I'm planning to buy 500GB WD external HD. I think I don't need 1T kasi pictures lang naman ang ilalagay ko. Nakakatakot lang baka biglang masira yung computer and malost lahat ng files.

I inquired at PC HUB and their cost are:

My Passport Essential: 2,950

Yes sis alam ko pag PC Express standard lang ang price and cheaper pag cash ang purchase mo kesa card.  Itanong mo lang how much pag cash.  Ako kasi I started with 120GB, then 500 GB, then 1TB, ngayon meron na akong dalawang 1 TB, isang 500GB, at isang 120GB. yan din ang sabi ko dati, hindi ko mauubos ang 1TB. but it turns out kulang pa. lol

We bought sa HKG ng 3TB na Seagate for HKD1000. Sa conversion that time lumalabas na Php5200 lang. Got it in one of the stores sa Mongkok Computer center.

we bought a WD TV Live Streaming media player. I have been reading the manual and it seems that i need an EHD wherein doon nakalagay ang mga movies then saka ko siya i-attach sa WDTVLive then attach ko sa TV to play. Ang akala ko naman is the WDTVLive is EHD siya na deretso ko doon isasave ang mga movie files then iattach ko sa tv to play. mali ba pagkakaintindi ko?

^^ang mura ng bili mo sis. sana meron ding ganyan dito..

gusto ko rin bumili ng bagong external HD kasi 320GB lang lappy ko. ang dami na rin palang mura ngayon. yung samsung HD na binili ko kay hubby 2yrs ago 4k pa ang bili ko. gusto ko naman malaki capacity since mahilig ako sa movies.

If I may suggest go for External harddisks the size of WD Passport. Handy and not heavy. I just bought a 2TB Passport around 5K from Amazon.com

I prefer WD kasi yan ang harddisk na gamit ng mga game consoles so ibig sabihin reliable talaga

I am scouting parang may nakita ako na 6K na 2TB sa sulit. check nyo

just bought 1tb na seagate sa octagon kanina..3500 lang pero not the portable type..eto yung may sariling power source..OOS kasi ang 1tb ng WD..we already have the 500gb WD passport and I must say sobrang kulang ang 500gb lalo na kung puro HD movies and series ang ilalagay..baka we'll buy another 1tb WD for pictures/documents only..san ba merong mura na WD passport..sa octagon kasi nasa 6k+ eh..

I used to sell HD Movies loaded on different types of HDDs. Kung plan nyo bumili na mas mura than mall or PC Express. I suggest check nyo PCOptions, or Foxcomm. Both are stores at Gilmore QC. Mas mura dun and dun talaga ako bumibili for my clients. I have a total of 3 WD 2TB internal HDD dun ko lahat nabili yun. (puno ko na ng HD Movies)

I use my portable hard disk drive for storing movies.  Ang mga na-try ko pa lang ay Toshiba at WD Passport.  Both are excellent brands, as far as I am concerned.
