Pet Peeve sa kalye

eto nangyari not on kalye but somewhat it happened na rin sa iba. last sat punta kami ni hubby sa eatwood to watch Dark Knight. sa parking we're waiting kasi may lalabas un side na un is for exit. may babae kasama kids niya sa car pumasok sa exit tapos kami pa un pinaatras. kapal ng mukha. hindi marunong magbasa. dami talagang t****

mahaba pila sa tollgate. tapos yung sinusundan mo, dun pa lang maghahanap ng barya kung kelan katapat na sya ng toll collector. lalo na pag dun nya pa lang narealize na nakapila pala sya sa exact toll lane.

Un mga taong ginagawang basurahan ang kalye, itatapon un wrapper ng pinagkainan sa window. Bakit di na lang ilagay muna sa bag un wrapper tapos pagkababa tsaka itapon sa tamang basurahan. Di lang sa mga public transport ako nakakakita ng gumagawa nito, pati un mga nakasakay sa private vehicles.

^ nakakagigil yan sis.  may nasundan akong car na ganyan.  biglang nagtapon ng malaking popcorn bag sa kalye.  isang supot at isang sando bag.  binusinahan ko ng malakas.  ang bastos!  bakit ba hindi makahintay pag-uwi at itapon sa basurahan?  kung hindi lang ako nag-mamadali ipapahuli ko kasi bawal yun.  may fine na P500-P1000 yan... kasama yan sa mga city ordinance na dapat striktong ini-implement.

Ordinance No. 96-009. This policy is entitled, "Prohibiting Littering/Dumping/Throwing of Garbage, Rubbish Or Any Kind Of Waste In Open Or Public Places, And Requiring All Owner's, Lessees, Occupants of Residential, Commercial Establishments, Whether Private or Public To Clean And Maintain The Cleanliness Of Their Frontage And Immediate Surroundings And Providing Penalties For Violation Thereof." On the "whereas" portion of the ordinance, it says that the objective of the policy is "to regulate the indiscriminate dumping/littering/throwing of garbage, refuse, filth and other kinds of solid waste in public places, rivers, canals, drainage and other water outlets...."

Presidential Decree No. 825 "Providing penalty for improper disposal of garbage and other forms of uncleanliness and for other purposes," November 7, 1975. This policy sets penalties for violations (such as imprisonment of not less than 5 days but not more than one year or a fine of not less than P100 or more than P2000 or both) and empowers the Secretary of Public Works Transportation and Communication, with the assistance of health officials and local governments concerned for the supervision and implementation of the decree.

...kaya kung may MMDA around puede natin tawagin ang pansin nila kapag may-nagkakalat at ipahuli ang nagkakalat.  Teka alam kaya yan ng mga MMDA officers yan?

apart from the usual jeepneys and universal pet peeves while on the road, eto pinaka-grabe na na-experience ko (buti isang beses PA LANG ito nangyayari):

tumatawid ng intersection ng soooobrang bagal. Bakit? Yung magaling na binatang nag mamaneho nag p-PSP habang nagmamaneho. Kaasar!!!

Here's my most annoying experience...  My husband and I stopped on red at a Makati Avenue intersection.  I looked in the rearview mirror and saw another car approaching behind us.  The guy driving (who was in his mid-20s and his girlfriend were kissing while the car was running.  I knew then that something bad was going to happen.  As expected, the car behind us collided with our car.  My husband got off the car to talk to the guy and to try to arrange something to compensate for the damage he had caused.  The guy told him that he didn't have any money to pay for the damage.  The guy also said that the car was owned by his aunt and she shouldn't know about what happened.  My husband let him go.  I wouldn't have allowed that guy to get away with it, had I been the one who dealt with him!  He didn't have money and didn't own the car he was driving but he had the guts to indulge in some hanky-panky while driving!  People like him should vanish from the face of the earth!  LOSER!!!

Motorcycles and scooters who swerve in and out of traffic, or position themselves beside your car, right where it's difficult to see them.  They don't take care of themselves, but when you hit them, you're the one who might end up liable.  Sucks.

sis, i have to agree with you on this. hindi man lang sila tumabi while on the road. minsan nakikipagsabayan pa sa mga cars.. and then ikaw pa ang lagot if you hit them. hhmmpphh..

Mga kotseng hindi nag-sisignal kapag magche-change lane at mga bikers na walang reflector kapag gabi! Grr.

motorcycles/scooters - number 1 pet peeve ko! sorry pero ang sarap nila sagasaan! haha! mahilig sumingit at mag change lanes kahit wala sa lugar. madalas magugulat ka nalang kasi pag lingon mo halos nakadikit na pala sila sayo. tapos pag magkabanggaan kayo ika pa may kasalanan. hmp! mga peste sila sa buhay ko! hahaha

tricycles - ok mabagal sila pero kung mabagal ka na nga, tumabi ka naman at wag ka sa gitna ng kalsada at kadalasan nago-occupy ka pa ng 2 lanes.

magpadaan naman sila ng mga gustong umandar!

PUJ/PUV    kung maayos lang sila magsakay at magbaba ng pasahero i don't think magkaka traffic sa kalsada. 

another peste sa daan, those motorcycles.  walang pakundangan magsisingit, kaliwa't kanan kung maka singit. 

just like the post of antibac, pero ito sa parking naman.  dun lang maghahanap ng pambayad tapos hindi pa barya ang ibibigay.  naman....

yung hindi marunong mag-observe ng lanes.. lalo na yung mga nasa left side tapos akala mo mga graduate ng arlington / funeraria paz ang pag mamaneho.. kainis kasi fast lane po kasi ang left lane kung gusto nilang samsamin ang biyahe, pwede naman sa gitnang lane eh, grrrrrr..

and I thought it was the other way around.

One time when I was riding coming from Pque going to Acropolis, over the bridge of ortigas avenue, may revo ata yun na nag horn sa akin ng katakot takot at tipong he wants me to stay on the side of the lane. Nasa right lane ako, running at around 75 to 80 kph. Slow lang yung vehicle sa left lane na kung saan sya nanggaling and he want's me to move on the side of the lane, himajin?! = )

So ang pet peeve for me is yung mga cagers that think MCs are equivalent to bicycles.

may bisyo ang mga jeepney drivers here sa west service road ng paranaque,  the stretch from bicutan to sucat...

nakaka peste ang mga jeepney drivers na magkasalubong... tapos magsasakay sila ng pasahero and maghihintay pa... nang MAGKATAPAT ang mga jeepneys nila!  blocked kaya ang buong daan kaya walang makalampas sa kanila!

god!  do they even have brains!  o talagang nang aasar na!
