sabi daw kasi sa HR ni hubby pwede daw eh.kelangan lang passport,iqama at exit/re- entry.basta   (Gulf Cooperation Council) GCC residents e.g.Bahrain ,Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia)
Try namin ganun,kasi kung dubai ang layo taz by land lang kami,kawawa naman magddrive. kung Bahrain kasi pwede kami magpahinga sa al khobar dahil my pinsan din kami dun,buong pamilya din sila anjan kaya makakapagpahinga bago tumuloy ng bahrain.

^sis i'm following them too sa fb sa kanila ko nalalaman pag may sale sa mall hahahah since pag nagsale sa riyadh for sure yung mga brands na yun magsale din naman dito sa khobar.

Sis xiansmom- not sure sis di pa namin naitry yung sa border mismo kukuha. Ang alam ko sa UAE pwede so baka pwede nga rin sa bahrain pero ask ko hubby ko kung narinig nya na yun. Multiple visa kasi kinuha namin kanya good for 6mos na sya saka mas mura compared kung single entry lang at least yun sa 6mos pwede ka magpabalik balik sa bahrain. Kaso expired na yung samin kanya tiis tiis muna dito sa khobar hahaha

What types of visa are available?

All persons who wish to enter Bahrain need a visa except citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates).

These concepts are explained below:


Purpose   This is the reason you have for needing a visa (eg. general tourism, business, work, visit family, etc).

Sponsorship   Most visas for Bahrain must be sponsored (ie. obtained for you by a Bahrain company, hotel, or travel agent, etc). Unsponsored visas exist, but only for certain nationality groups, and certain purposes.

Standard or eVisa   Some visas are "standard" because they are visible in the passport as a stamp or label. The term "eVisa" is used to refer to a visa where there is no visible stamp or label. In this case the visa is electronic, and the validity of the visa will be recognised at the border when you enter Bahrain. An example of this is the Visit eVisa, which is an electronic visa which can be obtained from this site.

Multiple/single   This determines the number of visits you may make. Most visas are single entry, but multiple entry visas exist for certain nationality groups.

Place of issue   Some visas are available on arrival in Bahrain, but otherwise visas must be pre-arranged, either through a sponsor, or an embassy.

All visas require you to pay a fee for the initial grant, and then for subsequent extensions (if any extension is permitted).

Each type of visa has its own set of conditions. These are rules which govern whether or not it can be granted in a given case, and whether or not entry will be granted once you arrive in Bahrain. There are also conditions of use, which determine the maximum length of your stay, and advise you what is lawful activity for a holder of the visa in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

All visas have a validity period. This is the period of time during which the visa can be used for travel to Bahrain. If it is not used within this period, the visa expires, and you must obtain a new one.

^sis natuloy kami sa bahrain at yes,pwede sa border na kumuha ng visa sa kahit saang GCC country,kapag GCC residents ka at ang maganda pa dun,FREE ang visa nyo kapag company managers, business people, auditors, accountants, doctors, engineers, pharmacists iqama mo.kaya ayun free kami...hehe...pero  mura lang naman pala ang visa 20 riyals lang,Labor kasi mga pinsan namin kaya nagbayad sila ng 20 riyals.naenjoy namin bahrain, sa Delmon Hotel kami nagstay tapat ng gold city,grabi...nakakaloka sa bahrain noh...as in akala mo candy lang inaalok kapag lalaki ka taz lalabas ka sa gabi!Food lang naman pinunta ko dun,yung mga boys alak at food.kaya sobrang enjoy na enjoy sila ayaw pa nga umuwe kaso kailangan na magpahinga work mode na kasi sila ulit bukas.

hello mga sis, meron po ba sa inyo na nagwowork or may nakakaalam na nagwowork sa Saudi Aramco? im currently asking for some tips about the work environment there and if the pay is good?

i have worked in Oil & Gas industry here sa Pinas before and now im checking if worth it ba na i-entertain ang opportunity with Saudi Aramco? Im currently based here in Dubai for 7 years  na, ang worry ko lang is baka manibago ako sa enviroment sa Saudi?

^sis kung direct na Saudi Aramco ka, no doubt magandang company yun. Halos lahat yata ng nagwowork dito eh gusto mapasok sa Aramco. Pag sa loob ka nakatira ng Aramco, para kang nasa American community. Disiplinado din pero kumpleto naman sila sa mga pwede pagkaabalahan sa loob.
Pagdating sa environment siguro iba lang talaga na walang night life saka walang alak or pork pero sa loob ng Aramco pwede ka makakain dun ng pork dun.
Pag gusto mo naman maglibang paminsan pwede ka naman tumawid sa Bahrain which is kering keri pag sa Aramco ka nagwowork. May church din pala dun sa loob.

Ang init init ngayon mga sis. Sobrang humid. We went to ramaniyah and kadiwa last night grabe ang pawis namin unlimited. Pati AC namin dito sa bahay bumibigay pa yata nawawala yung lamig >.<

Been reading this site for more than a year but it was only last night that I found out na me thread about Saudi I was focused into the TTC/pregnancy threads  since we are TTC then and am pregnant now..

Am here in Jubail since De 2012..Prior to my arrival I've been searching already about life in Saudi..

chedz.03....I've noticed that you are so active in this thread... ..keep it up!..It's nice to know that there are people who are willing to share their knowledge...from sharing we learn a lot..

I've finished reading the whole thread..There were inquiries about Pinoy doctors and difficult to find one..I was also on that dilemma when I came here.... I've made inquiries over the phone and search Astoon Hospital website but I was told by a Pinay office staff that the Pinay OB is a resident doctor only..so she does make consultation with patients..

Hopefully, we could find a Pinay OB here...If ever you find one please share your experience...

Thanks sis. I'm happy to share whatever knowledge or experience I have dito sa [textspeak!]. I know the feeling kasi yung wala mapagtanungan dito masyado at wala din makachika na sisses.
About Pinay or Pinoy OB, mukhang madalang talaga since mas kinukuha nila ay from middle east din karamihan mga assistant lang talaga pag pinoy kahit sa mga dentist.
Kaya ako kahit TTC din sis at need talaga monitor ni OB because of my PCOS eh wala twice lang ako nagconsult di na ako bumalik kasi di ako nasatisfied. Pag uwi nalang sa pinas.

BTW, sale ang Al-Hokair products sa mga malls. Under ang Aldo, Nine West, GAP at marami pang iba! ^__

Sis kasheica-sa Al Mana Khobar ako nagpaconsult sis. Pero yung first OB kc na nakausap ko eh resident OB palaat pang emergency sya and nagreliever lang sya dun sa nakabasyon kanya di na sya next na napuntahab ko. Yung sumunod sudanist naku di naman sa panglalait eh wala wenta hehe kanya di nako bumalik.

Ok daw sis yung senior OB dun kaso lalaki si Dr. Banafaa o kaya oks din daw si Dra. Omaima.
