i just bought this lenovo B560 for 1849 here in jeddah (around 18k+ php) so far i like its specs.. ntel core i3 380m 2.53GHz, 3GB ddr3 ram, 500GB hdd, dvd-rw super multi,15'6 display, windows 7, bt, wifi, webcam with mic at may 5 in 1 reader na.

I got G470. Okay naman, I love the widescreen. Di naman ako pihikan sa looks at features, basta makapag-net at magawa ko yung mga dapat gawin for my master's, okay na. Haha

eh, usually, laptops are meant for mobile use.. eh since ginagawa ko siyang parang desktop, yung potential nya hindi masyado nagagamit.. (especially considering thinkpads have this red dot (na pwede gamiting mouse)), which is quite useful if you don't use external mice.

i basically use it as a video player/browsing/occassional gaming.. pero ang main advantage ko nga ay lagi lang siya nasa bed..hopefully there's no harming in doing so.

^ah sayang kasi nasa bed lang haha! Pero kung lagi naman nagagamit, ok na rin.. Sayang din because of the weight. Nakakatamad bitbitin kaya i bought a tablet na lang pang labas. Bigat kasi ng binili ko sa lenovo.

Oh, rather than lagi nagagamit, tuwing nasa bahay ako, lagi lang siya nakabukas.. most of the time downloading/upload torrents...also overnight siya naka-on daily, or rather, nakakatulog kapag nagpapahinga ng onti after usage... well nakabukas lang naman siya kapag nasa bahay ako.. malakas sa electricity, pasaway lang ako kasi hindi naman ako nagbabayad.wa.

so i guess it's quite durable na rin

i also bought a cdrking air cooler, so nakapatong lang siya dun, kaso hindi palagi naka-on kasi minsan nagkukulang ako ng usb slots dahil sa mouse, ipad, phone. hindi ko naman masyado napapapansin kung umiinit siya..maybe, but madalas naman kapag gabi naka-aircon kasi, so it isn't really a bother.

di pa ako nakakabili ng fan ng lenovo, yung laptop balls lang ok naman sya.. Depende na lang init nya, mainit sya kapag super daming running programs.. Ako rin lagi sa bahay lang tong laptop.. hehe!

actually, tiwala talaga ako sa lenovo... first laptop ko kasi ay yung old laptop ng mother ko mula sa office nya..kahit luma na, at naibagsak ko na, buhay pa rin. (it was an old thinkpad)
second laptop ko was a entry level g-series laptop.. matagal din ang buhay sa akin.. madalas din lang nakabukas. heheh.

tapos etong ngayon.. so for now, recommended ko ang lenovo for laptops, all the more kung thinkpad.. (not really sure about the edge series..tignan natin

).i'm not really sure about netbooks though, but i did buy my gf a s10-3t (yung convertible). ok pa naman siya, although nagfail ata yung hdd nya for some reason (i now replaced it with a sdd).

Magpa-five years na ang Lenovo G400 ko sa February 2013, and yet eto, buhay pa rin and working perfectly fine (sans the battery). Surely, Lenovo din ang bibilhin kong bago this December.

may nakapag pa try na ba sa inyo magpawa ng Lenovo sa Service Center? Kasi 'yung Lenovo ko, ang ingay na niya na parang may airplane or something. hahaha! Tapos nag loose na din ang saksakan niya. Ayaw na tuloy mag charge ng maayos.

Just had my first repair with my Lenovo lappy which is 3 years old. Nagloose yung charging port.

Lumubog na, ayaw na tuloy masaksak. Took it to one store and inquired HM is the repair, and it was a whooping 3,200! Went to the other store, it was 800 (whew) and finally, went to this repair shop which charged 700 php. Buti nalang!
And now, it's all good! Thank God. I can't afford to lose this baby.
