From personal experience:

Nurses - I'm always asked if I'm on duty on such and such day/holiday. Huh? I'm not a nurse.

Imelda Marcos and her shoes - I have too many shoes and my friends have asked me if it's a common trait among Filipinos. LOL.

Workaholic - Coz we always make sure that the work gets done.

Good food in general. My American friends always rave about our lumpia and pancit.

Balut - People ask me "Do you really eat that?"

Adobo. I've never met a foreigner who didn't like this. They always remember this one.

Also, I have to agree with the people here about pinoys being known for parties. People here in australia don't really have christmas parties. Aussies only have christmas breakfast or lunch. Pinoys go all out during christmas parties.

^Korek! Sabi din ng Koreans very sexual daw mga Pinoy. Sabi naman ng arabs very open minded daw pag dating sa sex at lahat daw ng Pinay overseas worker na single pa ay di na virgin. Sabi naman ng Taiwanese, uso pala kabit sa mga Pilipino, kasi halos lahat daw kilala niyang married na Pinoy/Pinay may bf/gf kahit me asawa sa Pilipnas.

Imagine, sinasabi nila ito sa akin kasi kala nila di ako Pilipino.

pagiging barat- yung uncle ko kasi bibili daw sya ng shades then my nakasabay sya na foreigner na bumubili rin at a lower price. so sabi nya bakit mas mura yung benta dun sa ibang foreigner sabi daw nung nagtitinda kasi pag Filipino daw siguradong makikipag bargain so tinataas na nila price pag Filipino bumibili

Well i introduced to my inlaws and especially to my hubby Chicken Adobo, yan talaga ang nagustuhan nilang food..
Filipinas are beautiful... oh ayan ha, kase kahit san ako pumunta, lilingon at lilingon mga ulo ng mga Indians sa akin, oh divah.... Wala kaseng nakitang ALIEN, hahaha!
Angat tayo pagdating sa conversation (English) , kase marami dito di nakakaintindi ng english, pag bibili ako ng egg, i wont say "Egg" i really have to point (use my finger) so that they wud understand what im going to buy...ohaaa!

i think it depends if you're with a group of insensitive idiots, they'll tell you to your face about pinoys being associated to be mail orders or domestic helpers. although being a d.h. means hard work and sacrifice and is a decent job, they shouldnt pigeonhole or stereotype us into that. as if, i think any nationality can become a dh or a mail order bride, its not only us. ive had my fair share of idiots before and medyo nasanay ako being associated unfairly like that, to the point im annoyingly defensive na. i just quit being defensive lately, because its ridiculous.
anyway cant do anything, cant change what we already are, that is, pinoys.

anyway its now "efren bata reyes" and "those shoes" (ewan anong shoes..bakya?lol)

most FILIPINOS in my area (NORTH CALI) are ILOCANOS...
they think all filipinos are really dark, short, and ugly---except for the hot girls..
i'm bicolano...i'm fair skinned and the opposite..
people think i'm KOREAN or CHINESE...
i'm 1/8th chink tho...

its sad how people think that FILIPINOS ARE UGLY

but i say that most of the pretty ones are still back in the HOMELAND
