We ate at Don Hen's Baguio, not the one in SM, and the service was really bad. First, the server taking our orders can't get our orders right. He has to repeat it like, 3 or 4 times, and each time, we have to correct him coz he keeps missing something from our order. So he finally got it right and we were just waiting for our orders.
We were 6. We ordered a salad, one pasta dish for each of us, drinks, and a platter of buffalo wings. So eto na. sobrang tagal as in sobrang tagal. We always eat at Don Hen's here in Manila so we know how long it usually takes before our food arrive. After waiting for more than 30 mins, we were ready to walk out. Sabay dating yung waiter carrying a plate of seafood pasta which was ordered by one of my friends. Since dumating na, we thought na dadating na din yung samin. We just ignored the fact na yung salad is wala pa which is easier to make than the pasta and normally, salads are supposed to be served first, di ba? We just let it go since we were so hungry na that time and we were thinking na panibagong waiting time na naman if we transfer to a different resto and we were expecting nga na our food will be served na din.
My friend was almost done with her pasta when my friend's pasta and chicken was served. Shortly followed by our other friend's order. Half-way through their meal, the salad was served. I was so hungry na that I started eating the salad. My other friends are not green-salad eaters but we still ordered the to-share one coz me and my other friend loves salads. The salad was almost gone when my other friend's pasta dish was served.
By the time I finished my salad, 2 pasta dishes still weren't served yet and my friend decided to ask the server kung asan na the remaining 2 pasta dishes and the buffalo wings. He'll check daw and paglabas, dala na yung buffalo wings. My friend asked kung asan na yung pasta dishes, and he said: "Sandali lang po.".
While we were waiting, we started to eat the buffalo wings na. Each piece was hilaw pa. as in may dugo pa na medyo nag-ooze paghiwa ng knife. So binalik namin and again, we asked where the other pasta dishes are. I-checheck nya daw ulet. After a few minutes, we called someone else na kase ang tagal bumalik nung "mag-checheck" daw.
The person we asked then called the one who said na ichecheck nya and paglapit nya samin, he said: "ma'am sorry po. nakalimutan po kase ilagay sa list yung dalawang pasta na inorder nyo."
We were like, "what?? eh nung tinanong ka namin kanina sabi mo sandali lang. and nung inulit mo samin yung order, you got everything na." Sabi lang nya, "sorry po. sasabihin ko na lang ulet."
We were so ready to walk out na kung hindi lang kami sobrang gutom, and tapos na kumain our other friends. While wating for the pasta, ayan na naman yung buffalo wings. at may dugo pa din sya. So we called the waiter and told him that may dugo pa din yung sinerve nila. kinuha lang nya without even saying sorry.
Our pasta were finally served and we were halfway through it and wala pa din yung buffalo wings. Since sobrang asar na kami and wala na din kami gana to eat it, we decided to just cancel it kase we were almost done eating and wala pa din.
After we finished eating, We asked for the bill na and while waiting for it, biglang dumating si waiter dala yung buffalo wings! Que horror! We told him na we cancelled it na, um-oo yung sinabihan namin, and that we're just waiting for the bill. So sabi nya, "ai sorry po. sandali lang po i-follow up ko yung bill."
Maya-maya, lumapit sya without the bill but with the buffalo wings AGAIN. My friend lost her patience na so she said, "Di ba we told you na we already cancelled yang buffalo wings? kulit mo ah."
After that, we called the supervisor na. We told him what happened, and after telling him everything, he handed me a survey form with a blank space on the lower half. He told me, and he didn't even bother asking, to write down everything that happened and he can file it as a complaint. I finally lost my patience na din and I told him to write it down himself since we just told him everything.
Terible.
