng Baygon. Kung umaga nya yun ginawa o pag kaalis palang namin ng bahay eh di sana hindi ganon yung amoy na tipong kakagawa nya lang. So ano ginawa nya right after we left the house???

They watch tv and do their manicures and pedicures, experiment with different hairstyles, read, facial treatments -- mga oatmeal and whatever they get from the kitchen  -- yun gawa ng cook, and cleaners.  Si cook pala does cross stitch also.  The lavandera -- madalas tv and tulog.  Supposedly ha -- after their work is done.

To make sure nagawa ang work before the personal care,  I have a schedule (good for 1 month more or less)  they follow in cleaning the house. May gawa daily (all CRs and kitchens for example,  may gawa weekly,  meron 1x/mo lang).  The next day, I run my fingers on whatever to check kung talagang ginawa. 3 times linoko ako palit na maid. 
 
They also have time to siesta everyday, after lunch kasi nobody is there sila sila lang -- walang utos.  Dati around 4PM ---   the cleaners nasa labas watering the sidewalk gardens -- pero paalembong din sa  mga boys walking the dogs,  mga roving guards.   Nang madatnan ko that modus operandi I said sa umaga ang dilig sa labas -- and assigned just 1 cleaner to do it.       

The yayas hindi puede ganyan kasi during the day -- pag hindi pa go to preschool,  my sisters and I send all our kids to my mom's  house Monday - Friday.   We retrieve our kids  before going home. 

As for the picture taking,  when they come in I tell them talaga bawal picture taking.     As in no cameras allowed, ganun patakaran ng mommy ko (that I picked up too)  ever since 1 maid used a sister's bikini to pose parang playboy bunny  by her  pool. (Yuck)   I impound their cameras kung may dala,  and give it back pag nag off.   But when I take pictures of my kids at home, may mga weekends na ganun -- I tell them to dress in their own panglabas clothes and I lend them an old camera that uses film pa.  (Ouch pag nahulog or mishandle digi cam eh).   It takes them 1 hour bago matapos sa kaka ayos at pose.  I don't make bantay para emote sila to the max.  -- talagang favorite ang pool.  (Wala pa namang suot ng bathing suit/'bikini")   Tapos,  pa print sa camera world -- I send the driver to do it -- I pay for it -- Max 5 pics per person.

I lock our bedrooms when we leave the house.  So wala silang magawang kalokohan doon.

When we were abroad, our maids hosted a huge party. They invited the maids and drivers from all around the village. Nag-swimming pa sila sa swimming pool namin. Tapos they turned on the aircon and slept in our room. Hay nako. So much for trusting them. Buti nalang nag-sumbong ang neighbor.
